This is a sturdy and beautiful umbrella. It keeps the water from dripping on floors when you come in the rain too! I always receive compliments on it.

The product is fine as far as sturdiness and usability but I ordered a red and black reversible umbrella for a specific reason and its safe to say this is not red. Its maroon. So if that is important to you, I can tell you unless I got an oddball umbrella the red is not red and in the picture it clearly looks red. I even came back to look to see if I had ordered the correct one and I did. The one I received in this maroon color isnt even an option... Hey, maybe technically its burgundy but it sure is NOT red!

I loved this umbrella so much I gave two as gifts. While using my umbrella one of the fiberglass ribs twisted and broke. I checked the website and found that it is guaranteed for life! So I contacted their customer service and explained what happened. They responded immediately and informed me they would ship a replacement umbrella. In less than a day the matter was resolved and new umbrella had been shipped!

I live in western North Carolina. It is a very cool, well made individual persons umbrella. It is easy to keep water off of it so it doesnt soak your car or your house. For me, for what I use it for, five stars!

There is a velcro strap that holds the material tight when it is stowed. On a regular umbrella, this is on top of the umbrella when in use. But on a reverse umbrella, it dangles down while using the umbrella. This would not be a problem if it was in the rear of the umbrella, but the grip of the handle makes you hold it in one direction, and so the strap is dangling in front of your face. Very distracting and not a good look if youre meeting someone. You could tie it up each time you use the umbrella, but that takes two hands making the umbrella very un-handy. Im going to try removing it and sewing it on the back of the umbrella, but I have doubts about this since the underside of the umbrella seems like a more fragile material than the top. Speaking of which, because this underside material is on the outside when folded because of the reverse-umbrella design, I worry about it tearing when I am carrying the umbrella folded up. Repel should fix this design with the strap in front.

This umbrella is pretty and functional. It absolutely does a great job keeping you dry in every sense of the word. I also like that you can stand it up and not have to lean it on something and worry it will slide to the floor on its side. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I need something more compact. This umbrella is cumbersome to carry around. In my job I need everything to be portable and easy to carry.

I love the design of this umbrella. Getting out of the car or walking inside isnt a pain anymore. It closes in reverse, so its fast and simple. The size is on the larger side than a standard travel one. I normally have my purse on me and it always gets wet, not with this one. Definitely recommend for the price, the quality, and most importantly, the ease of it.

Changed my rating based on their customer service. I emailed them and explained what happened and we had a another in 2 days, which works just fine. We just received this, and the very first time I opened the umbrella, it failed to stay open; the mechanism that locks it in place is broken. Tried numerous times, closing and re-opening the umbrella, I can feel and hear where the locking mechanism is but it wont engage.
