Incredibly great smart plug for the price. They work with the other generic “dimmable” smart string lights that I also found on Amazon. Easy to install just like their bulbs, and syncs with Google Assistant. Just as good as a similar Kasa / TP-Link plug I have, but significantly cheaper which is why I’m giving this 5 stars.

This product is very easy to set up with the Treatlife app that I downloaded from Google Play. On the Android, the setup of each dimmer was very simple. Just follow the instructions. Basically: Blinking rapidly, hit the + on the app and it finds it, enter your WiFi password and its done! Then you can add it to Alexa and create routines for it! Very easy! The dimming is really nice because you can change the dimmable range depending on your exact application. Not all dimmers can do this. One item they do not include in the Amazon description is if you are in an area without WiFi, you can use the physical button ON the dimmer to increase/decrease the brightness. So it is NOT absolutely necessary to connect it to your phone via the app in order to use them!

I love this smart plug! Super easy to install and the mobile app is so useful and convenient. But I want to point out one thing. Youd better check your Wi-Fi network before you purchase this if its 2.4 GHz or not. If not, buy something else.

Setting these up via the app was very simple. I have used them about 9 months now. Starting with string lights in my backyard patio (turning on and off on a schedule every night) and now my Christmas lights. I have had 0 problems with them. I loved them so much I even purchased them for my indoor Christmas trees. I plugged them directly into the outlet under the house overhang so while they occasionally get a little rain or snow, I don’t know what their limit is. I also love the dimmer function! My wife (and me a little) hate the look of LED Christmas lights on full brightness and this make it easy to get the perfect warm white look of them.

App works fast and is easy to setup. Bought a 2 pack of these dimmer plugs, and 1 works flawlessly, the other acts odd when a nearby household dimmer is used. No issue of the rotary dimmer is off, and no issue if the rotary dimmer is full on. Any where in between, and the smart plug turns on automatically, and assumes the rotary dimmer level. Swapped the 2 locations, and same issue on the one near the dimmer. Odd, but they are still very reliable, and the app is perfect
