> 3 dayPurchased this for an upcoming trip to Disneyworld, which is many times hot and super humid. Loads better than the plastic fan-on-a-string that weve used the past 6 years at the parks. Purchased 4 of them (1 for each family member). Like that it has 3 fan settings, the super cold back of the neck cooler, and has no moving blade. I have long hair and it was not an issue, another plus. Well have to see how it works, if the battery life lives up to the description and how well it works in the Florida heat. Updates to come...

> 3 dayI purchased this because we planned a trip to Florida in July. I run really hot all the time and I needed something to help with the heat and humidity. A previous commenter mentioned it’s not helpful in the outside heat and I have to agree. Walking around in 90 heat, the fans didn’t help but the cooling plate did a little (which is better than nothing). It was most helpful when we would go into a store, enter an indoor ride line or a restaurant. Granted, there was air conditioning in these places but even I don’t cool off in air conditioning, it takes me a lot longer than the average person to cool down so it was really helpful. It was super light weight and comfortable to wear. It’s quiet too on the lower settings. It fit in my crossbody bag. Be careful, twice the power button must have been hit inside my bag and turned on for i don’t know how long. The battery never died while using and I used it a lot. Since I’ve been home, I used it once already just around the house. I’m keeping it, I love it.

> 3 dayI was stoked to have this for a recent trip to Nashville. It did well on the flight on Sunday and dealing with the insane heat and humidity of Nashville in July on Sunday night. Monday I put it on to wear around the conference at the Gaylord and by the middle of the day the right side stopped working and just got insanely hot. I tried to wear it just for the left side to work but I was honestly afraid the right side was going to catch on fire it was getting so hot. Thank God I brought my As Seen on TY Arctic fan for backup or I would have melted that week.

> 3 dayGot this fan to keep me cool around the office, and when I am doing yard work. The new office dont have any air flow especially when the door is close. The cooling mode is also great when you first get in the car before the AC really kicks in. Also great if its less than 90° outside and you need to get some yard work done like mowing the lawn. If its too hot outside, its just going to blow hot air in your face. However, the cooling mode does help while its on. For the purpose I bought it for, I am happy with the product. The only issue I have is it not having something there to keep it on your shoulder. I would love to have it on me while I go jogging in the morning. It sits pretty comfortably on my shoulder when I am sitting or walking around. Some sort of strap or a device that would keep it secure on you would be great.

> 3 dayI just want to preface this by saying I love this thing. That being said, sometimes it grabs at my chin hair. It doesnt happen often, just wanted to throw that out there

> 3 dayI have a health condition that makes me intolerant to heat. I live in a southern state, and being outside for even a minute in the summer can make me feel dizzy and weak. A few more minutes outside will make my skin turn bright red and feel like it’s burning. Even the heat from bright sun through the car window will affect my face. I bought the Torras Coolify on Prime Day, and I’m so glad I did. While I haven’t tried it outside for extended periods of time yet, it makes running errands much more bearable. I use the a/c (cooling plate) feature before the car’s a/c kicks in, then I switch to just the fan when my car is cool enough. I turn the cooling plate back on when I need to exit the car. It lasted about 4 days worth of errands and short walks outside before I needed to recharge it. I know there are versions without the cooling plate, and to me it is worth the extra money. Otherwise, the air blowing on your face is just room temperature.

05-06-2025Perfect for cooling down after exercising or walking along the Vegas strip - air flow on 3 speeds is great and really appreciate the A/C section at the back of the neck. However, its not actually a mini air conditioner because the air that the fans blow is whatever air is around you - so if its warm air, you will get warm air and if cool air, then it will blow cool air. I was hoping for cold air in a warm/hot area. - but not so. However, the A/C portion is a small strip on the next band which lays on your neck and turns nice and cold - so that is the A/C for the unit. Love that the air flows from the the sides of the unit as opposed to one section at the bottom, like most of the fans. Also love that my hair does not get caught up in the blades, like has happened with other fans rendering them useless afterwards. Frankly, I would have given this 5 stars if it were truly a portable AC unit and if it didnt vibrate so much on my collar bone when on the 2nd and 3rd speed settings, but it certainly runs a close 2nd.

> 3 dayTesting 1: So far so good. They are 100% better than the neck fans, I can honestly say that, the force of the fan win top and bottom are great kinda loud even on the lowest level. The cooling at the back of the neck does actually cool that you can feel, but, yes there is a but. The battery, motor that drives the fan and cool this device is on the outside of the cool plate that touches your neck, and it gets warm, not hot, but warm so when you tilt your head back you feel the warmth of the battery. I have not tried it on one of those days when you go outside and the heat almost takes your breath, I just got them today. So stay tuned for future updates. Testing 2: I must have to say that in testing #1 I mentioned that the battery gets warm, but in day 2 of my test, it does get warm but I am looking past that and taking it out of the equation. I was hot and sweating and I had on one of those neck fans that hang on a string, and it was not getting the job done so I grabbed my COOLIFY, and the difference between is night and day. It is not weighty around my neck, actually if not for the wind blowing cooling my upper and lower body I would almost forget that I have it on. The battery life is good, I havent timed it yet, that and value for the money is for day 3, but I can tell you now that this will be money well spent, after todays use.

> 3 dayIt fits right to your neck and has the ability to change how it fits to your neck. It has fans facing up and down and a cooking in the back it’s incredible. I run hot and this by far was worth every Penny!!!!

> 3 dayUpdate: After reading my review, Torras reached out to me. Gwen, the customer service representative, went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied and stayed in touch. She is a big asset to your company. Giving a straight forward and honest review, Im not sure about this neck fan/ac unit. While the fan blows at a moderate pace, I cant say much about the cooling/ac aspect. While the plates does get cool (I would even say cold) this unit does not keep me cool. I would say that this unit is a little over rated and a lot over priced. I think I could have gotten the same results from a similar unit which is priced much, much lower.
