> 3 dayFits well in a purse. Opens easily. A little hard to close. Its smaller than I expected when open. Not as sturdy in the wind as it claims to be. But it hasnt broken yet. Ive used it about 5 times in some heavy storms.

Greater than one weekIts very sturdy and pops open REALLY fast (be sure to point it away from you and other people when opening). I have to use both hands to open and close it, though. Probably because Im kind of old and my hands arent very strong. Oh, and its also great for keeping the rain off my head.

Greater than one weekOpened it and it was inverted. Had to flip all the ends and one corner was ripped. Not very happy with it.

> 3 dayI’m not used to this small ones. Normally I use really big umbrellas. But for medium size umbrella, it is sturdy and easy to use and it doesn’t drip water everywhere in my car

> 3 dayWith weather patterns differing from place to place, its hard to say what you may need. However, Im near the Gulf coast, and the weather can be very unpredictable. As such, Ive learned that its a good idea to have a compact umbrella in each vehicle, in case of a torrential downpour. It was in that spirit that I got an UVANTI Umbrella Inverted Umbrella Windproof Travel Umbrella with Teflon Coating and Reflective Stripe, 10 Ribs Compact Reverse Umbrella Automatic Folding Umbrella, Blue. Umbrellas vary widely in price, and the UVANTI is firmly in the low-middle price tier. Often the brand name, and not quality, is responsible for higher prices, so I went into this with an open mind. Ive included a couple photos to show you the actual item. The canopy and suspension appear to be of decent quality. The handle, on the other hand, is adequate, but feels a little cheap. The button release works well, and every time. As for the function of the umbrella, Im a fan of the inverted style... especially for ingress and egress from a car, or for entering a home or business. Its really nice to not just dump a ton of water out in an area you didnt intend. Im not really sure what the Teflon will do on the fabric. Im used to nylon canopies, of various types, and Im not sure that they typically are coated. Im not really an umbrella subject matter expert. I do now a bit about PTFE, though... If UVANTI uses Teflon, you dont have to worry about PFOA. While youd probably elect to have a larger umbrella on-hand in the event that you know rain is imminent, I would say that the UVANTI is great as a car/emergency umbrella. The reflective strip is a great feature that all umbrellas should have. Recommended

17-11-2024After reviewing options they all looked alike. It seems to be the same manufacturer simply changing brand names to pretend having options. After reviewing mine I decided to return it. Structure is very flimsy and the fabric doesn’t seem to be of high quality at all. I don’t think this thing would stand a single Florida rain.
