Excelente señal en toda la casa. Los megas que me dan los tengo en toda la casa, no hay rincón de la casa que no tenga señal! Excelente inversión.

Only reason for not rating the tech support it... I didn’t need it! First off, I live in an area with crappy data signal. Without WiFi, I would not be able to use my phone. I had been using a single WiFi router that just did not cover my home and the minute you stepped outside forget it. No signal. I am using the M3 Deco system (3 units) in an 1,800 sq. ft., 2-story, wood frame house on 3/4 of an acre of land. The range is better than I hoped for! I get excellent signal even by the street in front of my house, to the fence line on both sides and it only starts to drop signal quality (not lose it) by my back fence and that is out past the tree line. Really pleased with the system and super-impressed with the range!

After changing an Advanced Setting, losing Wi-Fi connection and not finding my way back to the default, I found some good online customer support from 2 different techs which surprised since it was a Sunday. They helped me get the system back up and running by walking me through a complete reinstall.

    Greater than one week

1700 sq ft condo. As this was my first time owning a mesh, I prioritized price to ensure a satisfactory experience at the very least—thoroughly impressed. The setup was easy with clear instructions from the setup app. Each additional node’s setup were seamless. After setup, the system is upgraded to latest OS, reboots and is ready to operate. Over time, the setup app will indicate an OS upgrade is available. Subsequent upgrades perform flawlessly.

These work great, making it so our WiFi signal is strong throughout the house. The setup was incredibly simple and easy to navigate, even for someone who isnt terrifically tech savvy. Definitely a great product for larger houses or homes with walls that prove tricky for WiFi with only one router.

This was our first mesh wi-fi solution so there was a huge improvement in terms of coverage and speed throughout the house. 4 Stars because the parental control seems to be iffy. We are not able to pause or block PS4 like we previously did with the older Wi-Fi router-- and that is a problem.

Ive had this in my home for about 1.5 years. This was supposed to be an upgrade after having Google wifi for a while. My house is 2 levels (not counting the basement, where we did put one of the units) and we have ~45 wifi devices of both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz variety including smart switches, thermostats, computers, mobile phones, tablets, etc. When this system works, its great. The problem is when a device (my kids computer or game system, my wifes iPhone, or some other random device) gets randomly disconnected and then cant reconnect. Sometimes deleting the device and then trying to reconnect to the network works, sometimes physically rebooting the main wifi puck by pulling the power cord for ~30 seconds works, sometimes nothing works and a device that has been connected fine for months (like our floor vacuum or a Fire TV stick) suddenly will not reconnect no matter what. Sometimes I will join the lost device to the guest network and then go back to the main network and everything is fine. I shouldnt have to do this. Even with a regular reboot schedule to clear out the cobwebs, its been a total crap-shoot whether or not a device is going to connect, stay connected or end up in wifi purgatory. For the last few months, Ive been running a beta firmware (1.6.1 build 20220818 rel. 36456) that was recommended on the tp-link support forums for an issue I was having last summer. I dont remember the issue now but I do recall the firmware fixed it, but did nothing to fix the random device-disconnecting this system does. The app you have to use to manage the mesh is frequently wrong (a device that is connected doesnt show up no matter how many times you refresh the app, or my favorite of randomly showing another device like a TV or light switch as Me at the top of the list of online clients even though my iPhone is listed). I wish I could recommend this because the signal strength is really good, and the coverage is great for a typical home. I cant though. Save your money, or spend more for something more reliable. Perhaps this is the TP-Link budget solution that just isnt good, as several of their other mesh systems get high marks and glowing reviews from multiple websites. Im actually giving up and replacing this with a higher-end TP-Link system and will be watching that one like a hawk during the return period to see if its worth the extra money. Fingers crossed.

In my 2-story townhome, I had horrible wi-fi/internet connection on the second story. This mesh system fixed everything. I could not have installed them on my own, it took a very knowledgeable friend to get them situated in the right spots in my home. My daughter moved back in, and works remotely, and she would have never been able to do her job without these, as when she made visits home, she had to connect to her person hotspot in order to do her work.

i purchased this set about a year ago to get better signal throughout the house. it works perfectly!! it is very ease to set up, but do not rush it! take your time and read the directions. my living space is about 2000 sq ft, with a main floor and an upstairs. strategically placed, these units provide great coverage throughout the entire house! i will say though that you do need an electrical outlet wherever you put each of the units. the individual units are relatively small, and are inconspicuous. i placed one on my main computer, so it blends in with all the other computer stuff. i placed one in the upstairs hallway on a table of pictures. the pictures pretty much hide the unit. and i put the third one at the other end of my upstairs hallway (there are stairs at each end of the hallway) on a decorative ledge. the unit blends in with the nick-knacks. we are not typically gamers, however, we have plenty connected to the wifi and do not have any problems. we have 2 desktops, 2 smart tvs, a laptop, 3 smartphones, 2 ipads, and an ipod connected and have no problems! we even set up a guest wi-fi for the kids friends and family members. the speed did not seem to be affected when my boy had buddies over and they each brought thier x-boxs to play online with other friends from school. so on top of the above mentioned, we also had the 3 x-boxes connected to wi-fi, along with 3 more phones... still no problems. it also has and easy interface to set up parental controls, however, i have not used it much. overall, great buy!

I began a search to upgrade an older wireless router; we have a six level house, there are many dead spots and slow speeds with the current router. I initially looked at upgrading the router with their newer model or simply adding extenders either to the in place router or as part of an upgrade kit including a new router. In my search, I came across the TP-Link Deco M5 mesh system. The Deco system received high praise on Amazon and with reputable Internet tech reviewers. However I was still skeptical as this was a new concept to me, I worried most about security. The more I learned about the Deco M5 system the concerns I had about its viability lessened so I decided to give it a trial while having a Plan B of going with an upgraded router and extenders. Installation was very easy and as I got into securing our network I was pleased with the robust security options. This uses the AES security protocol that most mesh systems do not. We now have no dead spots, fast speeds and I have better control of my environment. No Plan B needed !!

Maximum wireless transmission rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Range and coverage specifications along with the number of connected devices were defined according to test results under normal usage conditions. Actual wireless transmission rate, wireless coverage, and number of connected devices are not, and will vary as a result of 1) environmental factors, including building materials, physical objects and obstacles, 2) network conditions, including local interference, volume and density of traffic, product location, network complexity, and network overhead and 3) client limitations, including rated performance, location, connection quality, and client condition. MU-MIMO capability requires both the mesh system and client devices to support MU-MIMO. Free lifetime subscription to TP-Link HomeCare is included with purchase on select TP-Link models at no additional cost. “Lifetime Subscription” refers solely to the life of the purchased device and cannot be transferred.
