What a great kit! I used 6 of the colors so far and was able to tie dye 9 shirts, 3 sports bras, and 4 pairs of socks. We had a blast. This kit made it pretty easy. Just fill the squirt bottles to the line and shake to dissolve the color. Do the shaking carefully because some bottles didn’t seal very well. The instructions it came with worked, although I still had to check google for other questions. So the instructions could have been more through. Other than that I think this was a great value and a lot of fun!

Super easy to use and colors turned out so bright and nice! Other tie dye kits we’ve used in the past the colors weren’t as bright and faded once you washed them! I highly recommend this product and will us it again!

I bought this kit to use with my family. There was plenty dye though the claim on the package seems a bit high. We dyed 7 T-shirts and 4 tote bags and there was still some dye left over, probably enough for one or two more shirts. This kit is ready to use and produces very vibrant colors. I was very impressed with how bright the colors came out. The bottles do tend to leak, so be very careful when shaking and when removing the caps. Definitely use the included gloves and plastic table cover!

I read a lot of reviews and was nervous that the colors would wash away as some people experienced. I followed all directions as printed and the colors came out great. I used 100% cotton and did not have to soak or wash it in vinegar. I even used a shirt that was 60% cotton and that works great as well.

Our family had a whole lot of fun designing and making our own tie-dye tee shirts. The colors that Tulip provides have a good range. Keep in mind when you soak your shirt/garment after wrapping in plastic wrap and leaving it overnight, the colors will become more muted. After getting most of the excess dye out I wrung it out a few times and then let it air dry on a sunny summer day. Then you should be able to wash all your tie-dye shirts together in the washer, then dry them together in the dryer. After that you should be able to wash them with normal clothes (we did, but you may want to wash separately 3 more times as per the instructions. I highly recommend this for some great family fun!

I am much happier with my projects now that I have more colors, including black. I used about half the colors on my holiday gift making (jeans, t-shirt, lots of socks) and saved the rest for the next project. You cant save your leftover dye for another time with this set, I guess because it contains its own mordant which has a very limited life after you hydrate it. So batch your stuff or invite a friend. I pretty much used up what I opened. I saved the squeeze bottles to use with refill packets, but I havent tried doing that yet.

This was a gift. It was easy to prepare. Comes with nice directions and ideas. Colors came out bright. We did wash our items first and let them sit overnight. Gloves are a must unless you wanted colored hands for a few days.

i love all the colors that it comes with! even though i only used some of the selected colors, its cool to see that the box provides a bit more color just in case you run out of your favorites. The box includes the bottles, powder, gloves, and a ton of rubber bands to assist in your tie-dye magic. To make the colored powder last longer, I did not use the entire powder during my tie-dye use. I separated the powder into a tiny ziploc bag leaving just enough powder in the bottle. Itll probably be like a couple of teaspoons if I had to be kind of exact. Next I filled it up with some water and bam, I was able to get the color to mix and used it all for my t-shirt. It wouldve been sad if I had used the entire powder for my tshirt, then I would have a ton of dye left over that Ill have to toss out.

Great product. I docked it one star because the bottles are big and once you mix the water with the colors they recommend you use it right away because the color will start to fade in time. So basically its a one use type thing. What we did was get a spare bottle, dump a little powder in and add water, this way we could use more powder another time. It has a nice pamplet with how tos, it includes rubber bands and gloves. The colors are great and I like the variety of colors along with the price.
