> 3 dayUPDATE in 2022: I have version 2 and still like this one. BUT...one year later and the cooling plate heats up where its not supposed to. When I want a blast of cool, I feel hot plastic on my neck. This is very unfortunate as it worked great prior. At this point, its only useful as a fan with the cooling plate off. ORGINAL REVIEW: I took this on a 10-day trip planning to return it after trying it outdoors and not feeling cooler. I’m so glad I kept it. Pros: Stylish Comfortable Quality *rattling noise on occasion. Shake to fix. [Update: The replacement didnt have this issue] Not too loud Cooling plate Great for indoors and shaded areas Great in hot cars until the A/C kicks in Acts as a defogger for shield masks Long-lasting battery if on low Cons: I didn’t feel anything from this on a hot day outside Rattling fan noise on occasion straight out of the box [Update: The replacement didnt have this issue] Cracked near the cooling plate. Returned it for an exchange. Key Moments During My Vacation with This: At times my body temperature rose while seated indoors. I kept this around my neck all day so I was able to just turn it on briefly. It didn’t disturb anyone. When getting In and out of vehicles that needed time to cool, this served me well. On my trip in the airport and back, I had a face shield and mask on. Were it not for this, my mask would’ve fogged. The airline didn’t object. I put it through TSA check and all was well. Update: I’ve worn this at a Broadway show also. It made it through security check there and wasn’t a disturbance. Once my body cooled, I turned it off. Also another update: I noticed a crack (pictured) 3 days after the return window closed. I was able to return it via a call to Amazon. I wondered if as we are looking at cooler temps whether I wanted to purchase this again as I know it’s overpriced. But I did because I like it. Maybe one day someone will invent one that’s properly functional as a portable, wearable cooling system. I’ve yet to find a viable one. Conclusion: This is expensive but worthwhile IF using indoors, in shaded and/or not very hot and humid areas. If it’s for the latter, I don’t recommend it.

> 3 dayI purchased this in March based on a friend having one that felt great! I tested it upon receiving it worked great left it in the box until last week when the temperature would be 90 plus degrees daily. Upon trying to turn it on it wouldnt so I thought the battery was dead. I charged it tried it again it wasnt turning on I realized the button was stuck. It cooled great for the first 20 to 30 minutes then the air got warm. So I turned it off for a few hours tried it again it was still blowing warm basic fan air and will no longer work on the highest setting. Reached out to support and theyre asking me for a video to prove it doesnt cool. What kind of video proves that? Will not purchase again from this company! Its not worth the risk! $150 for something that didnt even work twice is like throwing money out of the window. UPDATE!! I did get in contact with support the issue was there was a misunderstanding. They did send out a replacement the very day once they realized there was an issue with the button. The new one has a good working button and fan. I do now realize that it will never because cold as I hoped for because of the humidity in Texas. But that neck cooling unit is like magic! I would recommend this item.

> 3 dayYes I am a little upset at paying $150 for one that acts exactly the same as the $35 one! If you get the fan really cold to begin with meaning a metal plate on the back of it that touches your neck… Then it works a lot better and it’s actually cold… But otherwise it moves air just like all the rest of them do… I bought a $35 one to begin with and then bought this one to see if it was any better and apparently I like wasting my money lol that does it mean I won’t use it because I will … I live in South Texas where it is so hot and humid it’s necessary that’s for sure but I would never never pay $150 for it again!

> 3 dayThis thing has literally been a lifesaver. It has kept me able to work through many a hot summer day, even though my work does involve conditions that it is not recommended for. Humorously enough, my few complaints are not related to perceived flaws from using it outside its recommended parameters but from issues with compatibility with my face: I have a beard. It is a beard grabber. The fans have a tendency of drawing in my beard and tugging hairs. Nothing too bad, but enough to be annoying at times. The second issue is that it does not come apart easily. Since tangled beard hairs can jam the fans and bog down the motors, I periodically need to pop open the chambers to clean it out. Needing to preform said maintenance doesnt bother me. However, the process of doing so does. The only way to do this is to remove the aluminum guards, typically resulting in warping said guards in the process. I hope future models take cleaning and maintenance to mind and have guards that can be screwed off. Other than these beard-based issues, this product is stellar. Battery life is enough to get me through my eight hour day if I ration the power well, it is light enough not to strain my neck, and its held up after a year of doing landscape work. I would readily recommend it to anyone who simply needs to cool down a couple degrees.

> 3 dayI got it because I work outside in the south. I still sweat profusely but it makes me not wanna kill myself. Very durable too. Doesnt actually blow out cool air. The metal plate gets cold on your neck though. About to get one for my mom!!

> 3 dayI have only had this a few days, but so far, it’s pretty wonderful!! Totally expected it to be subpar, but is maybe the best purchase I’ve made in a while. Works like it’s advertised. Might have to buy a few more of these. Definitely recommend this!!

> 3 dayBought this for a Europe trip from the states. Used it on the flights, subways, and trains. I was nervous about the price, but now that I’ve used the item I recommend it even at this price point. Although I’ve never purchased a cheaper model/brand so I don’t have experience there. The sound was not noticeable to others around me in the situations mentioned. I usually ran it on the 2nd speed. No one looked at me funny while using it… looks like I’m just wearing headphones. The cooling plate worked as described. Held the charge for decent lengths of time and easy to recharge. Great when I was wearing a face mask to keep cool. I’ll always be traveling with this from now on. My husband liked to use it as well. Great for crowded, stuffy situations.

> 3 dayI dont have a lot to compare with since I tried this and the Coolify 2. I prefer this over the Coolify 2 since this can open up vs wrapping tightly around my neck like the Coolify 2. The cool plate works well. Its nice ice cold but will definitely cool you with the fan on. I use this while im working in my office when i dont have the AC on. The weight isnt too bad and can be worn maybe an hour or 2 at a time. Overall, I do like even though its priced higher than most neck fans on the market.

> 3 dayI love this. Definitely worth the extra money. I bought a cheaper one frist but just blows hot air. This one blows cool air and the extra metal piece that gets cold on your neck is great.
