> 3 dayBeen looking for a good, portable umbrella. Ive tried a few and was skeptical about this umbrella since it opens the opposite way than most, but I actually found that this has helped with getting out of and into the car when its raining, and also prevents a lot of water from dripping off of the umbrella when I close it and set it in my backseat after Ive gotten into my car. The size is also a pretty good width for a portable umbrella. Its obviously not going to hold up to the size of a golf umbrella, but Id say its wider than most portable umbrellas Ive bought. So far, its been great but well see how it holds up over time.

> 3 dayHave not had the opportunity to use the umbrella on a super windy day yet to test out the durability of this products design of being made to handle winds without breaking. It is however quite a decent size for an umbrella and I do love the galaxy print on the inside.

> 3 dayChanged my rating based on their customer service. I emailed them and explained what happened and we had a another in 2 days, which works just fine. We just received this, and the very first time I opened the umbrella, it failed to stay open; the mechanism that locks it in place is broken. Tried numerous times, closing and re-opening the umbrella, I can feel and hear where the locking mechanism is but it wont engage.

> 3 dayThis is a sturdy and beautiful umbrella. It keeps the water from dripping on floors when you come in the rain too! I always receive compliments on it.

> 3 dayI bought this umbrella because I liked the fact that it’s reverse folding, and I liked the clouds and blue sky scenery on the inside. I hesitated at first after reading some of the negative reviews, but decided to take a chance. It arrived in a couple days as promised, and just in time for several days of rain. This umbrella is well made and sturdy. When you fold it up, the water stays inside so you can dump it out. I also like that it comes with a handy nylon storage bag with a strap long enough you can carry it on your shoulder. In fact, I liked this umbrella so much that I already ordered another one to give as a birthday or Christmas gift. It isn’t as large as a golf umbrella, but it is a good size.

> 3 dayThe Umbrella is pretty strong and a great size- Having kids and sports- this is essential. Typically, I would say 5 stars but I was a little taken aback at the picture vs the actual product- I ordered the Navy- and it looks like its a nice two-tone black top with navy inside- when I received the umbrella- its all Navy- and the rods are orange- Again its not a deal breaker and I like the rods in orange- but think maybe they should work on the product pictures to give an accurate idea of what it looks like. Updated: After my post, Upper Echelon reached out and were nothing short of amazing- they asked a couple questions about my order and fixed it right away- The umbrella is great but the service was even better!

> 3 dayThere is a velcro strap that holds the material tight when it is stowed. On a regular umbrella, this is on top of the umbrella when in use. But on a reverse umbrella, it dangles down while using the umbrella. This would not be a problem if it was in the rear of the umbrella, but the grip of the handle makes you hold it in one direction, and so the strap is dangling in front of your face. Very distracting and not a good look if youre meeting someone. You could tie it up each time you use the umbrella, but that takes two hands making the umbrella very un-handy. Im going to try removing it and sewing it on the back of the umbrella, but I have doubts about this since the underside of the umbrella seems like a more fragile material than the top. Speaking of which, because this underside material is on the outside when folded because of the reverse-umbrella design, I worry about it tearing when I am carrying the umbrella folded up. Repel should fix this design with the strap in front.
