> 3 dayI got these for energy monitoring some appliances. My biggest gripe is that they default to off after a power outage, you have to keep an eye on it if using one on a fridge.

Greater than one weekWhat I was looking for from the Energy Monitor is that it drew power from 10:32:15 to 10:32:23 (e.g. 8 seconds). And then again between 13:32:15 to 13:32:28, and then again between 20:32:15 to 20:32:28. I’m more interested that it DID draw power – when - and for how long - as opposed to how much TOTAL power it’s consumed in a day - which is what this does. E.g. Your computer sucked 20kW today – BAM – it’s got that if that’s what you want. I’ve never lived anywhere with a sump pump before and it’s been running a lot lately. Just looking to be sure it runs ‘sometimes’ without making a trip to the basement every day… I had an ice block of the outlet outside recently, and was probably REALLY close to flooding my basement. Woke up to it running and splashing because it couldn’t discharge with the outside ice in the way. If it’s run for more than 15 seconds… I HAVE A PROBLEM, and that’s what I’m trying to solve. So this is great for what it says it will do… and for that it gets high marks, I probably just read too much into it and will probably have to program my own IFTTT ;).

> 3 dayI bought these specifically to load Tasmota on them and control them via Home Assistant. And, they did not disappoint! I had them up and running in Home Assistant in minutes. And, they work perfectly.

> 3 dayThe outlet works just like any other smart outlet out there. I recommend setting it up with the Smart Life app as it is the most universally compatible. I have things setup so that when it is time to wake up, my lights turn in and my desktop boots up. You do not need to work with electrical wires, the max wattage is the same as the outlet you plug it into and it is compatible with ittt, Google, and Alexa! The icing on the cake is that it has an accurate energy meter built in. It doesnt update often enough for you to do Gamer Nexus total system power charts but you can get a good idea of your systems energy requirements. My roommates and I have a challenge to see who can use the least energy with our gaming rigs. Last month I used 36kw while they use 72kw! Every little bit helps. I only wish I could measure appliances as well.

> 3 dayI got the two pack of this on a deal. it came out to about $20 each. I like that the set up was easy. The feel of the product seems sturdy and heavy duty. I like that it is 15A and I can run a small space heater on it during the winter. I use it to turn on a lamp in the living room while I am away to let people think that someone is home. The only thing I dont like about it is the size. It is much bigger than I thought it would be. I can see how its size would be a problem if the outlet is near furniture. But once you put it on the wall, you leave it there and you dont think about it anymore.

> 3 dayOverall I think TopGreener makes good products. Unfortunately TopGreener doesnt provide easy way to contact support to get help. Getting the plugs connected was easy. Then I set these up to, for example, turn off at 8:30 pm and they always turn off at 8:20 pm; no idea why. I double checked the timezone and the date/time on the phone, but nothing.

Greater than one weekI have a dehumidifier in my basement and I was searching for a plug that I could monitor remotely to see if it was running or not. I didnt need the ability to remotely switch on or off (which this does, as does hundreds of other plugs), but specifically needed something to tell me if power was running to the unit (meaning it was on and doing its job). Out of the box, this unit worked perfectly and was super easy to install/download the app. Its been flawless for months now and I finally figured out what was turning off my dehumidifier... it was set to a certain percentage, and when reached, it would shut off. But the problem was that it never turned back on when humidity rose. With this smart plug, I was first able to recognize that no power was running through it, and then was able to turn it on (which I never thought I would use!). Worked perfectly. Hoping this helps someone who has a similar use case as its pretty narrow since it doesnt really use all the features of a normal smart plug.

> 3 dayAwesome item. I got these mainly for their power monitoring capabilities. Accuracy is pretty close to my Kill-A-Watt. I was able to set these up with the app on my android phone pretty easily. Cant beat them for the price of $10/each. Bonus that the company appears to be based in the USA (Irvine, CA). --My only issue with adding these devices to the android app was the lack of feedback when it fails. I was entering the wrong wifi password and the app would just eventually count to 100% and fail. Would be nice to have displayed why and/or where in the process it failed. --I decided to test these against my Kill-a-Watt p4450 monitor. Measured voltage was the same most of the time as my Kill-a-Watt (within .4 volts on 120 volt line otherwise, probably due to the syncing delay with the app servers). I used a small load of a 24 watt incandescent bulb. Both monitors matched at 200 milliamps, although the TOPGREENER would frequently bounce up to 412 milliamps for a split second. The power reading in watts would, however, hold constant at about 24. Im not really sure what that is about but overall Id say it is pretty accurate. --Power usage of the device itself seems to be about .5 -.6 watts when the plug is off and about 1 - 1.2 watts when on. Seems very reasonable to me. On a side note: it would be nice if TOPGREENER would produce a version of this focused on the power monitoring aspect (mainly without the on/off relay).

> 3 dayWorking all over the house with no booster in the router. worked on the fridge till I pushed it back against the wall. Fixed that by plugging it into a power strip on the side of the fridge. Freezer and torch on back porch no problem. Power usage very useful info. Probably need to replace the fridge. I have the app on my phone and tablet. the tablet seems more responsive than the phone when you touch an icon. I have 11 of these in use now. most of them the square ones. two fit in a wall socket. The 10 amp rating has been no issue even on the fridge or freezer.

> 3 dayI highly recommend Top Greener’s TGWF115APM. I use mine for the floor lamp that sits on the opposite side of room. Before buying this outlet, I would have to get up and manually turn off the light. There have also been times where I fall asleep before turning off the light. That’s when the time schedule control comes in handy. I set it up so it turns off every night at 11pm. Installing the app was a piece of cake. The WiFi pairing process to my Amazon Alexa took less than a minute. Didn’t even have to read the instructions that were provided. Again, I would recommend this product for anyone that’s trying to “smart up” their home.
