22-11-2024Update on the last review. This monitor is not as advertised. Its maximum refresh rate on 1440p is 100Hz. 144Hz is for 1080p.

> 3 dayDoes exactly what it’s made to do, huge screen is amazing for multi tasking and having different pages open and gaming is phenomenal, the screen is so big you forget the curve is even there. Picture and colors are also very good and 1440 p gaming is very good. I’ve had this monitor for about 3 months now and I was very skeptical because of the bad reviews but almost no problems at all. Only problem I have with it is that I can’t change the brightness through the bios it has so it always stays at 90%, I can change it to 40 percent through the picture mode but that’s basically it so either 90 or 40. I’m glad I bought the monitor even though 32 inches is overkill but the screen is amazing for doing things other than gaming. If you’re that person checking reviews and not knowing whether to buy it or not I’m here to tell you this monitor is worth the buy. (Also monitor goes up to 144hz like it’s supposed to lol)

> 3 daywith a little tweaking of the settings, this monitor can look pretty good and fits the bill for a standard 1440p 27 workstation monitor. any gamers looking for a high quality experience with the 144hz refresh rate be weary, though--- in comparison to 120hz monitors that ive own from top brand monitors, this one feels extremely blurry. while the response time feels very good, the refresh rate does NOT feel like a 144hz monitor. it must be something to do with pixel responsiveness being low. after testing across multiple games and applications, i would say this monitor decidedly looks and feels like its actually running at about 90-100hz from a visual standpoint. the monitor says its running at 144hz at all resolutions, but it just isnt quite as good as anything youll get from benq, lg, gigabyte, asus, or acer--- that i have tried. the clarity on extremely high framerate games is not there in comparison over competitors, and it is extremely obvious, its not really even close, its very blurry. for a budget workstation monitor with professional oriented applications, this monitor feels very good, the colors exceeded my expectations with a lot of tweaking to the profiles, but failed dramatically for me in terms of gaming performance. Fortunately my old gaming monitors are still perfectly functional and I can keep this for work projects, but overall wish I would have just gotten a monitor with comparable resolution and size, but give up the 144hz for 60hz in exchange for a more reputable brand name at the same price, either that or spent about 50-100 extra for a comparable 144hz 27 1440p from a more reputable brand.

> 3 dayIve bought multiple viotek monitors for myself and others in the past and I stand by them. If you play with the settings you can get the color just right. Used for gaming this is one of the best price vs performance brands on the market. There is better quality out there but for the price you cant argue with viotek.

> 3 dayJust amazing!!!!! I got the 32 one..... dont overthink it....just buy it :)....for the folks who state the monitor isnt appearing in Nvidia Control Panel as Gsync compatible: you MUST enable Freesync from the monitors own OSD menu for it to appear as GSync. 03/16/21 edit***** Just added a picture of Nvidias CP showing the monitor as G-Sync compatible..... this because I noticed there are a few buyers who still say it does fake advertising because they dont know how to enable it..... read above to know how

Greater than one weekIts a great upgrade from my old 1080 60Hz monitor so I have no complaints other than if your desk has a slight wobble to it, the monitor stand will amplify that slightly. Any bump or shake to the surface it is sitting on will make the monitor noticeably wobble.

> 3 dayGreat Picture! minus 1 star because it does not have a built-in camera. could have better set-up instructions.

> 3 dayunlike how many bad critiques from many reviews Ive seen of the GNV27DB, the GNV27DB2 is a much better option. As it is also the second generation of this model, it fixes a lot more of the issues with the original, especially in the display quality. I have been using HDMI 2.0 instead of the DisplayPort cable, and it still does well, but it limits itself to 2k@60fps, although my rig will total output upwards of 2k@240hz without problems. Also, it actually supports HDR unlike many suggested. Cons do show up on the monitor, like the screen having wasted pixel space near the edges, instead of having the screen reach to the edges of the bezel, and so on so forth. overall, I definitely still would recommend this monitor as a cheaper, more affordable 2k 27 monitor

> 3 dayThis product was exactly what I was looking for. I didnt realize how bad the resolution on my other monitor was until I started using this one. The picture on the screen is crisp and clean. When gaming I can see a lot more than I could on my previous monitors. I also havent had any studdering/lag when working, streaming or playing a game on maximum settings. I use this for gaming and work. The curved screen and different picture options (e.g. warm, cool, standard, etc.) have definitely made my eyes feel less strained at the end of the day. This is definitely one of the better monitors out there, especially for the price. Only thing is that I did not realize how big the screen actually was until I had it set up on my desk. The stand in the box is very sturdy but also takes up a good amount of room. Id recommend also getting a stand that mounts to your desk to free up some space.

> 3 dayI threw this away a couple months ago & didnt decide to leave a review until now. Basically, I purchased this monitor & within 2 months there was 3 deadlines on the top of my monitor that would glitch out every time I tried using it. It was not a GPU/CPU/PC issue as I tried this on MULTIPLE computers & received the exact same issue. When contacting support I was told they would fix it but I would have to pay for the shipping for them to fix it. As much as I can understand WHY I had to- I already spent MONEY on this monitor assuming it would work properly. Overall, bad product in my eyes which really sucks because before this I LOVED Viotek. In fact, I still use their 24inch 144fps as my daily driver.
