> 24 hourPer VaulteK: Vaultek is headquartered in Orlando, FL. All safes are designed in the US, and manufactured according to Vaultek specifications overseas. I would have preferred a USA made safe, but could not find one comparable. Happy with the safe. By far the lightest I could find. It fit a Glock 19 with 2 clips. Easy to program. Two keys and 24 cable. The 24 cable seems kinda short to work with. They offer a 48 cable. Seems something in between would be better provided with the unit. I could see Vaultek expanding their line to include a larger unit as well and fingerprint access. I compromised on not having the biometric fingerprint access, though the unit is quick to access. Most impressed with Amazon. I pinched the button just before midnight. When I got up at 7 am the wife said I had a delivery on the deck. I wish Amazon would indicate the nation of mfg.

> 24 hourFor a $60 safe I would say it’s a great value. I only give 4 stars for durability because it is plastic so if someone wanted to break into it they would get in but its better than a handgun left unsecured in the car. I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old and now that they are getting good at climbing and opening things it’s not worth the possible risk to my children or anyone for that matter if it’s not locked up. This fits my needs perfectly. Small enough to be easy for travel and camping. Fits in a small bag and for me came with everything in the picture. Also nice to put my ID CPL and a debit card in when I don’t feel like having my whole wallet. That being said I purchased this for a Glock 19. It fits well with a spare mag I have extra foam in it so it fits snug but has plenty of room without the foam. I did order 2 more 4’ cables from their website for $15 each and have one in each vehicle. So I can have it locked and secured in the vehicle if someone was to break a window. Again if they wanted in it and have half a mind for how tools work they will get in. But it can prevent a quick B&E and keeps my curious children safe. I also purchased a $30 Apple AirTag and threw it into the case. It’s not exactly a GPS but I live in a city where lots and lots of people own Apple devices and it seems to get pinged pretty regularly and you can set up notifications on your phone. So if it was to grow legs I would have a window of time to track it and get location data to the police. Not the best option but much better than nothing.

> 24 hourI actually wish this was a little smaller for the ruger LCP is store inside. Love how fast you can key in access code. Side locks are a pain when you leave this on the shelf and open it multiple times a day but I have found them to not be necessary to lock side locks when left on the shelf(directions suggest always having side locks latched when locking/unlocking). The directions stated that the model I received was the updated lock that will not allow code to be reset with door locked as seen in several YouTube videos revealing the original versions security flaw. Would love to have a smaller model for my needs but this would be great with a medium plus size handgun.

> 24 hourThe technology is cool its not really something for permanent security but more for temporary like moving around or carrying your pistol. My only gripe and its not a huge one is that it can barely barely hold my sig 226. it holds my airweight smith and wesson though without issue but check the measurements its a tight fit.

> 24 hourI purchased this to hold a handgun, especially for travel. I purchased the special edition which came with the steel cable, lid organizer, and the pluck foam interior. The case itself functions great and was easy to set up. The keys worked but I opted to disable the key access. One thing I didn’t really consider at the time of purchase but ended up liking quite a bit was the pluck foam. The pluck foam is good quality. I’ve had cases with cheap pluck foam in the past where the foam pieces would fall off easily. The pluck foam included in the special edition LifePod held together great and allowed me to open a perfectly sized slot for a handgun and a magazine. It also came with the regular foam insert too if you choose not to use the pluck one. The case is a good size and can fit into a backpack however, it’s not exactly small enough to just cram in your pack on top of everything else. Even though it’s plastic, the case is heavier than it appeared, especially with a handgun and magazine inside, but it gives the case a sturdy feel. Be mindful that the inside of the case is small. It just barely fits a subcompact handgun and a magazine. That’s about it unless you’re also using the lid organizer for holding cards or small documents. The case is working great for what I’m using it for.

> 24 hourI ordered this as I travel a lot figured is would be very useful for home and travel. Although I did have a small issue with the original LifePod received the support team at Vaultek was helpful it making sure the LifePod worked the way it is designed to work. I would recommend this and if anyone has issues just contact Vaultek support they are helpful and very patient.

> 24 hourLikes: Portability, one-button-hold to lock, opens quickly, charging cable feature permits powering device in the event battery expires Fits compact or sub-compact. I am able to fit compact (w/ no attachments) plus additional mag. Room for improvement: - Advertised as “airtight, dust proof, water resistant” and it’s not. I have not left this in the rain, but dust and air are able to enter; it’s not airtight. Perhaps their newer models are better. - While I haven’t tried, I’m quite certain this safe can be easily defeated with a sledgehammer (it’s mostly plastic and the hinges seem weak). - The lid organizer add-on is a gimmick if you plan to use this to hold a firearm. I can fit my passport and that’s about it. If you do not plan to use this safe for a firearm, but to hold valuables, then I suppose the lid organizer would be handy. My only dislike is the price. I don’t feel the value received matches the price tag. If you’re looking for a small, portable safe, this a decent option.

> 24 hourI bought this lock box in order to be able to secure valuables under the seat in my car. This lock box has proven to be excellent. First, it is very easy to open and lock. I wanted something that would not be a pain to operate and this definitely fits the bill. Secondly, this case is quite secure when locked. While I am not a professional thief, it seems very solid. Overall, for the price paid, I believe that this is one of the better options for lock boxes. I highly recommend it.

> 24 hourExcellent product for a small portable safe. Not too big. The instructions to program it could use a little work, but it’s not impossible to figure out. Great gift for a first time gun owner.
