> 3 dayUPDATE in 2022: I have version 2 and still like this one. BUT...one year later and the cooling plate heats up where its not supposed to. When I want a blast of cool, I feel hot plastic on my neck. This is very unfortunate as it worked great prior. At this point, its only useful as a fan with the cooling plate off. ORGINAL REVIEW: I took this on a 10-day trip planning to return it after trying it outdoors and not feeling cooler. I’m so glad I kept it. Pros: Stylish Comfortable Quality *rattling noise on occasion. Shake to fix. [Update: The replacement didnt have this issue] Not too loud Cooling plate Great for indoors and shaded areas Great in hot cars until the A/C kicks in Acts as a defogger for shield masks Long-lasting battery if on low Cons: I didn’t feel anything from this on a hot day outside Rattling fan noise on occasion straight out of the box [Update: The replacement didnt have this issue] Cracked near the cooling plate. Returned it for an exchange. Key Moments During My Vacation with This: At times my body temperature rose while seated indoors. I kept this around my neck all day so I was able to just turn it on briefly. It didn’t disturb anyone. When getting In and out of vehicles that needed time to cool, this served me well. On my trip in the airport and back, I had a face shield and mask on. Were it not for this, my mask would’ve fogged. The airline didn’t object. I put it through TSA check and all was well. Update: I’ve worn this at a Broadway show also. It made it through security check there and wasn’t a disturbance. Once my body cooled, I turned it off. Also another update: I noticed a crack (pictured) 3 days after the return window closed. I was able to return it via a call to Amazon. I wondered if as we are looking at cooler temps whether I wanted to purchase this again as I know it’s overpriced. But I did because I like it. Maybe one day someone will invent one that’s properly functional as a portable, wearable cooling system. I’ve yet to find a viable one. Conclusion: This is expensive but worthwhile IF using indoors, in shaded and/or not very hot and humid areas. If it’s for the latter, I don’t recommend it.

12-06-2025Soooo I never got my first order. But I am working that one out with Amazon. But for work purposes, I needed one of these like yesterday! It finally came in and I actually recieved this package to my relief! And I ammmmmm suppperrrrr satisfied with my purchase!!! Amazing quality! Wish the battery would last longer , but it does the job plus some…idk how I ever did my job in this desert heat with out one of these before. The fans are excellent and very quiet! This new cooling tech that they have that rests on the back of ur neck is next level!!! I be popped it on with the fans and I was chillin…but then I poppped on the cooling plate and I was floored on how cold it got and i could literally feel myself cooling down for how hot I was in the heat. If u don’t have one and u work out side in the sun or work in a space that does not have good ventilation, this is the ticket item for you! I am definitely coming back and ordering one for my close co workers soooooooon!!

> 3 dayI was thinking about returning this, but after using it today I realized I really do like it and the battery life is pretty long. The only thing when the packaging came in the plastic was over the box, but it wasn’t on the case and I didn’t get my little sleeve bag to keep it protected but I really do like it so I’m gonna keep it but I wish I would’ve got my little sleep protector because it cost $149 plus tax. I feel like this one was one that they already had sent back.

Greater than one weekI got this because I got tired of fooling around with cheaper alternatives (Ill admit getting my tax refund helped in the decision). I have no tolerance for the heat. In fact, Ive decided this year that outdoors is bad and I have no reason to go out there (not even with this as protection). As other reviewers have noted, this doesnt feel like AC. It feels like a cool washcloth on your neck, minus the moisture. Which is still preferable to the cheaper fans that only blow existing warm air on you. Its quiet enough to wear while I work on the computer. This might seem a bit overpriced, but it is very heavy and well made, with what feels like ceramic and metal rather than plastic. It feels like an appliance, not an accessory. I still feel its a bit overpriced, but when youve had it with the heat, money feels like less of a consideration.

> 3 dayI live in Az! I will give u my opinion. I did my test during 110° dry heat & 105° with 45% humidity & inside house @ 77°. I bought this device because I work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. This does its job cooling the back of your neck in my test, sometimes it was to cold. If its not positioned right then it wont work well so yes I have to move it frequently while working and sweating to get the full affects. The fans, 1 on each side, draws the ambient air through and out the top and bottom but the bottom slots get plugged by my shirt most of the time so the air travels through the top more. So yes when I was testing @110° it was blowing hot air on my face but better then no breeze at all and I like a breeze past 100°. Fast charging!!! Run time is true, and I dont use level 3 much but very quiet for a device like this on your neck. I bought this device for outdoor use, I dont use indoors but it works great. I dont use while in dusty conditions because it will just blow more dust on your face. Overall Im impressed with the technology and price. It has room for improvement but thats a good thing. There is a new version but I think I prefer the cold on back of neck instead of sides and didnt need the heating part. So I purchased this style and will continue to use it for what it was designed for. Thanks.

> 3 dayI have a health condition that makes me intolerant to heat. I live in a southern state, and being outside for even a minute in the summer can make me feel dizzy and weak. A few more minutes outside will make my skin turn bright red and feel like it’s burning. Even the heat from bright sun through the car window will affect my face. I bought the Torras Coolify on Prime Day, and I’m so glad I did. While I haven’t tried it outside for extended periods of time yet, it makes running errands much more bearable. I use the a/c (cooling plate) feature before the car’s a/c kicks in, then I switch to just the fan when my car is cool enough. I turn the cooling plate back on when I need to exit the car. It lasted about 4 days worth of errands and short walks outside before I needed to recharge it. I know there are versions without the cooling plate, and to me it is worth the extra money. Otherwise, the air blowing on your face is just room temperature.

Greater than one weekSo I have used my new coolify for about 3 weeks now in very hot humid conditions. I do lawn care so I put mine to the test. The first use it was very hot 93 degrees plus humidity was high. I had it on cool mode with fan on high. The battery died when I finished mowing on my lawn tractor which took about an hour 45 minutes. The next day it lasted over 3 hours using cool mode medium fan. The 3rd experience it was cooler outside and cloudy so I used mainly fan mode medium speed and cool mode while trimming. I tried mowing without it after using it and there is a big difference. Although I didnt feel like I was in house ac as some seem think this would or should when they think air conditioning....this does keep neck cool and just in fan mode keeps air moving on sides of your head. I do wish the battery lasted alot longer but it is way better then I even expected. One thing is I wish there was some sort of way to keep it more firm around neck as way u move doing lawns it tends to slide to the side and have adjust now and then. I do like it and may purchase one or 2 in future so I have a couple charged up ready to go lasting all day. Longest it lasted me was about 5 hours on a charge alternating could mode and fan only no higher than medium speed

> 3 dayPurchased this for an upcoming trip to Disneyworld, which is many times hot and super humid. Loads better than the plastic fan-on-a-string that weve used the past 6 years at the parks. Purchased 4 of them (1 for each family member). Like that it has 3 fan settings, the super cold back of the neck cooler, and has no moving blade. I have long hair and it was not an issue, another plus. Well have to see how it works, if the battery life lives up to the description and how well it works in the Florida heat. Updates to come...
