> 3 dayThe overall pressure this provides around the scalp is great for a headache. And the gel pad design is so much better than beads because it stays evenly in place. I just wish it would keep cold longer than it does. I find myself refreezing it multiple times for one headache.

Greater than one weekMy fiancé and I when we get migraines they’re really bad. This has helped so much when they occur. It gets really cold and stays cold for a good amount of time. The compression is amazing and to us that’s what really helps.

Greater than one weekAs someone who is neurodivergent and chronically ill, I’m always looking for products/gadgets/life hacks to make life more manageable. I deal with migraines, as well as mast cell issues and heat intolerance, which I’ve been trying to combat with a variety of approaches. Ziplock baggies of ice are hard and uncomfortable to start, and then always leak by the end. Most reusable ice packs are also rigid and fail to conform to the shape of the area in trying to treat. Those that are flexible still don’t cover enough surface area and require MacGyvering to remain in place. This product solves all my problems. The texture reminds me of those gel wrist rests/mouse pads for your computer with spandex-y material on the outside. For any sensory-seekers out there, it’s really satisfying especially when cold haha… It remains fully flexible when frozen and contours beautifully to comfortably cover the entire head. The instructions say give it a minute or two when you first take it out of the freezer if the temperature is too cold. I didn’t think that would be a consideration for me, but was interested to find myself getting brain freeze the first time around! I just took it off for a minute or two and then put it back on and it was perfect. There’s no mess. No hassle. It’s perfectly comfortable sitting up and lying down. My only wish would be that the cold lasted juuuust a touch longer than it does. But since medical recommendations are to not apply ice to an area for more than 20 minutes at a time anyways, it works out. Love love love Get it!

> 3 dayI liked how this product can be used for both cold and hot temperatures. Also, like how gives you the option to fully cover your face/ eyes area. It’s fully covered with laying down and blocks the light out, which is nice if you are or have sensitivity to light with having headaches. It’s also comfortable to fall asleep in and isn’t too tight on the head, can be easily taken on/ off. But stays secure in place. The only minor thing, is the material that is used has a slight odor to it, which I had to air out for a day. Then it was gone and smelt normal. I enjoy this product it is must have for anyone deals with having headaches/migraines.

> 3 dayI purchased one for myself to ease my migraines. Hallelujah its a beautiful thing. When I first opened the bag, I did notice what some of the reviews were saying about the smell. I did not feel that it was too overwhelming. I just left it on the counter to air out for the night. Smell was gone by the next morning. Id suggest trying the refrigerator first before the freezer. I ended up giving myself a brain freeze on top of a migraine the first time I used it. I cant say this relieves the migraine itself, however it does provide a comforting sensory distraction from the pain. I have fallen in love with this cap and so has my husband. I just purchased one for him and one for my mama for Mothers Day. Ill probably have to purchase one for our son next LOL. I have gotten so much comfort from this cap, I wear it every night before bed even if I dont have a headache or migraine. I will probably purchase a few more of these for Christmas gifts this year. Worth every penny! Remember to follow the instructions and keep it inside the clear plastic bag while in the refrigerator.

Greater than one weekBackstory: I suffer from migraines and the following types of headaches: hormone, tension, cluster, and ice pick. OTCs dont work for me and Im now Im my fourth prescription meds as my body slowly acclimates to each drug. Decision making process: Recently I went through two days of hell. My head was in pain, drugs didnt work, and for once I couldnt tell what kind of headache/migraine I was facing. I finally tried ice and that helped immensely. Going through many reviews on Amazon for differing products, I decided to give this product a try because 1) although I liked the idea of an ice block cap for its longer lasting coldness, it didnt sound comfortable and lacked true flexibility to push the ice blocks to where the cold may be needed most; 2) with gel there are no lumpy blocks of ice poking my head in weird places making it hard to lay down, which I often need to do when my head is in pain; 3) although reviews indicated the cold lasts for maybe 20 minutes, reviews also seemed to indicate it could get cold again in as little as 2 hours if needed--ice would take much longer to freeze again; 4) the product was on discount so why not give this a try and if I liked it, could reorder. After actual use: I love this product. Will it work for everyone? No. But this worked for me and continues to work for me. Ive already bought my second one so I can rotate if needed. Do I look silly? Yes. Do I care? No. The relief I get is incredible. Out of the bag there is a slight smell, but honestly after throwing it in the freezer and placing it on my head, I dont smell anything. If you have a super sniffer, you might pick up on it, but I dont. Its a very soft neoprene like product that provides my smaller head with a minimal amount of pressure around my head. If you have a larger head, this might prove a bit too much, but its perfect for me. The product can be thrown into the freezer and two hours later you have a cold product ready to go on your head. It can be too cold right out of the freezer, so I just put it slightly over my head to help it acclimate to cold before pulling it on. Pulling it over my eyes is actually comforting for me, but I can see how those with larger heads might want a cloth over your eyes before pulling it all the way down.
