The West Wing

We look forward to watching 2-4 shows a night before going to bed and really enjoy the show! It is written very well and the characters are excellent. Also, since it was well researched you learn a lot about various issues during the 90s and we are now up to 2004 stories.

Because of age, I was too young to watch West Wing when it originally aired. That said, this classic TV show is as relevant now as it was ten years ago. The characters and actors are brilliant and the series keeps getting better with each season. If you are looking for a show that will make you laugh, cry, and think about the world, look no further. The West Wing is one of the best shows ever created.

This DVD was intended for audiences outside North America. I can view it on my computer but not on my DVD. I was unaware of zone stamps on DVD. Apparently, each DVD carries a viewing code/zone stamp. The one I bought was for Europe, the Middle East and Asia - not America. I think that I will avoid purchasing DVDs in the future.

Excellent show, which seemed to get a little soap-opery toward the end. Aaron Sorkin was a genius, and the non-Sorkin parts paled. Nevertheless, I loved each segment.

Im watching the entire series for the third time. Every season is consistently good, even when new characters and plots are introduced. If youre looking for a good series that is well written with good character development, youll like this. I think the writers and producers mustve put a lot of thought into researching the goings-on at the actual White House (in fact, about halfway through the series, they do a special one-hour show that features the actual people who were in the same roles at the White House). Having lived in DC for about six months and having seen some of the behind-the-scenes machinations that are a part of that particular political landscape, I think this series well captures it. There are only some instances where you have to suspend your disbelief. Otherwise, its an intelligent series that actually makes me have hope for the future of politics. I think we need a Jed Bartlett and staff for the next election. I missed this series when it was originally broadcast; I am surprised that some of the plots are still so timely; and saddened, too, that so little has changed.

Love the writing style and the acting. Amazon Prime video/audio quality is flawless. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

This is the type of show that we need back on television, the writing, the acting all top notch.

While its sad that the issues havent changed one iota in ten plus years, the wit, charm, passion and insight of Aaron Sorkin are also timeless. One of the best TV series ever. And no bloody body parts.
