> 3 dayThe board arrived on time, just like the seller had promised. One wheel was not a smooth as the other 3, but it was an easy fix - just ride the board as is. A youtuber had mentioned that sometimes new boards are not smooth straight out of the box but loosen/get better with a few runs around the block. I have ridden my board for atleast an hour for 3 days now and its so smooth. Since l have ridden any other board before, l cannot offer comparisons. I just wonder what an expert level board feels like in comparison to this entry-level board which has already blown my mind. I am 35 and have never skated before and after reading reviews and watching a lot of youtube videos, l made the decision to get the VOLADOR 42inch Freeride Longboard cruiser. I have had no skating experience whatsoever, but getting on this board has rewarded me with such amazing pleasure - child like pleasure, totally displacing the fear of falling l had.

> 3 dayI wouldnt call myself an expert longboard by any means but I know my way around a board. Getting back into the longboard scene was kind of a wrestle for me. After all its been 15 years and Im in my 30s now. Nevertheless I did a few days of research for myself and my girlfriend. After what felt like enough consideration she got a retrospec drop deck, and I got this Volador. I wanted the maneuverability of a from through and it certainly delivered in that aspect. just out of the box I noticed how much give the board had and it made me a little nervous, but I chalked it up two or more flexible durability and assumed I was ready to go. I rode the board moderately heavily around for around three days. after day one I could hear a distinct rattle in one of my rear bearings which was kind of disappointing but I guess you shouldnt have very high expectations for stock bearings. After day 3 Im riding home and I take a look down the board. It was completely warped. (Photos) Now maybe I expected too much of this board for weight limits. Im 62 and hover around 225-230lbs. all the reviews that I read for the board however made me feel like I was good to go, and to be honest, Ive ridden a lot of different boards and Ive never seen one warp like this. So I guess if youre a light to medium weight rider this is a pretty good board. Seems to have good speed and maneuverability about it and obviously wont break the bank, but if your concern is the durability of it under weight, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Greater than one weekThis is my first time riding a longboard. Like others have said, the board has plenty of flex but I grew up on a fiberglass board decades ago, so this doesnt bother me. It actually helps to absorb bumps and provide stability in my opinion, like a shock absorber. Im 62 and about 210 and reasonably athletic for a well-seasoned dude and Im quickly becoming comfortable on this deck. Other reviews have noted the tight plastic wrapping upon delivery, but mine arrived in a large clear bag. My belief is that it was previously returned, but there was no wear to indicate prior usage. The nuts on all the wheels and the kingpins were relatively loose and required tightening/adjusting. So Im tooling around, trying to rekindle that muscle memory when I hear an awful grinding sound. Back in the day I recall catching a pebble every now and then and I had assumed this is what happened, but when I looked down I see a missing wheel. As the nut was still attached to the truck, and the nylon ball holders and one of the bearing caps was still hanging on the truck as well, I can only assume I was the victim of a seized bearing. All told, for the price, Im very satisfied. Just check or replace your bearings for a better experience.
