> 24 hourThis product is well made but the paint would chipped off easily so be careful in handling.

> 24 hourI now have 3 of these. Cables are secured through my gloveboxes, and it is awesome to open them and carry the case in my backpack into a hotel or other place. Plus the USA company (Central Florida) is extremely responsive to questions and requests.

> 24 hourI really wanted this to work, I received this and played with it for several days before writing this review. For me, I have a p320 x compact with light and romeo 1 pro, this gun fits but it is a very snug fit, an extra magazine just barely fits. Cannot use the pluck foam because of the fit, so why bother spending the extra $$ for something you really cannot use. do you REALLY need the 4 cable? the 19 one I felt was more realistic in making it more difficult to break into. On that note, with the weapon in, close the lid and with just the lock and no latches. There is a sizeable gap in which one could easily get a decent size flat head screwdriver in an pop this open with not too much effort. The inside depth needs to be another 1/4 deeper, right now it bulges just enough not to make this a practical option.

> 24 hourPer VaulteK: Vaultek is headquartered in Orlando, FL. All safes are designed in the US, and manufactured according to Vaultek specifications overseas. I would have preferred a USA made safe, but could not find one comparable. Happy with the safe. By far the lightest I could find. It fit a Glock 19 with 2 clips. Easy to program. Two keys and 24 cable. The 24 cable seems kinda short to work with. They offer a 48 cable. Seems something in between would be better provided with the unit. I could see Vaultek expanding their line to include a larger unit as well and fingerprint access. I compromised on not having the biometric fingerprint access, though the unit is quick to access. Most impressed with Amazon. I pinched the button just before midnight. When I got up at 7 am the wife said I had a delivery on the deck. I wish Amazon would indicate the nation of mfg.

> 24 hourLove the ease of use, the ability to keep my firearm secure but accessible in a split second. Best money spent, the cheap imitations are exactly that THIS SAFE IS WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD!!

> 24 hourBonus points if anyone gets the headline reference. Jokes aside this portable safe is awesome! Its the perfect size to secure, contain and protect my S&W M&P 9MM SHIELD PLUS as well as a couple extra mags. I also really like the optional strap that comes with it, I found it very useful as an attachment point to clip on my hearing protection ear plug holder. Registered it with the manufacturer on their website which was very simple and easy, they just needed the ID material off the safe itself and the Amazon order ID number. Unlocking this with the keypad is very satisfying, especially with the little lock popping sound when you enter your code.

> 24 hourI like this a lot. It fits my Sig 320c and a magazine comfortably. Not sure it would fit the full size. It feels solid and I’m confident my little ones wouldn’t be able to accidentally get into it if they managed to find it. I like that you can isolate the key so it’s key code only. The fact you can plug a usb in to power it if the battery runs out gives me some confidence in locking the key off. It has a nice finish. Was a bit tricky setting the code - make sure you keep the button inside pressed down as you set the code. This has made me think about buying the larger safe for when my collection grows as although it is good this isn’t a proper gun safe, but should prevent unwanted mitts getting hold of your gun.
