> 3 dayThis was bought primarily for daily dog hair on hardwood and area rug. We have a Siberian Husky with white, very fine hair that sheds constantly. The vacuum did a great job removing the hair from the hardwood and the low pile rug, as well as with other floor debris. We used it set on low and medium speed to save battery. High speed really sucked the brush head down on the rug and we did not see the need for this speed to get any better pickup ability. This vacuum also replaces using daily Swiffer pads The motor head is a little heavy but using the speed lock improves comfort. Noise on low and medium is quite acceptable. The dust bin fills up quite quickly with dog hair but this did not inhibit dirt pickup - probably due to the hair allowing air to flow past (extra filter). The main floor is about 1200 sq ft and we were able to complete both hardwood and rug on one charge and one dust bin. The plastic dust bin has electrostatic cling so dust adheres to it and I found using my compressor to blow out the bin quite effective - of course not everyone will have this option - the manual says use cold water then allow to dry after each use. We have central vac but see using this easy access vacuum will reduce the need for the central vac to be used as often. We like the detachable wand to be able to do stairs with just the head unit. Lots of attachments for most jobs, but not all the accessories delivered store on the wall mount. The small upholstery brush head and pre-filter cleaner will have to be stored somewhere else. The vacuum uses consumables - where the money is. Pre-filter is suggested to be replaced every 3 months and HEPA filter every year. Extra battery is quite expensive and I could not find any aftermarket clones. Overall four star rating is just because this is new with no long term use experience. Update 12/21: I have just finished installing the wall hanger. What is really a stupid design is that there is no way to hang both power brushes together. If you hang one from the rear mount then it prevents the power head from charging. If you hang one from the power head then the connector pushes out and the charge pins dont contact the charger. It would be perfect if you could hang the power head, tube, and power brush together and still have the battery charge. Ill leave the rating at 4 stars. Update 6/2022: I still like this vacuum. Still able to do 1200 square feet hardwood with two large area rugs on one charge. Middle speed for hardwood, low speed for rugs. You still need to move somewhat speedily to avoid running out of power. Washing the brush rollers and pre-filter is easy. Update 11/05/22: The clip on the motor head that hooks into the dust bin to secure it broke. We use this vacuum every day and it appears the design is weak. The clip should be solid but it is molded into three wings - which makes it a weak link. I found that pulling the head back as you unclip it reduces the bending force on the clip. I will fill that clip with crazy glue on the new unit to reinforce it. Good news is Tineco is replacing the main head unit under warranty. Good service from them with no hassle. Update 4/8/2023: Ive been using the vacuum every day for about a year for dog hair. Another weakness has shown up. A crack developed in the dustbin hook that clips into the main motor body and holds the dustbin to the motor housing. The crack allowed movement in the connection and the dustbin would fall off during vacuuming. These plastic parts are too brittle and do not stand up to repeated stress. Tineco again has stepped up and honored the 2 year warranty and is shipping a new dustbin. The 2 year warranty is necessary to catch these poor design features. Im hoping Tineco will beef of these weak areas.

> 3 dayTenico vac review. Long story short. This is a great vac. Short story long. Let me count the ways. First, the quality of build is excellent and I mean excellent! With a very solid weight and ballanced design the feel and function of this cordless vac from Tineco fulfills everthing you could want in a top of the line Dyson killer. One could even talk about machine beauty with the fine design symmetry that meets the eye at first glance. A work of art perhaps in the realm of electro-machanical conception. See my pictures as these images convey this emotional impluse. But liking what you see does not a perfect purchase make. Power via suction and battery strength is a main attribute of a good cordress vac. And with the push of the max button one could pull the carpet off a wall to wall perimeter nailer with this machine. Add to that the main LED lit power head and you will see a perfect ballanced example of form following function and visa versa. Tineco also bundles 2 high powered lithium ion batteries along with several accessories all housed in a convenient wall caddy. Also note the vac automatically charges while hanging on the wall. No need to plug and un-plug an AC adapter wire. Moreover, the caddy has the ability to auto-charge both batteries at the same time. Like I said the design of this cordless vac package is simply superlative from start to finish. As for actually using the vac. I love it! Whats not to love, if love can be applied to a vacuum cleaner. In my opinion this machine could take the place of a corded vac in most situations. Simply press a release trigger to empty the debris canister. No fuss no muss. This unit picks up everything with no problems including the infamous cat litter. Also of note is the inclusion on a constant-on trigger. One can just sqeeze the auto-on power trigger and let go to stop or engage the unit power. Or one could trigger lock-on switch for convenient, constant power. There is real Hepa filtration as well. Tineco even includes a special Hepa filter cleaning attachedment to easily prolong the use of the Hepa filter. There are so many cool features to this cordless vac system. Im sure I missed one or two. But you get the idea. For under $300.00 with Prime Shipping you can not go wrong in buying this Tenico cordless vac system, where you are buying a whole ballanced cordless system, not just a great cordless vacuum cleaner.

Greater than one weekWhen I first used the vac I was impressed but now I am not happy with this vacuum. It doesn’t have the suction that I would like. I picks up dust prefectly but anything with weight such as peanuts, little pebbles, little pieces cardboard etc. have to keep going over the the items several times to pick up and it sometimes it spit out the items you just picked up from the floor brush. The on /off switch is placed to close to handle snd I’m always hitting it by mistake so then the vac shuts off. That’s a real annoying problem when you are vacuuming. I have wool rugs that shed when vacuuming and the the debris gets stuck around the bagless canister and I have to open up, dump out the debris frequently even though the canister isn’t filled up. So what I’m saying I would not recommend this vac and I thought I did my research when buying thoroughly but it doesn’t meet my standards of quality. Update: July 2022 I have had this vac since March 2022 snd would like to say I didn’t realize there was a button that increases the suction power which has improved the working performance of this product. Even on high it may not pick up everything but it’s better than the low or medium speeds but the handle gets warm from the battery working at high speed.

> 3 dayThe vacuum seemed to work well. Powerful suction and is easy to use but for $259 I expected more than 16 months out of it. Will not buy another and I can not find out how long the warranty was for.

Greater than one weekI also own a Dyson V8 that Ive had for several years but wanted a 2nd handheld and didnt want to pay the Dyson price so I began looking into knockoffs. This one was particularly well reviewed on 3rd party sites so I thought I would try it out. So far I have been impressed. It has gotten dust and dirt out of our rugs that I have already run the Dyson over. It also has an impressively long battery life. The filter cleaning attachment and spare filter that is included are a welcome addition as well. The main con I have noticed is emptying the unit is more difficult. To fully empty the vacuum you need to remove the filter as well, so it can be a two step process. The large floor attachment is perfectly functional, but not as smooth or as tight turning as the equivalent Dyson part. It does have LED lighting which made it easier to see pet hair on my wood floors. My Dyson does not have lighting on the floor attachment so this was an upgrade for me. Also switching out attachments on this unit takes more effort than it does with the Dyson. I had purchased this as a back up or secondary unit, but after a few weeks using it Im considering making it the primary unit and moving the Dyson to back up.

> 3 dayHaving this vacuum is one of the few highlights of my 2020. It made vacuuming a fun activity in this never-ending quarantine life. First of all the vacuum is BEAUTIFUL. The light blue accents plus the crystal clear motor and dustbin, just beautiful. When my husband saw me first using it, he thought it was a toy that I bought. Very quiet, great suction power. Bought one for my parents house and for my one-bed apartment. Works great on the stairs and also perfect for my small apartment. Since I bought it Ive been vacuuming at least a few times a day. Watching the floor become spotless is so satisfying and relaxing. Also love the on/off switch so I dont have to keep pressing the button. Before I found out I could just flick a switch to keep it on, my hand got really sore after a few minutes. The built-in light is a plus since it makes the dust a lot easier to see. When I feel like a break from sitting, I vacuum. A few things I thought could be improved: - An alternative docking system that doesnt require nails in the wall. Didnt want to punch holes on my rented place, so I tried my best with what I had.. with the vacuum resting on the wall and the charging station taped to the wall with damage-free tape. I have to take the battery out to charge, but thats easy. - A more elegant system to empty the dust bin. Its now a bit awkward to empty the bin as you have to first detach the tube and turn the motor head side way. The shape of filter also makes emptying hard as it traps some of the dust. Would be much better if its a straight cylinder in the bin. - The wheels on the floor brush squeaks. - I wish the brush head could be laid flat, to vacuum under the bed. Now I couldnt reach very far under the bed because the brush would come up in the air.

> 3 dayI would really like this but the battery life is horrible! I thought it would get better when I used it the first time but it has only gotten worse. I can’t literally only use it for 2-3 minutes on high before it needs to be recharged. Slightly longer on low speed but there isn’t enough suction on low to do much but dust. I could buy a new battery for $80 but the battery was poor from the beginning. If it wasn’t for the horrible battery I would really like it. It’s lightweight, has good attachments, a light and relatively easy to store. I am so very disappointed. Make a better battery and I might be able to recommend.

> 3 dayI got this to replace a Dustbuster for the kitchen. I didnt want to spend Shark money but wanted the features. I was a little concerned at first, mixed reviews and all. So far, I have been really happy with this vacuum. Easy to use. I wish there was a flatter attachment, like a Dustbuster sucker for it, the sideways one works but I think it would be better if it was flat. **UPDATE** So the vacuum totally came with the attachment I needed. I just hadnt used it yet, just found it today. ** Its been great for the stairs. Really happy about that attachment. I even use it for light vacuuming between heavy vacuum cleaning in the living room. I dont have a good place to put it yet, for attaching it to the wall so that is annoying when it comes to recharge it. And hitting the button 2x to get to the real good suctioning is annoying because lets be honest, who is using those 2 other settings?! It does take a second to kick on when you hit the trigger, this is not that bad, but confusing the first few times. And my kids can use it, not as easily as the Dustbuster but they will learn.

> 3 dayLove this vacuum. I did tons of research and looked at so many stick models before deciding to take a chance on this. First in all fairness I have only used the Dyson version of this a few times at my sisters house. So I am not comparing the two. What I love: the vacuum arrived in 2 days, was beautifully packaged, and was super easy to put together. The wall mount dock is very convenient and when you dock the vacuum it’s not going to fall off. The duel batteries are amazing and being able to charge them both at the same time is a nice touch. That being said, I have not had to switch batteries yet because every time I go to use the vacuum it’s fully charged and I can go through the whole house without killing the battery. The attachment are easy to change and work great. I have all Hardwood floors and I was nervous I would have to buy the other soft head floor attachment right away based on other reviews. Not true. The multitask head works amazing on hard floors. It picks up hair, crumbs, and seems to leave my floors cleaner than my canister vac. Also it works amazing on low setting. I only put it on high when doing base boards etc. This vac is lightweight and I love that you can lock the on switch while using this. If you pivot the head to the side while going under furniture it lays completely flat and I can get all the way under my very low profile sofa. I have had this about a week now and I am overly impressed with its performance. For reference I have a 1400 square foot house. Much larger homes you may need to empty the bin mid way. Worth it I think for the value you get. The last thing is the filter and led lights that are awesome when going under beds and furniture. Lights up everything so you can get every last dust bunny. This vac has an amazing filter system and I love having the ability to clean the filter after each use. No particles escape this device. Please note: no vacuum will perform well if you do not clean the filter. This device comes with 2. Since I have only had it a week I will update this post in a few months to advise how the batteries hold up etc. happy shopping!
