Missing cable and keys. Follow-up from initial review... I contacted Vaultek and their customer service is awesome. They fixed Amazon’s mistake of not mentioning these accessories as missing in the open-box item and mailed keys and accessories the same day they received my message. I think highly of a company with good customer service and am a Vaultek fan. After a week with my first product from them; impressed with the lifepod; it will be an important safety tool among others to keep safe in different scenarios. I plan to use this when we travel both my car and boat.

I paid a little more for this just because the manufacturer was out of stock. Happy with the sellers quick delivery and service. Like the title says, it does what it was designed for. I havent used it for travel yet but it feels like that it will do the job nicely. It will be perfect for some planned upcoming trips. Simple but perfect packaging. Would buy again from this seller in the future.

The issues with the program button have been resolved. The security cable is 24 instead of the 18 original. Fits nicely under the passenger side front seat for easy access. Cable is long enough to place Lifepod on seat while loading and unloading the firearm. Very well build and will make it very hard for a snatch and grab thief to get away with your valuables. Given time, access and tools, there is no perfectly safe options but this works for 99.99% of all others.

I really like this case option over my current steel case with traditional key lock. Its so much easier to access and much quicker than digging in my pocket for my keys to open it up. The buttons arent really buttons, theyre touch sensitive which are really responsive as well. I didnt think I would like this thing as much as I do. Its large enough for my P365XL with optic mounted. Also theres enough room to tuck in an extra mag or two as well. Im able to also fit the P365XL inside with my We The People holster. Its tight thickness wise and I have to squash the unit down to engage the lock but it will close and lock. What I dont like is the provided cable that comes with it. Its REALLY short! I usually tether my box to the seat rails under my drivers seat. With my current box I can open and close it on my lap and tuck it away under the seat after. This cable being so short forces me to keep it on the floor to open and close it. Im now going to have to purchase the 4 cable that they sell which should actually be included in the first place. The cable that comes with it is Im guessing a foot and a half long.

One of the Best gun safes in the business and was able to board airplane with no problems. I even dropped the safe down about 20 concrete steps, I was so afraid but safe barely had a scratch and it’s still functioning properly. A+ to the makers

This is a fantastic portable strong box. It’s great to keep kids out of your stuff and keeps people from doing the smash and grab in your car. I have a 1.0 and it fits my p365 XL with an optic and the 12 rd mag inserted and the 15 rd mag next to it just fine. Nothing bigger though. A stock G20 won’t even think about fitting. It throws in a backpack really well. The security cable that comes with it is fairly short and it has egg carrier foam. There will be enough for your needs but it isn’t pick and pluck. You’ll have to pay an additional 35 for a lid organizer, pick and pluck foam and 6” cable. They sent it to the lock picking lawyer and he found a security breach and they fixed it. Features I like: electronic security code, side latches so you can have it shut tight without locking it, carry strap, microusb power port if the battery fails, lock can’t be picked, water proof seal It’s as secure as a “portable” lock box can be.

The touch buttons are super responsive. Works as a travel safe for your firearm and as a fast access safe for the house that easily keeps the kids out. Contrary to the reviews on here, it will work as a fast access safe as long as you leave the side latches unlatched. Fits my shield plus and one extra mag perfectly.
