> 3 dayThis package was great. I bought a bus tub (like in restaurants) and a strainer (for cooling pizza) at my local restaurant supply store because I wanted a safe container to use to dye in and the diameters were perfect. I only ended up using 8/12 colors to die three 4x Hanes v-neck t-shirts to wear for sleeping. There was plenty of dye even when I only used two bottles per shirt although if it were double, I would have had more vivid colors. I *do* like how the colors came out. I didnt try any of the methods in the kit on techniques but did research looking for examples of what I wanted to beforehand. The plastic tarp sheeting was the perfect size for the space I had (I did this indoors in my laundry room) and I just needed to wrap everything up and toss it in the trash when I was through. Cleanup was a breeze, the dye didnt get on my skin although I used professional latex gloves that I already owned. (I never use the gloves that come with hair dye either.) The only pain about the whole process was the actual rinsing of the t-shirts. I probably had to rinse about a dozen times in cold, another dozen in warm and then perhaps half a dozen in hot to get to a light murky color. I didnt expend more energy to get clear water. The colors have stayed true and I have washed the shirts several times on their own in warm water and with a set of blacks because my fabric softener wasnt getting the t-shirts soft enough.

> 3 dayThe kit itself was easy to use and worked well. However I received it with the bottom of the box ripped partially open and when we opened it up to do the tie dye it was missing the instruction booklet AND the plastic drop/table cloth - 2 very important items!! Really annoying to not have instructions when it was our first time using this kit. And also really annoying to not have the plastic table cloth to protect the table from the dye as tie dying is a VERY MESSY process. We proceeded anyway cause we had everything ready to go and I didn’t want to let my kids down by scraping it due to missing items. I had to use cut up trash bags as a drop cloth. Ugh.

> 3 dayI bought this for a little party that we had to tie dye and paint oneses for my grandson. We all got together on the front lawn at my daughters house and painted away. It was amazing how many we could do with one set and what variety we got from it. Some people went traditional tie dye and some used paint brushes and the dye to paint lovely designs. It was an afternoon of great fun. I would suggest that it could become part of a baby shower activity but expect a bit of a mess afterwards.

> 3 dayWe used this kit to tie dye at my daughters 5th bday party. We did about 8 kids shirts and 10 adults. We had enough left for probably 2 more shirts. The dye is really vibrant and was easy to use.

> 3 dayMy grandkids (6, 10 and 12) and I had a blast making tye-dye shirts. I have a few suggests: 1. The gloves that come with the kit are HUGE. You may want to get small disposable gloves. 2. If you have more than 2 people tye-dying at the same time you will want a larger drop cloth. 3. This product with make a ton of projects. We did 7 shirts and still had a ton of dye left. The shirts came out great!

> 3 dayOur family had a whole lot of fun designing and making our own tie-dye tee shirts. The colors that Tulip provides have a good range. Keep in mind when you soak your shirt/garment after wrapping in plastic wrap and leaving it overnight, the colors will become more muted. After getting most of the excess dye out I wrung it out a few times and then let it air dry on a sunny summer day. Then you should be able to wash all your tie-dye shirts together in the washer, then dry them together in the dryer. After that you should be able to wash them with normal clothes (we did, but you may want to wash separately 3 more times as per the instructions. I highly recommend this for some great family fun!
