Greater than one weekI actually wish this was a little smaller for the ruger LCP is store inside. Love how fast you can key in access code. Side locks are a pain when you leave this on the shelf and open it multiple times a day but I have found them to not be necessary to lock side locks when left on the shelf(directions suggest always having side locks latched when locking/unlocking). The directions stated that the model I received was the updated lock that will not allow code to be reset with door locked as seen in several YouTube videos revealing the original versions security flaw. Would love to have a smaller model for my needs but this would be great with a medium plus size handgun.

> 3 dayI had read about this before buying, so I knew what to expect when it arrived. For what I use it for, this works very well. It is plastic, so as far as durability goes, it can certainly be broken into if one had the opportunity. That being said, its made very well and Im impressed with the design. I typically have one handgun out of my large safe and use this when my granddaughter is around. It is secured to the cable tether and hidden away from her, but easy for me to access quickly if I need it. So for that purpose, this is great.

> 3 dayOverall this product is great especially for traveling. It gives you several ways to unlock the device which is very nice. There is nothing worse than being locked out of your device when you need it. I bought this product to use initially only when I was traveling, since it is TSA Approved. But it really grew on me and it now has replaced my regular at home lock box. So I would recommend it, that being said that are two things you need to be aware of with this product. (1). The Generation 1 version of this product has a product default where the vault can be opened up using a fork to reset the combo ( https://youtu.be/T5YsZLJ5FjY ). The good news is that Vaultek watched the video and fixed the problem in their second generation products. If you are sold one of the first generation models like I was you can contact the company and they will send you a removable plastic plate to cover up the reset button. Thereby solving the problem. So good on them for listening to customer feedback and addressing the issue. (2). If youre going to be using the custom foam insert for this product and I recommend you do. It might start to wear down over time. This is an issue with all pluck and play foam. You can easily fix this issue by spraying the foam with Plasti Dip so it holds up better over time and looks more professional. Its like a stray rubber and was super easy to put on, there are videos all over the internet showing you how to do it. But after addressing those small issues this box is now pretty much perfect. Ive had it for a while now and I use it every day without any issues. I would recommend it to all my friends.

> 3 dayThis is a great bedside safe for my firearm. I see a lot of people mentioning the fork issue here. That’s no longer a problem and I’ve confirmed it. Another thing I see people mentioning is that is can be opened with a flathead screwdriver and the fact it doesn’t include a security cable. The cheaper model doesn’t include the cable because not everyone wants/needs to lock it down. If you get a special edition for a couple bucks more (I did) the cable comes with it, along with a lid organizer and pluck foam. To people saying they can open it with a flathead screwdriver, I wanna see it. Post a video. I doubt that this could be opened with a screwdriver. If you need a stronger safe, spend more than 100 bucks. Beggars can’t be choosers. Overall, just a good product at a good price. Fits expectations for the money.

> 3 dayI needed a small side table safe for my firearm. This covers that and then some. So far I have had no issues locking or unlocking the unit. I do enjoy how small the unit is which allows for easy transport from home to vehicle then back. The only thing that I find odd is the lid foam. I think they cut it backward. By this I mean you have one side that is flat and the other side that is bumpy. The bottom piece is correct where that flat part is tucked in while the bumpy part is where you put your items. The top lid foam is backwards causing the foam to not want to stay in the lid. If you note how its cut, it only fits one way. This could also be intentionally cut this way but Id prefer my items to be placed in between two bumpy sides of foam. Hopefully the pictures allow this to make better sense. Otherwise I find this little thing secure enough to not allow my kid to access it and small enough to carry anywhere. Lock and clamps work well so far. I am very pleased with this little safe and may cut ancor we off the lid foam so I can fit it into lid better.

> 3 dayI am not happy with this product as I received an opened already locked box with no key, no cable....I didnt pay $140 for half of a used item....if I get a new replacement I will update this as maybe I can actually see how the item works.

Greater than one weekMy daughter lives in an apartment with a friend. This was a gift just to give her a place to keep small things safe.
