Greater than one weekThe product works pretty good. Would have given it 5 stars if it was a true air conditioner. The fan uses the air around you to cool you off, so if you are outside and its hot it blows warm air, if youre inside it feels more like an air conditioner cooling you off.

> 3 dayAfter looking at a ton of neck fans and reading the reviews, I came across this bad boy. More expensive than the counter products by a fair margin but with the active heat sync/cooling on the back of the neck it was worth every single penny! I used it for five days walking around all of the Disney parks and it worked like a champ to keep me cooler and way less annoyed about being all sweaty. Other reviews are correct in that the battery will not last very long if using on full blast with cooling constantly. My solution to that was to bring a power brick with me and every time I was in a ride line that FINALLY made it from outside to inside, I just plugged that sucker in and let it recharge for the next run/walk to the next looooonnnng ride line. Seriously saved my kids and companions from dealing with me being a huge grouch! Worth the price! Bring a battery pack to recharge when not out in the heat.

Greater than one weekWhoever designed this thing definitely hates men with long beards. My beard hair keeps getting plucked away by the many crevasses and unpolished seams this device has. At first, it was a tad annoying. Now I feel a genuine fear of getting plucked when I least expect it. With that said, Here are my pros and cons. Pros: 1-The AC mode is pleasant and effective. 2-Lightweight and comfy. You forget you are wearing it unless of course, the demon that lives inside wakes up hungry and decides to feast on your beard hair while savoring on your pained screams. 3-Relatively quiet on low speed. Cons: 1-Many unpolished seams and holes which is a pain if you have long beard. But even if you don’t, it makes it look a bit cheap. 2-No bigger battery option. 3-Loud on medium to high setting. 4-The cooling surface area could be a lot Larger and cooler. 5-AC mode disengages after only 30 minutes. You can then it back on. But that will probably be unkind to your battery and it’s life. 6-Too expensive for what it does. Icing a towel and wrapping it around your neck will achieve similar results. Suggestions: Double the batter life. Double duration of AC mode. Use softer edges so they hair doesn’t snag.

> 3 daySo the people that complained about this are nuts. I’m a nurse and run around all day long. My face and neck get hot and then I get sweaty especially with a mask on. Wish I knew about this long ago. So it isn’t going to AC your whole body. If you are expecting that don’t buy it. But since I have purchased a cheaper neck fan in the past I noticed the back of the neck would get really hot making me hotter. In steps this product. The cold spot on the back of neck was a game changer. My only complaint is I wish it would stay charged longer, BUT with it on high and the cold spot it does last the full two hours and it does charge quickly. So it does what it says! Worth every penny!

> 3 dayMy husband rolls his eyes every time I get something like this but boy did he have to eat some crow! I suffer from hot flashes throw this around your neck and it is a life saver. We also live in the Deep South very hot and humid and some days we work in buildings with no air and have used these little portable air conditioners the last few weeks and even my rolling eyes husband said “These make a huge difference.” Hubby has been showing these off to clients, neighbors and friends and everyone he shows said they are getting one. The cooling plate on the neck is something really special, cooling just the back of your neck really helps cool down your entire body. I will say I have long hair and the portable air conditioner has tried to suck in my hair but it was not bad, did not rip my hair out I just have to make sure my hair stays behind my shoulder while wearing or a clip would be perfect. *Note the case in the picture is a separate item and is not included with the portable air conditioner.

Greater than one weekThis neck fan stopped working on one side and I had only had it for 7 months (outside of the warranty). I contacted the company and all they could offer me was 10%off of the new version which cost a whopping $250. But dont tell anyone because thats an employee discount that they are not supposed to shared with anyone. NO SIR, NO THANK YOU, I WISH I WOULD GIVE YALL ANOTHER RED CENT. Only for it to brake a year later. IM GOOD. This neck fan is very heavy around the neck but that didnt bother me, only until the battery died. Then it made me even hotter. The air blows up your neck and the sides of my face. It was not as effective as the neck fans that blows air towards my face. The cooling system is nice but kills the battery, after that, the fan is useless (4hrs tops). If you dont have the huge, bulky case to store the fan in, you can risk breaking it. Its not ideal for someone who does not have a desk job that can easily access the case at all times, once the battery dies. The fan last longer if you dont use the ac part, but once the fan dies (6hrs), it feels like a hot heavy weight being carried around the neck. So if you dont have the case on your person, you have to choose between wearing the hot weight around your neck or risk breaking it. Its a nice concept but its too delicate and too expensive for what you get compared to cheaper neck fans. I still have no idea why one side of mine stopped working. All I wanted was a replacement, since its been last than a year. But I will not buy another.

> 3 dayI bought it for my wife, she absolutely loves it. But the battery life seems short. We were at our sons baseball game which is about 2 hours. And it shut down before the game was over. I have something similar but cost way less and mine was running perfectly fine. And mine was same concept neck cooling plate and vent around the neck band.

> 3 dayI was stoked to have this for a recent trip to Nashville. It did well on the flight on Sunday and dealing with the insane heat and humidity of Nashville in July on Sunday night. Monday I put it on to wear around the conference at the Gaylord and by the middle of the day the right side stopped working and just got insanely hot. I tried to wear it just for the left side to work but I was honestly afraid the right side was going to catch on fire it was getting so hot. Thank God I brought my As Seen on TY Arctic fan for backup or I would have melted that week.

> 3 dayI get hot, in a sweaty, uncomfortable, are you ok? kind of way. I saw a lady who was, likely, in her third trimester of pregnancy in a store wearing a neck fan. Typical hot summer, and she was likely overly hot with the pregnancy. Been there. Not fun. But her neck fan was an awesome idea, and, where do you go to find something thats not likely in a store nearby? Well, Amazon! My search showed that there were a lot of neck fans to choose from, so I needed to find features that I liked. I thought a fan was nice, but then this unit was also an air conditioner with a cooling plate on the back. That seemed intriguing, and possibly worth the higher price. I could return the item, so I decided to purchase with little to lose. I read reviews and found that most were positive; the negative reviews seemed to be more user issues or misunderstandings of product features. I received the item and found it came with a soft slipcover case and charging cord. I charged it up and read the directions. After charging I turned on the unit. The unit starts up with a low fan, with each time pressing the button the fan increases: first low, then medium, then high, then off. Each fan setting was nice, though I felt that low was very comfortable. Then I turned on the air conditioner or cooling plate on the neck nape section. To turn on the cooling plate, I turn on the unit then hold down the button to turn on the cooling plate. I found that reaching the button while the unit was on wasnt comfortable for me. The button is in a suitable place, and I use the L-R directions to put the unit on my left and right sides, but I find its easier for me to remove the unit to turn it off and on. Itd be awesome if the unit could be controlled with a smartphone/bluetooth. Turning on the cooling plate and setting it on my neck, I can instantly feel the cold plate, and it feels soooooooo nice! I dont know how I can measure to cool down by 18°F in 3 second, but I believe it. I really get hot and flushed sometimes, and I turn this on and turn on the cool plate. Its cooling me down *as soon as* I put it on. It does work and it works *fast*! I like that the fan is bladeless, so my longer hair does not get tangled up on this unit. There are three things Im not liking about this unit: 1) I would like the cooling plate on without the fan; 2) I would like to have the battery last longer; and 3) I would like to have the fan be a little lower/adjustable as to air direction. As for 1), the product questions, the manufacturer addresses this issue, saying the two work together. As for 2), I really havent had the battery die on me. I didnt address battery life, but, with the cooling plate, I understand it only lasts about TWO HOURS. I dont use it that long, so battery life just isnt an issue for me! As for 3), Im still on the fence as to whether this is an issue for me or not. If Im hot, the air is helpful to provide some air movement around my face/head to cool me off. I suppose itd be nice to be able to adjust where the air flows on the unit somewhat, but, ultimately, this is something that Im okay with because Im highly satisfied with the unit. So, all in all, theres some negative reviews on this product, and the price point is higher for it, which is another detraction. But, my experience with this unit is that it works fantastic and does what it says. I am not sure if I (yet) get hot flashes, but this unit cools me down when I get overheated. I dont use it at the gym/workout, as Im not sure how it could handle my sweaty workouts, but Ive been tempted to try it! I also dont use it all the time, so I have not challenged the battery life, but, really, my use of this product wont be to test its limits. As for rating it for travel: I havent traveled with it, yet, but I intend to use it the next time I travel. All in all, this product does what it says it does. I love it so much, I am tempted to buy the Coolify 2 since it has two cooling plates and can provide heat, too. This product is worth it!

> 3 dayI would like to return this item as it did not accomplish even a 10% threshold of what the description reports thus unit can do. I regret making this purchase and this company has disables the return feature somehow. Ive never written a bad review before but this time I am and it is well deserved/ Update ... Torras staff Andrew reached out to me with genuine concern for my troubles. I feel much better about Torras as a responsible company that cares for its customers. This device, the concept of it is so cool snd has so much potential and I feel Andrew and Torras Company need our feedback snd also our encouragement to take these ideas which are brilliant snd make a Super version of the cooler unit ... Im hopeful they will .. in the meantime I beleive Torras will figure out something that works for my return of unit and Im happy with this .. Thank you
