> 3 dayBeautiful color and design. Works great when going into doorway or car door. No more dribbles of rain falling on me. Keep it in my car. Not compact to carry in bag but useful.

> 3 dayI like the design of the umbrella, but I was expecting a one-push open and a slightly larger circumference. Other than that the inside is beautiful and feels sturdy. Ive only had to use it once since purchased

> 3 dayI bought this umbrella for obvious reasons - to get in and out of my car without getting drenched. However, when you push the runner to the top where the umbrella fully expands and the runner should get locked, my umbrella forgets its primary purpose. It has decided to make me step out in the rain, struggle to get it locked, and get wet in the meanwhile. Quite likely that they sent me a faulty piece. The design does look quite lovely. Its a pity that mechanical quality is shoddy. I do not recommend it.

> 3 dayThere is a velcro strap that holds the material tight when it is stowed. On a regular umbrella, this is on top of the umbrella when in use. But on a reverse umbrella, it dangles down while using the umbrella. This would not be a problem if it was in the rear of the umbrella, but the grip of the handle makes you hold it in one direction, and so the strap is dangling in front of your face. Very distracting and not a good look if youre meeting someone. You could tie it up each time you use the umbrella, but that takes two hands making the umbrella very un-handy. Im going to try removing it and sewing it on the back of the umbrella, but I have doubts about this since the underside of the umbrella seems like a more fragile material than the top. Speaking of which, because this underside material is on the outside when folded because of the reverse-umbrella design, I worry about it tearing when I am carrying the umbrella folded up. Repel should fix this design with the strap in front.

> 3 dayThe catch to hold the umbrella up as a cover from the rain does not always engage on the first try which is somewhat of an aggravation. I do like the inside decoration and the fact that the rain is captured inside the layers when it is closed.

09-06-2025Broke on my first use. I do like the idea of it reversing, it feels light, and the handle is comfortable. But it also felt cheap and wobbly when moving around. (Walking) I used it on a day with some showers and the handle broke free from the shaft. My guess is the glue didn’t set properly when attached. I was originally going to replace it when I realized it is a bit small for my needs. It did stop rain but it only covered my head and the arm holding it. This would work as a backup umbrella to keep in the car, but I’ll be returning this and moving up to a stick or golf umbrella.

> 3 dayThe best umbrella design ever! Makes entering a car in the rain with an umbrella a pleasure instead of an aggravating wet chore.

> 3 dayThe grip is comfortable, the material of the canopy works as expected. What didnt was the opening mechanism. After the 1st successful use, as in you push the button and help it up a bit and it opens, this stopped working. Now I push and hold the button, push the canopy all the way to the open position, but the ribs of the canopy, some extend and form as they should while the others dont, so you have to sort that out and force them into their final position by hand, then you get to use it. At least closing works fine. I thought this was the last umbrella I needed to buy, but I still have to look again.

> 3 dayI love that I can get out of & in to the car without getting wet. You have manually push the umbrella all the way up to open it, but its easy. And you can easily stand the umbrella upside down to dry. In the wind, it did not blow inside out, and the colorful underside was a nice view during the downpour.

> 3 dayIn theory it’s a great design, in practicality it sucks. You have to put the underside out in the rain when you open it, when just makes the underside drip on you. That’s if it stays open - half the time it takes 10x to make it stick. Closing it is a nightmare. You either have to do it out in the rain and get when that way or you’ll try to close it when getting into your car and it literally gets your entire car wet. And just like any normal umbrella, it just drips and leaves a puddle. Do yourself a favor and get a normal umbrella.
