Greater than one weekI use the bag/box setup to store my CCW firearm in my truck while Im at work. This combo comes with multiple cables to attach however you want. I connected mine with the thinner cable to my truck seat and tuck it underneath. Does the trick. Solid box, looks good. The bag is a nylon material similar to a heavy rain jacket. Well made and has just enough storage for other EDC items. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayPerfect to keep your subcompact/compact pistol away from your kids and for car storage when I cannot carry into a certain building. I wanted something that had a digital lock for faster access than something like a masterlock when it’s in the bedroom. Got the special edition cuz I love the olive drab color and I wanted the 4’ cable(which is thinner than I thought, but that’s okay) I have a super nice hiding spot in my car for it. I carry while driving normally so I don’t need fast access in my car. This could fit a compact but you can tell it’s meant for a subcompact. If I take out the fancy foam I can fit my shield with my extended 10rd mag along with an 8 AND 7 round mag (26 rounds of 9!) and a mag holder WITH my holster which is nice how I can throw my whole rig in there! Built well! The Manual key can unlock but not lock which is strange but not a dealbreaker. Don’t let these people that say it’s cheap plastic fool you. It’s a travel safe anyhow. Vaultek is quality.

21-11-2024I like this safe. Its relatively easy to to use. Nice and compact for portability. My only gripe is with the plastic latches on the sides. If you want quick access to whats inside, these should stay unlatched. But then youre stuck with them just hanging there, awkwardly in the way. To bad there isnt an easy way to remove them. Other than that, its a nice little safe.

> 3 daySo I had bought the LifePod 2.0 assuming that surely my Heckler & Koch USP 40 wouldnt fit inside of the, small let alone fit the gun with the magazine removed (required in California for transport unless you have a CCW) and a spare mag. I liked it well enough, it certainly fit the pistol and multiple mags comfortably. That resulted in my buying the smaller unit in case I carry one of my more compact pistols. Suffice to say after a bit of futzing and faffing about I was floored, I never needed the 2.0 in the first place and unless youre carrying a P226 or a 1911 or something you mightnt need the larger unit either. The thing is huge, the size of this one is MUCH more manageable. Anyhow enough chatter, the above picture shows a full sized USP and 3 mags, thats a total of 40 rounds worth of, blows a lung right out of the body moving clockwise from there youve got a Sig P226 Enhanced Elite with 2 mags, next up is a S&W M&P Shield with a single spare mag and itd certainly hold 2 if you stood them on side and finally a Sig P938 Equinox with 2 mags and again you could get more mags in the thing if need be. While were at it, this bag is the perfect size to carry the case, maybe a box of ammo and a few other items and its cheap to boot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y6949RT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
