> 3 dayI was so disappointed with the quality of the product. The umbrella is not sturdy and it is plastic material. Based on the description, I thought the umbrella would be able to cover me completely when carrying a backpack. That is not the case.

> 3 dayWith weather patterns differing from place to place, its hard to say what you may need. However, Im near the Gulf coast, and the weather can be very unpredictable. As such, Ive learned that its a good idea to have a compact umbrella in each vehicle, in case of a torrential downpour. It was in that spirit that I got an UVANTI Umbrella Inverted Umbrella Windproof Travel Umbrella with Teflon Coating and Reflective Stripe, 10 Ribs Compact Reverse Umbrella Automatic Folding Umbrella, Blue. Umbrellas vary widely in price, and the UVANTI is firmly in the low-middle price tier. Often the brand name, and not quality, is responsible for higher prices, so I went into this with an open mind. Ive included a couple photos to show you the actual item. The canopy and suspension appear to be of decent quality. The handle, on the other hand, is adequate, but feels a little cheap. The button release works well, and every time. As for the function of the umbrella, Im a fan of the inverted style... especially for ingress and egress from a car, or for entering a home or business. Its really nice to not just dump a ton of water out in an area you didnt intend. Im not really sure what the Teflon will do on the fabric. Im used to nylon canopies, of various types, and Im not sure that they typically are coated. Im not really an umbrella subject matter expert. I do now a bit about PTFE, though... If UVANTI uses Teflon, you dont have to worry about PFOA. While youd probably elect to have a larger umbrella on-hand in the event that you know rain is imminent, I would say that the UVANTI is great as a car/emergency umbrella. The reflective strip is a great feature that all umbrellas should have. Recommended

> 3 dayI loved the idea of a small inverted umbrella. Bought for my mother-in-law (84) for Christmas and it was not easy for her to get down.

Greater than one weekThis umbrella lasted < 6 months. One of the collapsible arms broke. I wouldnt buy this again. It is not even close to being windproof.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is sturdy! The problem I’ve encountered is when it’s opened it opens in the opposite direction (upside down). I had to open and close a couple of times before it opens correctly. It is a nice concept to have the auto open and close but it doesn’t close down to size. I have to push it back in place.

> 3 day** update** 18 months I have had my umbrella, my review still stands. I normally keep it in the door pocket, but it has been thrown around too. Bookbags, suitcases, it even survived the kids playing with it.** Compact yet not flimsy. Great travel umbrella or just to keep in your car. (Mine is in the pocket of the door.) Kinda awkward to operate at first, then youll wonder why the even still make umbrellas the other way. I have noticed a few times that the little caps at the end of the supports come off while closed and stored. (The little things that keep you from poking yourself all around the umbrella.) Not a huge deal, they are attached to the fabric so you just spin the umbrella around and pop them back on. I set aside a tube of super glue so that I can put a dab on them next time and hopefully theyll stay put.

> 3 dayThe only good thing about the umbrella is the push button open and close...... The stick is not sturdy at all, in fact it kinda shakes. The worst part is I didnt have to use it until after the return window closed. This is absolutely the worst umbrella Ive ever purchased.

> 3 dayThis is an awesome umbrella. It collapses into a very small bag for traveling. It pops up with the push of a button and then collapses just as easily. It does a great job at keeping the water off when you collapse it, the rain gets caught inside so it doesnt get you wet. It is the size of an average umbrella when unfolded. Overall, its great quality and I love how easy it is the take with me and keeps the water from getting all over me.

> 3 dayAfter reviewing options they all looked alike. It seems to be the same manufacturer simply changing brand names to pretend having options. After reviewing mine I decided to return it. Structure is very flimsy and the fabric doesn’t seem to be of high quality at all. I don’t think this thing would stand a single Florida rain.
