Bought this because I was tired of staring into a 13” laptop screen. Definitely a huge upgrade and a reasonable price. I docked it 1 star because the DP port recently started acting weird even though it was fine when it first came but luckily there 3 more HDMI ports for connectivity. I have 2 laptops that I switch between. One Mac, one PC... and there are no issues recognizing the external display for either OS. I can’t attest to any of the gaming abilities as I only use this to see my timeline when I’m producing music. The color looks great and you further dial in the colors to your liking. Haven’t experienced any latency issues

I never had a fancy type monitor, so this feels great. I havent had any issues with it. The menu is a bit difficult to figure out but not impossible . In case you are like me and bought a VESA mount to attach it to, be sure to keep the screw extender thingies to put into the holes (it came with them) and then it is easy peasy to mount to VESA mount ( I have the oval back model). I am writing this review because it took me a half hour to figure that out and was about angry when I found the old box and realized they did indeed include the screws needed for this!!! And there are other reviews that said the oval back monitor cannot be VESA mounted, but I found that to be untrue.

My monitor works just fine. If you’re on the fence about it and are looking for better than the baseline but not top of the line, I’d say go for it. I picked it because it was a good value for a curved monitor. Personally, I love it. I never thought I could afford a “fancy” monitor, though this was still a little out of my price range. I don’t use it for gaming, unfortunately, so can’t speak to that, but videos and documents look great on it. No missing pixels. HDMI cord (not included) had some problems staying connected - could be an issue with the monitor’s port but I’m not sure. The little tabs on the back plastic panel broke off when I was first putting it together, but that was my fault probably, and doesn’t really make a difference (just exposes the cords in the back a bit). Despite these concerns, I’m still quite happy with the purchase.

This was an impulse purchase for me. I knew I was going to buy a new graphics card and that the new RTX 30xx series was going to be a huge step up from my old card. I wasnt seriously considering monitors -just window shopping and dreaming-, but the price for this one, plus the previous ratings, and most importantly the zero-dead-pixel policy grabbed my attention. Ive been very happy with it so far. The color and brightness are great, the response time is good enough for serious gaming, and it arrived without a single dead pixel. Gaming has been a pleasure on it, although my old GTX 960 is straining a bit at the higher resolution (1440p) while Im stuck on a waiting list for my new graphics card. The only minor issue Ive had is that some videos have noticeable horizontal striping when the recording doesnt quite match the high 144MHz refresh rate. Most videos look fine, but some stuff on social media looks bad. But overall this is an easy recommendation if youre looking for a 2k gaming monitor.

Okay so Ive had the Viotek 32in curved monitor for about a month and I can honestly say its a really nice monitor for its price. The colors pop, the whites are blindly white, and it has a really deep black for a VA monitor. There are only really 3 small issues I have with it... The first is the connections are a little hard to get to as they are up insde the back of the monitor with means you have to place it flat on its face to reach them which isnt a great idea on a curved monitor. The second is the monitor says its G-Sync compatible, but it isnt G-Sync certified by Nvidia as G-Sync compatible. I had to contact Nvidia when I first plugged into my RTX3070 card it didnt register as G-Sync enabled in Windows 10. As it turned out, you have to turn on FreeSync in the monitors menu to enable G-Sync compatibility, something that isnt mentioned in the monitors instructions. The FreeSync is also buried in the menus so you have to kinda search for it. The last thing is Vioteks claim that the monitor is free of dead pixels, but if you even find one, they will replace the monitor free of charge, no questions asked. I found a dead pixel and contacted them 3 weeks ago and they have yet to respond, so be aware that they might not respond to you if you try contacting them through their website. I did a little searching and other people have had the same issue and those that did get a response were told they have to go through the company they bought it from to get a replacement, not Viotek(unless you bought it from them directly). I find it odd that they offer the 3 yr replacement warranty for dead pixels, but they want the company you bought it from to be the ones to replace the monitor. I did let the company I bought it from know that it shipped with a dead pixel, but have yet to hear back from them either. Overall it is a really good monitor and luckily the dead pixel in on then far left bottom corner so its really that noticable on a curved monitor, but if it was on a flat monitor it would probably annoy most gamers. I took one star off the overall because of the lack of response from Viotek.

The monitor itself has no issues from what I can tell, being true to itself: a curved 1440p 165hz gaming monitor. Thats why this isnt 1 or 2 stars The main issue I have is that my DisplayPort suddenly went out without any sort of help (rough movements, voltage changes, etc) and Ive only had this monitor for 4 months. Luckily I was able to use one of the TWO HDMI ports on the back to get it back up and running again. Why theres two HDMI and not two DisplayPorts is beyond me. Mind you, through HDMI, these monitors only reach 75hz, LESS THAN HALF their rated max refresh rate. At least I can still use the monitor until I can get a new one. Low rating for shoddy internal manufacturing.

Died after 2 years :(

Ive had this monitor for about 2 months, and so far its great. I game a bit, but not needing to spend too much on a high spec monitor. This one does everything I need, looks great and Ive had no issues. I wanted a large screen 32 or bigger, 144hz refresh rate and 1440 resolution, this one checked all those boxes and at a very competitive price. Its no frills on the stand and other features...but honestly who cares? I dont mess with my monitor after its set up. No dead pixels, no glaring weaknesses. Looks great. If you do some gaming but dont want to break the bank, this one is a no brainer.

Ok, so this is day 1. I realize things may change over time, but right out of the box I am loving this monitor. Zero dead pixels. Beautiful colors and sharpness. Playing Division 2 and the change from my previous 24 Asus monitor is just ridiculous. I feel like Im gaming at a movie theater. I am no expert and dont have any tools to measure things like response rate, but I sure havent noticed any ghosting or lag or anything. It plays super smooth. It defaulted to 2560x1440 when I hooked it up, although at 60hz. It was simple to change it to 120 or 144hz though in my graphics settings. I read a couple of reviews from people saying the monitor was a little dark even at 100% brightness. I have no idea what they were seeing, but this came set to 90% from the factory and it was so bright I couldnt stand to look at it. I have turned it all the way down to 20% and its now comfortable on my eyes. YMMV but its way more than bright enough for me. All the features are working. The audio out for my headphones is fine. Display port and HDMI ports (all 3) work. Picture in Picture works great. i have my work laptop connected as a second input and can switch between it ansd my personal PC easily. One thing to note, there is a Picture Beside Picture option for dual inputs where the screen is halved and you can see both inputs at the same time. It works, but it screws the resolution up where everything so distorted its not really useable. Ive fiddled with other (lower) resolutions but that didnt help much. Maybe Ill try a custom resolution if I can set it. 1280x1440 might work. Overall I am extremely pleased at the initial experience. I was a little worried that a cheap, lesser known brand monitor might have issues but its solid and beautiful. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

So while I noticed a lot of reviews have dead pixels, so far Im not among them. While this particular monitor doesnt have all the bells and whistles youd might expect on a higher end panel, there is a distinct lack of ghosting, which Im very happy with. Theres some dimming on edges, but its not dramatic and it pairs well with my Samsung 4k QLED monitor, right out of the box. The brightness is good, not so terrible that it melts the eyes out of their sockets, but not so dim that dark colors in game dont lose too much detail. Keep in mind, this isnt a panel featuring HDR, so you wont get extremely high definition shadows, but all in all, you are paying a good price at around $300 for this model. Oh, and VESA mounting is pretty much necessary. the default stand is pretty rigid, but it does come with some rather sketchy looking stand-offs for the VESA mount conversion, and so far it isnt sagging under the considerable weight of this 32 inch beast, so thats pretty impressive. The only real improvement Id ask for is a USB slot, but otherwise, this somewhat spartan gaming panel is perfect for higher-end, mid range rigs running 5700XT or RTX 2070 level graphics cards.
