> 24 hourMany things are guaranteed for the Christmas season. One is that I will find my Christmas lights are still on in the morning. Not this year! As a happy owner of tons of Treatlife Single, 3-way, and Dimmer switches, it was easy to jump on this purchase. In our case, it should be noted, we have never used their software and cant comment on that part of it. We get it for the hardware and replace the firmware on day 1. It was no different with these two DP10 Outdoor Outlets. Whats next? Waiting on the ok to put up the Christmas lights after Thanksgiving.

> 24 hourI used two of these for my Christmas lights on my house. They worked great. Like any other smart products, I did have to re-sync one of them once. Its so much easier than using a timer.

> 24 hourIve used a small handful of IoT products from this company- light switches, outlet plugs, timer plugs... so I felt like I knew what to expect when I got these. The outcome was better than I expected, though. While not altogether a super simple process, the Wi-fi pairing process was easier- at least it seemed so to me. The quality of the product itself was, to my surprise, quite superb. The plastic is hard and durable, and the cord is thick and also seemingly durable, allowing some pretty rugged outdoor use where needed. Of course, the switch is grounded, too, allowing for more safety in all scenarios. In my case, I have both being used indoors, but its nice, all the same. The controls are actually really nice, too. I particularly like the feature which allows the user to set a dimming limit. In other words, if you have it connected to dimmable LED lights, and those lights (as most do) have a tolerance limit at which they stop dimming, you can set the app to not be able to dim lower than that level. Honestly, the biggest downside on these things is that if you want to mount it, there is only one mounting hole for a screw... which is really not that bad, at all. One other thing to keep in mind is that the plug is a right angle. In other words, the cord goes immediately straight down. Its a VERY nice feature for looking discrete and saving space immediately in front of the outlet, but not hand if you have another plug on the same outlet that also is right-angled. Honestly, these are well worth the buck if you are looking for an outlet dimmer switch- whether you use it indoors, or out.

> 24 hourApp works fast and is easy to setup. Bought a 2 pack of these dimmer plugs, and 1 works flawlessly, the other acts odd when a nearby household dimmer is used. No issue of the rotary dimmer is off, and no issue if the rotary dimmer is full on. Any where in between, and the smart plug turns on automatically, and assumes the rotary dimmer level. Swapped the 2 locations, and same issue on the one near the dimmer. Odd, but they are still very reliable, and the app is perfect

> 24 hourI have spent over 2 hours trying to get these devices to connect to my phone to be able to remotely use them, and I still have not been able to connect. They do not seem to be too smart, as their name would imply.

> 24 hourThis outdoor plug is easy to setup feels sturdy and works great out of box. It took me about 10 minutes to setup both and in operation. If you use Smart Life app to setup, use manual setup, pick Socket Wifi -> Enter your 2.4ghz wifi information -> And change EZ mode to AP Mode. I can never get the EZ mode to work correctly and I have more than 10 Treat life switches and plugs in my house. All of them set up perfectly using AP mode but not EZ mode. I have both Alexa and Google Assistant. Adding to both app was easy and intuitive enough. I set up so if I say Alexa Merry Christmas, Alexa lights up all outdoor lights and the tree inside. I love it. Merry Christmas, everyone!

> 24 hourOK, some of the problem MAY be my inexperience with stuff like this, but Ive been using computers since the 1960s and I dont usually have such difficulty. The instructions were extremely unclear as to how to get the dimmer plug set up, and the venue was not easy to work within (I set it up where I planned to use it, in a wall outlet between some furniture. I probably spent 5 or 6 hours because it didnt operate the way I had eventually gathered/interpreted it should. Putting into pairing or discovery mode worked sometimes, and other times (if I failed to get it discovered) I had to unplug it and plug it in again (I think I had to. its hard to say.) Once that was done, connecting to Alexa was more of the same, and Alexa couldnt find it. The instructions were completely unclear, repeating things Id already done, etc. I tried chat support on my phone and the chatters instructions were impossible to follow while using my phone at the same time. Eventually it was the next day and they sent me some attachments but by then id gotten it working. But then I was prompted to download yet more software for it and that reversed the whole process. Back to square one, and more hours. Now its working and it works great, except the only way to control it is by phone, I gather. Cant do anything actually AT the device. Maybe this is all par for the course. Actually I hope so because I have not been willing to set up any other device because Im catching up with the things i didnt get done while trying to master this one. I do NOT think it is the device, but what I see as a basic incoherence and/or writing and chat communication ineptitude (yes, partly mine). What a nightmare.

> 24 hourAnother great product from Treatlife! I happened upon my first Treatlife switch almost a year ago. It was a 4 pack of wall light switches to control our outdoor lights. I have use the Smart Life and Amazon Alexa apps to control them. Since then I have add many different Treatlife products to our home and was thrilled when I saw they now have an outdoor switch so we can control some outdoor lighting. Like all the other Treatlife products setup was easy and the dimming function is super cool. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

> 24 hourAt first, I purchased the 2 outlet 1 plug product from Treatlife. I had one set of low voltage AC deck lights connected to 1st outlet and another set of low voltage DC deck lights connected to the 2nd outlet. When reducing the brightness of the AC dimmable lights to a very low brightness setting (<10%), the DC lights (not dimmable) would flicker. The two outlets were not totally independent and separate. Even turning off the one set of DC deck lights would cause the other set of deck lights to flicker or blink. I repeated this with two individual plugs with 1 outlet each. Even in this setup, I observed the same issues. Based on this, the two plugs are somehow connected or seeing interference from one another through the app. Within the last couple of months, a different company released a 1 plug 2 outlet outdoor dimmer, and this same problem does not occur.
