The West Wing

This show is very well written with thoughtful, snappy dialogue and wonderful character development. I dont know how close it is to working in the White House, but it feels very real.

The West Wing is still one of my favorite TV series. That and M*A*S*H and Downton Abbey. This is probably my third time through the entire series. Sometimes I get angry, sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry, sometimes I am amazed at the politics. But I am always entertained.

The writing, the acting, the writing...better civics lesson than I ever got from public schools...Martin Sheen is amazing talent as are all cast members

The series is as relevant today as it was when it was written 10+ years ago. Acting and directing excellent too. Recommend it highly.

On series 5 now.. watched and re watched the other 4. Each time I notice new angles to the stories. I dont fully understand the American political system, but really enjoyed this series. As pure value for money hard to beat hours if entertainment.

This series seems timeless. It remains so relevant to the issues that continue to challenge us in the country, and does so with heart and humor.

This is an amazing show! We need more shows like this on tv today! A show that I can rewatch again and again.

It is not flawless but nonetheless one of the very best TV dramas of all time. Found the basic rationality, intelligence and civility of the characters on both sides of the aisle especially cheering during the dark days of 2019 and 2020.
