> 3 daySetup was super easy and didnt take long. Performance is way more solid than with our old Wifi Router and faster on average too. No more complaints when all 6 members of the family are gaming and streaming at once

> 3 dayThese work great, making it so our WiFi signal is strong throughout the house. The setup was incredibly simple and easy to navigate, even for someone who isnt terrifically tech savvy. Definitely a great product for larger houses or homes with walls that prove tricky for WiFi with only one router.

> 3 dayI have been living in this condo for 6 years and have had constant connection problems in the bedroom. The previous router was located in the living room and could not be moved due to the cord. For years I have been complaining to my network provider and have bought various routers to no avail. I could not use my computer or even watch Sling in the bedroom (I have complained to Sling too) without having a dropped connection every 10 -15 min and sometimes even more often. Then one day I got exasperated enough to actually do some research and learned that, given the layout of the condo (only 1,200 square feet, but with a wall between where the router is located and the bedroom), my best option was to try a mesh router. Did lots of research (took me a few months) and chose the TP-link Deco. I needed some help installing it because my installation didn’t work. So I spoke with someone in tech support from TP-Link. The one deco that I originally installed didn’t seem to work so the tech guy instructed me to use the other 2. Since I only need 2 out of the 3, that was fine. Once he helped me set it up, it worked like magic. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is that, as I said above, one of the decos doesn’t work. But with the 2 I am using now, I almost can’t believe I haven’t had a dropped connection in the last 2 months. At all. Update on 2/10/2023 One of the decos got disconnected and it wasnt connecting. I called support and I reached someone pretty quickly. She guided me on how to use the app to reconnect the deco. Now all my 3 decos are connected. So Im very pleased with the customer support so I changed from 4 stars to 5.

> 3 dayThis is an updated review based on having the three deco 5s setup now for over a month. The whole package itself is fine, easy to setup, you can daisy chain for better signal, etc. However, two major issues this unit has if you read up on the forums which will eventually impact you. 1) The system does NOT allow you to force a certain device to connect to a certain unit, supposedly there is programming for it to choose the best wifi signal, however in some cases, a device right next to a unit will force itself to a unit much further away (which makes no sense and defeats the purpose). 2) The units talk to one another, meaning you choose a main unit, then the other units can either attach to the main unit or other units depending on the best connection. But, sometimes for whatever reason, a unit furthest away is trying to connect to a further away unit vs. one closer, and you CANNOT change which unit connects to what unit. This is crazy that this is not

> 3 dayEverything you need is included BUT buy some additional high-speed ethernet cables. No joke - this boosted my download speed as much as 50x. Easy setup using the app. The only problem I have with these - power cables are a joke. Youll probably need extension cords to place these any place optimal. What they give you is super short. Come on TP-Link, couldnt you make them longer?

Greater than one weekThese are VERY easy to set up. Using the app on my iPhone I had three of these set up and running in 15 minutes or so. Its been solid for the last month or so, knock on wood. I had dead/weak areas of my house where my FiOS router wasnt reaching, even though I had it set up in the most optimal place I could in the house. I spread three of these out and now there really isnt a single spot in my house that doesnt have solid coverage. You can easily add more units if need be to the system. These units are very subtle, low profile. Doesnt look obnoxious on a desk or other furniture. Ive tried other Wifi extender solutions in the past, and theyve been nothing but a headache. This mesh system was the opposite experience. Easy to set up and works well and consistently. Thumbs up for this TP-Link Mesh system for sure.

> 3 dayI wish I would’ve invested in a mesh WiFi system a while ago. This was well priced and so far, works good. The app to connect these is a easy and very user friendly. I hooked these up in a matter of 10 minutes, and that was me taking my time. I used one of the nodes as the router vice hooking it up to my replaced router and I get the speeds I was getting before. No problems so far and I don’t expect to have any. I had an update of few days ago and it made the app easier and more informative. Definitely recommend for a budget mesh.

> 3 dayOur network was actually a lot more unstable than I even realized before -- I now see how stable it could have been. =) There is nothing I dislike about it. At one point in my life I MIGHT have been upset that there wasnt more advanced options, but as Ive gotten older I dont want to be a network engineer at home (lol), so the plug and play nature of this was amazing. I had it up in minutes.
