> 3 dayI like the switch a lot, however like all devices of this type it need firmware update to work correctly. Once I updated the firmware it is working fine and I love the power monitoring option since I use it with room oil heaters. I would recommend it, but also make sure you buy WiFi switch with larger rating ie 1800W for a heater that is less than 1800W. This ensures you will not burn the WiFi plug with overloading it.

> 3 dayI missed the return window by 3 days so I’m stuck with it. It does not give you live power consumption so that sucks. Sometimes updates every few min standing next to it, other times take 15-30 min or more. I’ll prob throw these in the garage sale bin and try another brand......

> 3 dayGot them working with my Android phone in less than five minutes. For each device you get to see milliamps, Power in watts, voltage and total kWh. By default the devices are switched off when the power is connected so a power outage will leave all of the devices off. Their technical support showed me how to set up an automation in the app so that if the device is switched off, the app turns it on. One other con: If you click on a device and select statistics, you only see the current month.

> 3 dayI picked this up because it could handle the 1500 wattage of my bathroom space heater. We set the heater to automatically turn on with the alarm clock. The best part is I was able to use the app so the heater will always turn off after 30 minutes. If its turned on manually or via the app, itll auto shut off after 30 minutes.

> 3 dayI was pleased with these; easily configured to work w/ google home... working well for months... love the power usage monitoring... yet we had a power outage - for 3 hours... and now I need to completely reprogram them ! That alone is annoying enough that it would prevent me from purchasing more of these, and looking for a smarter option that doesnt require re-provisioning after power outage .

> 3 dayArrived quickly. Downloaded iPhone App, discovered plug and came on-line quickly. Alexa service could immediately control. The iPhone app works well as a remote control, too. Response time is very fast. Easy to move and re-configure, change the name, etc. I ordered as a stop gap to run a sump-pump with a faulty switch - which is why I got the heavy duty plug - and it worked exactly as I had hoped.

> 3 dayLove that it doesnt cover a second outlet! I dont use the TopGreener app but Kenhub or something instead and it works well. I wish I cold just have a widget to tap to turn on/off switches without it opening the app again or if I can have it for less than 4-5 smart plugs (the widget is big). I havent tried linking it to Alexa yet because Im lazy and its in a different room. I use it for a light so I can get into bed without tripping over things and dying.

> 3 dayThis TopGreener smart outlet plug helps me remotely power my troublesome furnace OFF and ON from anywhere. My ten year old Bryant high-efficiency furnace has an intermittent problem. When the thermostat calls for heat, the furnace does a startup cycle of running a purge blower, then igniting the burner. The burner doesnt always ignite and the furnace shuts down. To make it try again, the power switch must be turned OFF, then ON. Once in awhile, this has to be done twice. We have had a service tech out three times, but the furnace always behaves when hes here. Last winter, we were overseas, visiting family. I checked our smart thermostat and saw it calling for heat, but the house was dropping below 60 degrees. Several times, our daughter had to go to our house and turn the switch OFF, then ON to reset the furnace. I needed to find a way to do this from anywhere. Smart switches that I found seemed to be intended to control lights and/or didnt have the capacity to run a gas furnace. I needed to find a smart device with a 15 amp capacity. I chose the TopGreener smart outlet rated to operate appliances up to 15 amps. I also wanted to be able to bypass the smart device, just in case there were any problems. The photos show what was done. The smart outlet plugs into a single receptacle that is always powered. The power cord from the smart outlet is connected to the three-way switch. The Common terminal of the three-way switch is connected to the bottom switch to power the furnace. The remaining three-way switch screw connects to the source power. Thus the three-way switch will power the furnace from the smart outlet or constant power. The TopGreener Android app works very well. The only issue I had was trying to initially pair the smart outlet. The paper instruction sheet packed with the smart plug is correct and worked. After set-up, it was easy to rename the smart outlet. It works well with Alexa, but the instructions were a little confusing to me. But I confuse easily. The ultimate test was when I contacted a friend across the ocean in Guam, and asked him to install the app and try to power my furnace ON and OFF. It worked!

> 3 dayIf youre looking for plugs that you can flash with Tasmota in order to get them out of the cloud and use them with a platform like Home Assistant, I can confirm that I was able to do it with these, purchased on February 9, 2021 from the TopGreener store here on Amazon. If you need to know how to get started, check out digiblurDIY on YouTube. He pretty much walks you through every step, no opening the unit or soldering involved. I couldnt be happier.
