> 24 hourI have Mac Pro. I used type-c data cable that came with package, and the one which I have bought separately which is designed for both power, video/audio transfers. Both didnt work. Gladly I have HDMI adaptor through with monitor is working. I am planning to return as I bought this especially for type-c.

> 24 hourThe monitor works well with my macbook. It charges the computer via the USBC and has USB ports for the keyboard and for the iphone. The issue is that it is only 2k. This is not enough for such a large screen. Still 5 stars since it works as advertised.

> 24 hourBe aware the monitor does not support the advertised refresh rate of 75 hertz.

> 24 hourGood entry level monitor for business. I like that I can adjust the height and tilt in so many ways. Picture quality pretty good. Only thing I dont like is the menu tree is not very intuitive. Overall a good choice.

> 24 hourWorks pretty well except the constant red pixel in the middle of the screen. fortunately, it is only one so far.. but still disappointing Edit: I purchased 2 of these monitors and the second monitor now has a dead pixel after 11 months

> 24 hourSimpy amazing! This monitor with USB-C turned THREE cables into one!! Its complete eliminated the cable clutter on my desktop. Before I had hooked up to my Dell XPS 13 9380 the following: one USB-C cable for display, one USB-C converted to USB-A through an adapter for my peripherals, and another USB-C cable for charging. Now a SINGLE USB-C cable hooked up to this monitor does all three things! One single USB-C cable hooked up to this monitor provides power, drives the monitor, and the built-in USB hub in the monitor all works! Simultaneously!! Just make sure you get the right USB-C cable, with USB-PD and 10 Gbps Gen 2 like this one recommended by another reviewer on here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L0F6AJI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Sorry if this sounds like a fake review, but Im just honestly pleased with this monitor. If I would give 6 stars, I would.

> 24 hourI have a 13 Macbook Pro from 2016. With just the included USB C cable (monitor to computer) and the included power cable (wall to monitor), you can power the monitor, keep the computer charged, and plug your peripherals into the monitor directly. Those peripherals receive power (e.g. charging a usb power bank) and also can talk to your computer (e.g. a USB webcam) if needed. I was searching for a while for a monitor that supports 2K resolutions (the most this Macbook Pro can pump out), charging the computer over the data cable, and transmits the USB signal from peripherals downstream to the computer. This does all of it! Super happy with this purchase and it comes at a great cost.

> 24 hourExcellent monitor for the price range. The USB Type C connection is very reliable and allows you to connect a USB-C laptop with only 1 cable and if you are using it for a non-USB-C device, you can connect with HDMI or DP and also connect the USB Type B cable to activate the USB Type A hub on the monitor. The USB hub is great if you have multiple devices you switch between like work and personal laptops and want them to instantly connect to other USB devices (like a docking station). I keep my USB wireless adapters for the mouse and keyboard plugged in the monitor and just switch the laptops when needed. I use it with my HP Elite X2 and by connecting it with the USB-C cable, I get the following: 1) Charges the laptop and keeps it at 100% while using it. 2) Delivers HD video and audio to the monitor without the need for HDMI or DP cables. 3) Activates the USB hub in the monitor (3 additional USB Type A ports for the computer) without the need to connect the USB Type B cable. My only disappointment is the sound. The built in speakers are so weak that you can barely hear anything. So just pretend they dont exist and get external speakers or a soundbar.

> 24 hourI performed so much research on these monitors, as I have some at work and wanted some for home office. Very confusing to research these as their model numbering is difficult. First, I really like these monitors, which is why I bought x2 for home (vg2755 1080). The daisy chaining is awesome, which comes to my 1 star rating. The xx55s dont allow you to! Absolute nonsense as VS markets the awesomeness of USB-C allowing you dock the monitors to each other (which these monitors are usb-c). You have to get at least x1 xx56 and then connect a second monitor such as the xx55. But wait, there is more! Not all xx56s let you!!! It looks like the 4k version does not, but the 2k does? and what of the size differences? I am sorry to give such a low score to something I like but that marketing needs to be far more truthful in what they are advertising.
