Greater than one weekWorks great. Very intuitive to use. My 14 year old daughter stole one from the two pack for herself. Hooked them both up to Alexa devices without issue. I now have a dimmable lamp in my livingroom that I scheduled to automatically turn on and off. Only downside is it is a little bulky and the plug has to be in the bottom socket if you want to use both plugs. Very friendly company that actually cares about their customers input so I wouldnt be surprised if this gets addressed in a 2nd gen. Would recommend company and their products.

> 3 dayI really love these outdoor dimmer plugs. I plan on using them this Christmas for my lights. With the timer setting, I will be able to set when the lights come on and set them to come on Bright (Full strength) and then later dim, so I do not bother the neighbors. This winter when temperatures get cold (Minnesota), I will be able to connect the engine block heater to come on around 4am and be ready to start my truck for work. It allows me not to have the heater plugged in all night. Thanks for creating a versatile outdoor dimmer plug.

> 3 dayGreat product to dim LED string lights. Includes additional dimmer sensitivity settings in case the set of lights you have flicker while dimming. Integrates with Echo and Google Assistant. One star knocked off for the app being a bit confusing at first in relation to the dimmer sensitivity settings. Also the product is called TreatLife, but you need to enable the Amazon skill SmartLife to have it connect. Theres another skill called TreatLife, which is clearly the same manufacturer, but doesnt work and just causes confusion. The other negative is there is no local automation control of this out of the box and it requires cloud connectivity (for local smart hubs like Hubitat). Apparently there is a way to flash the firmware, but I just did a workaround to use cloud connectivity to the Hubitat for my simple automation.

> 3 dayIts unfortunate they put works only with 2.4GHz Wifi. That is a gross oversimplification. 2.4GHz is only required during the INITIAL SETUP phase. After that you can use 5GHz. Im using a TP-Link Deco mesh network and the router app allows enabling/disabling of either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Simply disable the 5GHz during setup of the plug and the install should proceed without a hitch. Then once the smart dimmer plug is successfully added and working, you can re-enable the 5GHz on the router. If you dont have an app, theres usually a waly to log into your router to enable/disable the two bands. BTW, I suspect that the reason you often see that these wont work with a mesh network is that they only communicate with the specific node that you set up the smart plug for, and wont work node-to-node. I havent tested this yet, but thats probably right due to the different MAC addresses in each node. If youre lucky that all of you dimmers can be located within range of the node where you do the setup, you should be in business. Hope this helps!

> 3 dayGot this to control outdoor rop light on deck. Easy to set up and use. Works great. Can adjust dimming range. A neat feature is that when you shut off the lights, it phases them out. Have a number of Treatlife products now in my house. Great technical support. Answer questions quickly. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekOutside of Phillips Hue, I have standardized my smart home devices through Smart Life. Treatlife products work great with this app, are always reliable, and are cost-effective which is why I keep coming back to them. I have had these outdoor smart outlets in the weather for all 4 seasons and even in some extreme/severe weather. Ive never had an issue. They continue to be reliable and stay connected to wifi at all times.

> 3 dayIncredibly great smart plug for the price. They work with the other generic “dimmable” smart string lights that I also found on Amazon. Easy to install just like their bulbs, and syncs with Google Assistant. Just as good as a similar Kasa / TP-Link plug I have, but significantly cheaper which is why I’m giving this 5 stars.

> 3 dayI was tired of forgetting to turn on or off the outdoor Christmas lights so I bought two of these. They are very sturdy and I am sure they will last for years. I can find a use for them after the holidays as well. Turning on patio lights, or remotely turning on a desk lamp. It was a little challenging to add the devices to the iOS iPhone app, auto-scan dis not work for me. But I was able to connect manually. I would recommend this product.

Greater than one weekIts hard to imagine a smart switch that only has an Apple app, but this is the one. There is NO Treatlife app on the google store. However, Treatlife support is very good, and they pointed out that these switches are compatible with the Smart Life app. That does indeed work, so now I have the outdoor dimmer that I wanted, along with sunrise and sunset functions that are supported by Smartlife.
