Update: Im returning the monitor, and not sure yet whether Ill replace it with the same thing or go a different brand. Issue Im having is input signal sometimes gets lost, and/or takes a full minute or two to respond to a new signal. Their customer service is great so far but it seems I might have a defective unit. Below is my original review: First off I bought the GNV32DB (32 144Hz 2K), since most people forget that reviews just land on the page and we dont know which model you bought. I just set it up and Im not blown away or anything but Im also not disappointed at all. Which is VERY positive when were talking about a sub $300 32 gaming monitor. Pros: -Mine arrived with no dead or stuck pixels; I ran it through a few tests and it passed nearly all with flying colors. The unit I got has little or no flaws. Thats a relief because on virtually every brand monitor sold at every store, dead pixels arent uncommon to see in reviews. -Easy to set up on the pedestal, then just plug & play with minimal settings changes needed. -Picture quality and refresh rate seem good so far. Response time is difficult to test but seems as expected. Cons: -While I seem to have gotten a well-manufactured unit free of dead pixels, it isnt perfect...I do have areas of brightness blotches (backlight seeping through a bit more in some areas than others) in the corners and lower parts of the screen; its only visible on very dark or black screens like while idle and shows up as like a slight cloudiness or fog on the black background. I was going to try to post photos but honestly its not worth photographing because its hard to get on camera, it blends with room glare on the screen and looks a lot worse in photos than it does in real life. Again, only something you notice when the screen is completely black (or nearly). And honestly its not so bad of an issue that Id consider telling Viotek about it, because from experience that just happens sometimes on new monitors and a replacement might not even be better if they cover it. -The onscreen menu is a bit confusing, and the manual that covers the menu settings is very poor. I had to chat with a Viotek rep to figure out how to make sure it was in 4ms(OC) mode for response time, since the settings just said Response time: Off, Low, Middle, or High, so it was unclear which option meant the best or lowest time (turns out High=fastest 4ms). It would also be nice to have more LED settings, like changing the color of the rear red LED, or switching off the blue power indicator LED thats projected downward from the power button (your only option is for the rear red LED: on, off, or flashing). Thats all there is to tell right now, Ill update if anything changes cause these are just my first impressions. I will add that the Viotek rep I chatted with was great, very helpful and quick.

Ive purchased five of these monitors for myself and immediate family members over the past three years. Zero dead pixels, great picture quality, and no problems encounetered with these monitors so far. You cant beat the specs and quality for this price range.

This monitor is the best monitor I have ever used in my entire 40 years of using computer hardware. It has brilliant colors, a beautiful design, a rugged stand and super performance. There are a lot of adjustments you can make in the menu to tweak the way the monitor looks and performs. And setting up for G-sync was simple and is working great, even though Nvidia states that this monitor isnt validated as G-sync compatible. Anyone who reports poor visual quality or performance hasnt taken the time to set the monitor up properly. I love this monitor so much that it is now difficult to work on a smaller or non-curved monitor! And games look and perform beautifully. Attached is a screen shot of Wolfenstein working with all the highest settings enabled and it is running in full screen at top speed. This is the monitor you want to buy if you were holding out for a reasonably priced big curved monitor. I cant say enough great things about it.

This is my first 144 hrtz screen so I think its awesome its definitely nice to be able to play games at 1440p now as well the only thing I dont like is theres definitely a bit of ghosting going on and the colors could be better but other than that its pretty cool and I like it

I threw this away a couple months ago & didnt decide to leave a review until now. Basically, I purchased this monitor & within 2 months there was 3 deadlines on the top of my monitor that would glitch out every time I tried using it. It was not a GPU/CPU/PC issue as I tried this on MULTIPLE computers & received the exact same issue. When contacting support I was told they would fix it but I would have to pay for the shipping for them to fix it. As much as I can understand WHY I had to- I already spent MONEY on this monitor assuming it would work properly. Overall, bad product in my eyes which really sucks because before this I LOVED Viotek. In fact, I still use their 24inch 144fps as my daily driver.

with a little tweaking of the settings, this monitor can look pretty good and fits the bill for a standard 1440p 27 workstation monitor. any gamers looking for a high quality experience with the 144hz refresh rate be weary, though--- in comparison to 120hz monitors that ive own from top brand monitors, this one feels extremely blurry. while the response time feels very good, the refresh rate does NOT feel like a 144hz monitor. it must be something to do with pixel responsiveness being low. after testing across multiple games and applications, i would say this monitor decidedly looks and feels like its actually running at about 90-100hz from a visual standpoint. the monitor says its running at 144hz at all resolutions, but it just isnt quite as good as anything youll get from benq, lg, gigabyte, asus, or acer--- that i have tried. the clarity on extremely high framerate games is not there in comparison over competitors, and it is extremely obvious, its not really even close, its very blurry. for a budget workstation monitor with professional oriented applications, this monitor feels very good, the colors exceeded my expectations with a lot of tweaking to the profiles, but failed dramatically for me in terms of gaming performance. Fortunately my old gaming monitors are still perfectly functional and I can keep this for work projects, but overall wish I would have just gotten a monitor with comparable resolution and size, but give up the 144hz for 60hz in exchange for a more reputable brand name at the same price, either that or spent about 50-100 extra for a comparable 144hz 27 1440p from a more reputable brand.

Just received the monitor last night, my initial thoughts were not good. The first thing I did after opening the box was go to set up this monitor for mounting it to a bracket. When you pull the backplate off you have to remove 4 screws that are place holders I assume? This isnt explained well in the instructions but because of where they are and the curve of the monitor you are provided with 4 extension nuts to put in those slots which make it easier for you to mount a bracket to it and create the separation needed. However the set screws on the top and the bottom are at different depths but the extensions are all the same length which when fully tightened the top 2 are longer than the bottom too and it just doesnt seem to work after 15 mins of pure frustration I said screw it and just used the stand provided. I am going to do more reserach today on mounting this to a bracket and update my review. Outside of that the menu is a little confusing at first but once you figure it out its fine, build quality is what you would expect for paying 279 USD you can tell where they skimped on quality for price but honestly its not a big issue like others make it seem on here again for a 32 in 144hz 1440p monitor at this price point what did you expect titanium? Anyway I had no dead pixels but did notice that colors were off when I initially turned on the monitor. After doing a quick windows screen calibration it was good to go (something you have to do for literally any monitor you get). 1ms response time? Dont know where the setting is I have to look around and again this is my initial review picture quality is amazing I have not tested ghosting yet but I put a 3 Start review because I am quite happy but want to get in the settings more and test it on more games before giving a final review. If you are like me and wanted the best (curved) monitor this size at its price point I see no reason not to purchase this item.

I have had this monitor for about a week now and it already has a spot on it that looks like a dead pixel. Also yes I tried rubbing it off and nothing happened.

Good size monitor for 1440p gaming with gsync support, with lots of screen real estate for productivity. I think its a good value. Leave the dynamic brightness turned off, it gets dark when it should get brighter and vice-versa. The only thing I would change is it would be nice to have the option of turning off the rear LED accent light.
