Greater than one weekThe edge of there umbrella will often times not flip out when the button is pressed and it expands. Might take a few tries--sliding the umbrella back and forth--to get it to pop into position. Other than that, its very compact and is holding up well.

Greater than one weekI have had so many umbrellas over the years, and very very few have done their job well. This umbrella is really great, and here is why I thinks so. First, it is ruggedly built and feels almost heavy duty. The shaft is thicker and more robust. The ribs are also thick and strong. The ribs are the structure of the umbrella. The umbrella is windproof. Please use common sense, that doesnt mean 65 mph winds. That kind of wind is hard to even walk in. But, in a moderately windy storm, this will hold its ground. How do I know? We had high winds for the past few days, and it is the middle of winter. I took it out in the windy weather because I was simply curious. I mean if it broke, I could at least write a review stating that. But it did not happen. We had wind gusts over 40mph and this help up like a champ. I almost lost the umbrella a couple of times, as the wind almost ripped it out of my hands. So it is windproof. Another reason, the umbrella is deep. I have had so many umbrellas that were shallow, and rain would come in from the side and I got a wet face. Not with this one. It is very deep and you are very well protected. The material is strong and waterproof, water just beads off like a well waxed car. Lastly, the umbrella has a reflective strip around the base of the umbrella material that illuminates very brightly, making you seen in dark conditions. Safety first! The umbrella opens and closes with the push of one button. It is compact and always ready when needed. It is also my opinion that for the price, this is a fantastic value. It gets 5 stars, and deserves them all.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is compact. The quality is very good for modern umbrellas. It opens and closes automatically with a push of the button. When closing, though, you still need to push the umbrella down (just like all automatic umbrellas that Ive seen). The one feature that stands out with this umbrella is that it is inverted, which, theoretically, will help keep you or your purse dry when you are done using it. I dont know how effective that is, though. If you put this in your purse when its wet, the water would just drip out of the end. One problem with this umbrella is all of the plastic in the frame. I think that might be what makes it light, though, so that could be a positive feature.

> 3 dayI’m not used to this small ones. Normally I use really big umbrellas. But for medium size umbrella, it is sturdy and easy to use and it doesn’t drip water everywhere in my car

Greater than one weekThis does not unfold well. You have to manipulate the under bars to straighten them out. I have an older on from when they first came out and it is amazing......This one, not so much. If you were getting out of your car in the rain youd be soaked by the time you got it open. I would not get it again.
