27in 2560x1440 144hz Decided to take a gamble on this monitor. When I first Plugged it in with the HDMI cable I was was using prior I was getting black screen flickering and random pixels flickering green (whenever I had it set to 144hz. which is what I bought this one for!) Switching it to 120Hz made it seem to work ok. So I rearranged the orientation of my office and brought the Tower to the other side of the corner gaming desk so I could try out the DP cable that the monitor came with. (Its not the longest of cables) As soon as I did that. I got it to work great. No flickering at 144hz. I am now very relieved. Brightness is on the dark side and some things look darker than Id prefer. But for $250. Im happy.

So Im not sure if its considered motion blur, but whenever theres movement in a game theres a motion blur effect. I find it very annoying...thankfully I dont use it and the person who does doesnt care. Other than that, its a good monitor. Nice size, seems to have good color and it supports 1440p.

Ive purchased five of these monitors for myself and immediate family members over the past three years. Zero dead pixels, great picture quality, and no problems encounetered with these monitors so far. You cant beat the specs and quality for this price range.

THE BAD: * There is a BEVEL, or a black dead zone surrounding the screen. No, seriously. Look at the review images and you can see about 1/3 bevel on the top and both sides of the screen, despite just being part of the screen.... This is NOWHERE in the product images here on Amazon nor on Vioteks own website. * The color settings on the monitor are way too dark and crude, its seemingly impossible to match the brightness and color settings with my other monitors. This holds true AFTER installing the ICC settings from Vioteks website, and messing around with all the built-in settings. THE GOOD: * Zero dead pixels, and if there had been any, Viotek would have replaced the monitor without hassle. * Monitor came with a cable, so no fretting over am I using the right type of cable to get 144Hz Overall, I regret choosing this monitor over other options due to the 2 BAD bullet points. I wouldnt say completely avoid this product, but certainly be aware of these two hidden but major downsides..

This product was exactly what I was looking for. I didnt realize how bad the resolution on my other monitor was until I started using this one. The picture on the screen is crisp and clean. When gaming I can see a lot more than I could on my previous monitors. I also havent had any studdering/lag when working, streaming or playing a game on maximum settings. I use this for gaming and work. The curved screen and different picture options (e.g. warm, cool, standard, etc.) have definitely made my eyes feel less strained at the end of the day. This is definitely one of the better monitors out there, especially for the price. Only thing is that I did not realize how big the screen actually was until I had it set up on my desk. The stand in the box is very sturdy but also takes up a good amount of room. Id recommend also getting a stand that mounts to your desk to free up some space.

I play games but this was more for day trading so i didnt want to spend too much for a larger monitor. I have a previous model from viotek as well, the gn32dr. Compring the 2, i like the licture quality and brightness on this model but the stand is definitely lower quality. The older model was a tripod that took up a good chunk of desk space but was SOLID....that thing never moves/wobbles. This model is only a 2 leg stand and the monitor when a train comes by my house. Although it has some movement, its not to the point of concern where you think it will fall off or anything like that; its just not quite as stable as the previous model. That being said this was about $70 cheaper than that model so investing in a mount may be a way to fix that if its an issue for you. No dead pixels, had it out of box and usable within 5 minutes or so. I would definitely buy this again. Viotek is a nice budget brand for good quality and high refresh rate without spending >$400+ 3 year no dead pixel warranty made me feel comfortable making this purchase. Just something to consider....some people are hard to please and some of the bad reviews i read were nitpicky and not things i would be concerned about like response being 4ms vs 1ms and the brightness, which i see nothing wrong with. Picture quality looks good to me and fit my budget. No complaints here after 2 weeks of use. Ill update if anything changes

I needed monitor that was bright, didnt hurt my eyes looking at it 10-12 hours a day ( I work from home - IT Security). This absolutely delivered and didnt break the bank. I had never heard of this company before and thought I would give is a chance. I am happy I did!! As for gaming, I tried it just to see since I already had another 32 for gaming. This was crisp and the G-Sync worked like a champ! I may get another of these for my workspace.

The monitor itself has no issues from what I can tell, being true to itself: a curved 1440p 165hz gaming monitor. Thats why this isnt 1 or 2 stars The main issue I have is that my DisplayPort suddenly went out without any sort of help (rough movements, voltage changes, etc) and Ive only had this monitor for 4 months. Luckily I was able to use one of the TWO HDMI ports on the back to get it back up and running again. Why theres two HDMI and not two DisplayPorts is beyond me. Mind you, through HDMI, these monitors only reach 75hz, LESS THAN HALF their rated max refresh rate. At least I can still use the monitor until I can get a new one. Low rating for shoddy internal manufacturing.

My monitor works just fine. If you’re on the fence about it and are looking for better than the baseline but not top of the line, I’d say go for it. I picked it because it was a good value for a curved monitor. Personally, I love it. I never thought I could afford a “fancy” monitor, though this was still a little out of my price range. I don’t use it for gaming, unfortunately, so can’t speak to that, but videos and documents look great on it. No missing pixels. HDMI cord (not included) had some problems staying connected - could be an issue with the monitor’s port but I’m not sure. The little tabs on the back plastic panel broke off when I was first putting it together, but that was my fault probably, and doesn’t really make a difference (just exposes the cords in the back a bit). Despite these concerns, I’m still quite happy with the purchase.

It is what it advertises it is which is great and I like it however I thought this was 1ms response time because thats what I was searching for on amazon right but after buying it and looking back over it looks to be between 4-6 which is still fine and I can not tell a difference however I just wish it was more apparent that is 4ms not 1 somewhere in the description. It also does not have speakers which I found inconvenient because my old monitor did but I got some speakers for it and I like it a lot. The curve is a lot easier to get used to then I thought it would be. There is also a setting in the options that says response time and the options for it is off, low, medium, high, of which I have no idea what it does and if I should have it on low high or off and havent been able to find much info about it online.
