I love tulip tie dye kits but this one had holes in some of the bottles. I always craft with my grandchildren so you can imagine the mess. It wasn’t done during delivery because the holes were too small .

This was a Birthday present my husband got for me! I love Tye Dye shirts!! This was messy but so fun!! Great Tye Dye kit, easy to do even for someone who has never done Tye Dye before!! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was the size of the bottles, they are to small for great coverage. I used the whole bottle and still some white in the designs. I still love the way my shirts came out though!! TIP let the Dye set in for a good 24 hours on the material before rinsing!!! I did one Shirt at 8 hours, its not near as bright as the ones shown in pics. All shirts pictured I let set for 24 hours!!

Great product. The instructions where nice and easy. Great color options and I liked that it came with gum bands, gloves and a plastic table cloth. Definitely will buy again once Im done using all the colors. The package isnt super well made in that it was open when I got it. So I understand the complaints about that and people that bought it as a gift. But nothing in my order was damaged. After dying. I let it set for 12 hours. Hand rinsed in cold water. Hung to dry. Hand rinsed in hot water then directly in to washing machine cold cold cold no soap. They held color very well! Hope this helps!

These tie dyes are so easy to use and produce great results. This is probably my third time purchasing and it’s always so fun to see how things turn out.

Our favorite summer activity! The colors are vivid - the gloves are useless though - better off buying nitrile gloves. Careful when uncapping bottle after shaking they leak out dye. Also make sure to prewash everything! (Sweatshirt was not washed and s 50/50 cotton/poly blend) Bright spiral was 109% cotton and ore washed. We did all the shirts you see in group photo with 2 kits.

Kinda fades with first wash. But it is really fun and easy to use. Just add water. Lots of colors and the pigments are pretty. I like the variety and colors, but I don’t like that the guide and instructions are so minimal (just the back of the cardboard) because it doesn’t have enough direction to be able to start without prior knowledge and experience.

This package was great. I bought a bus tub (like in restaurants) and a strainer (for cooling pizza) at my local restaurant supply store because I wanted a safe container to use to dye in and the diameters were perfect. I only ended up using 8/12 colors to die three 4x Hanes v-neck t-shirts to wear for sleeping. There was plenty of dye even when I only used two bottles per shirt although if it were double, I would have had more vivid colors. I *do* like how the colors came out. I didnt try any of the methods in the kit on techniques but did research looking for examples of what I wanted to beforehand. The plastic tarp sheeting was the perfect size for the space I had (I did this indoors in my laundry room) and I just needed to wrap everything up and toss it in the trash when I was through. Cleanup was a breeze, the dye didnt get on my skin although I used professional latex gloves that I already owned. (I never use the gloves that come with hair dye either.) The only pain about the whole process was the actual rinsing of the t-shirts. I probably had to rinse about a dozen times in cold, another dozen in warm and then perhaps half a dozen in hot to get to a light murky color. I didnt expend more energy to get clear water. The colors have stayed true and I have washed the shirts several times on their own in warm water and with a set of blacks because my fabric softener wasnt getting the t-shirts soft enough.

It was a fun project and was easy to do. The kit did not include enough rubber bands (but I had purchased some amazon basics ones). It came with several pairs of baggy gloves. The drop cloth was very small and would’ve been way too small if we had more people dyeing. The dye was easy to fill to the line but some of the colors (notably the light green and light pink) had weird off colored specks in the dye (orange and black, respectively). It caused some poor coloration. Overall we had enough to do 2 adult shirts, 5 child shirts, and maybe 8 onesies. The dye faded immediately, which was disappointing. However, it was a fun craft and we enjoyed making them (especially the kid).

Have bought this brand before in a box which worked great. For some reason this one rolled off the clothing and didnt seep in very well. I will stick with the box going forward.
