Greater than one weekIve had this board for about a month now, and Ive got to say I have no problems with it. Im new to longboarding, so I hear that replacing the bearings should happen on this board, but Ive been using the default ones, and they work really well. I dont have any reason for me to upgrade them myself because I feel I go fast enough, and any difference I can make with the bearings would be a small improvement. I probably will, but since Im new, Im a-okay with the default ones. Also I was concerned with which board would be able to support me. Im a heavy guy weighing from around 240-250. The weight limit from the manufacturer is 250, and I can confirm that this seems to be the case. I never feel like Im going to break the board. Given that, there is a small amount of flex. This was another thing I was initially converned with when purchasing, but the flex isnt a whole lot. It seems to flex for people of all weights, but not that it flexes on me any more than someone who weighs around 150. I really like the flex so that way it absorbs some of the shock from going over cracks or some pebbles or rough ground. The durability is something that is incredible. As someone who is right at the weight limit, I would expect for a board priced at $60 to have some problems show up, but I can confirm, the ride is just as good as the first day I got it. I ride pretty often, and Ive ridden twice on this route that is 10.5 miles. (I would say Ive ridden somewhere in the ball park of 30-45 miles on my board). Everything is great! One thing however, the wheels are pretty hard, so you should watch out for pebbles while riding. Also because of my extensive riding, my white wheels arent white anymore. Its all good, I might be able to restore its initial color after some time of scrubbing. Also the design is really awesome! Koi fish on the top, and the solar system on the bottom! Couldnt get it better than that! I highly recommend this board especially if youre a beginner like me.

> 3 dayDEFINITELY will buy another one again some day for my sister. Bought one for myself and i learned how to long board with this! I dont do any crazy boarding with this but after a year of going over some hills, I can say with confidence that this long board is smooth to ride on, stable, comfortable, easy to learn skateboarding/longboarding with, AND LOOKS AMAZING. Im happy about this purchase. Im 6 ft 2, 210 pounds. I was riding this no problem even when i was 220 pounds! Feels solid and I love this board!!!! EDIT: Still a great board. been using this for more than a year now! Not daily, but when I need it, it rides great!

> 3 dayI bought this to ride to my college classes and I use it all the time. It has held up pretty good and I havent gotten hurt riding it yet. For being an online low price board, I have no complaints.

> 3 dayIve been riding this longboard nearly every day for a couple months. Im in my early 30s and this is the first longboard Ive had, and it was a good choice. The price is great, the board looks and feel good too. I absolutely love the fish design in the grip tape. I can carve on the streets and Ive been using this to commute a mile or so into downtown Boise. I generally take the sidewalks, but I also will ride on the streets when its smooth. I have to say long boarding is quite fun (and a good workout!). Ive been using this board as training until I get an electric Boosted Board, but its so much fun Ill probably keep it even when I dont have to push anymore. The only bad thing Ive noticed about the board is I think maybe the bearings are a little slow? I had some fellow long boarders pass me the other day. Makes me wonder if I should upgrade to some ceramic bearings. Other then that I really enjoy it.

> 3 dayI like this board, I have another VOLADOR and I think they are great boards, especially for their price. I weigh about 190 LBS and it has no problems with fractures or turning at all! I gave this 4 stars for a reason (maybe 2): when looking at the boards, they are altogether seeming that all youre doing is picking out the design, when in reality the sizes are different with the different design patterns. Secondly, it says 40 inch when at the bottom it specifically says 38 inches. Im not really upset at the size of the board, but I am pretty aggravated because I love my 42 inch VOLADOR so much, I wanted to get the exact same size, just a different pattern, and Im even gonna buy another one in a couple days. Im writing this review because these boards are fantastic, i just feel like i was mislead during the process of choosing the pattern. Ill still be ordering more of them, I just hope this allows the process for people in the future to not have this same issue, and just tell me its 38 inches when it clearly says it at the bottom

> 3 dayIm a beginner at longboarding, but Im not one to just buy something that looks cool/pretty assuming it will be good quality. Ive researched a lot regarding what type of deck would be nice for me, and Ive also asked my friends who longboard what I should go with. My area has a lot of slopes and straightaways, so I wanted a board that would be great for cruising but I also didnt want to break the bank, especially since Im only a beginner. Overall, I just wanted a decent board thats affordable and rides well. This board is honestly a pretty nice ride. I was recommended a drop through deck since these are better for cruising and carving, which is all I want lolol. The wheels are alright, they could be better. I figured I just had to break them in by riding for an hour or so, but I loosened them a bit and that made all the difference. I might replace them with something else soon though. As for the trucks, they are a bit tight at first, so if you really want to make smooth turns without lifting and moving the board with your weight at the back, I suggest getting a skate tool to loosen the trucks. You can just fine tune it to your liking. The design is one of my favorite things about the board! I got the vintage floral design since I love floral print, and I think the design on the grip tape is pretty rad as well. As for the deck quality, I think its pretty good. Im a small and lightweight person (barely 115 lbs) so the board doesnt respond that much to my weight even if I jump on it, so I let my dad (whos always been a fit and burly dude) stand on it and kind of gently bounce on the board, but it definitely holds it own. This is a great size too if you want more stability compared to a regular skateboard, nickel board, or penny board. Like I said, Im small, but this board has a low center of gravity which I freakin love because Im more comfortable cruising on it. If you plan on bombing hills and whatnot though, I suggest changing out the bearings with ones that are designed for a faster ride. Overall, the board is great if youre looking for a starter board and dont want to spend a lot of money. Ive been practicing every other day for 20 minutes at a time for about 2 weeks now, and Im already comfortable with my backyard roundabout area, so now I just gotta take it around the neighborhood. :)

22-11-2024Ive not tried any of the other Longboards you can find here on Amazon, so Ive no comparison when it comes to boards around this price. That being said Ive ridden Name Brand boards costing three times as much and that fact alone is mind boggling. Just today I was riding a COREFLEX COMPOUND FLEX 3 Drop Through Longboard from DB Longboards which is retailed at over $200 and a CoreFlex Crossbow Flex 3 40 Longboard by DB Longboards which is retailed at Zumiez for $200 plus, (at 35 to 40 mph) and this board from VOLADOR which cost only $60 dollars is ON THAT LEVEL. That being said, not only are the DB Longboards similar, but Arbor boards too. When you boil it down the only difference between VOLADOR and Name Brands are that some of them can go a little longer and cruise without having to push. - Wheels are a bit hard, but that sort of thing is preferential (Reasons for riding). - No shake or wobble at 35 to 40 mph speeds. - Extended tail and nose good for popping up. - Easy to Kickflip. All in all this is the best deal. An Arbor board or DB isnt worth the extra price.

Greater than one weekA couple of weeks ago I decided to finally pull the trigger and buy a longboard and after a little bit of research and indecision I decided to settle on the Volador because of its relatively low price point and nice simplistic design. When the board arrived, I took it for a test run to see if I liked the feel of the board. Apart from the tightness of the trucks everything seemed fine, although the trucks were a bit tight so I ended up loosening them a bit so I could take turns better.. When I took it back inside and took a closer look at the board, I noticed that the grip tape had bubbles. Im not sure if that was a result of riding around in the heat or if they was there before, but fortunately that was an easy fix with a screwdriver to pop the bubbles. Now that a few weeks have passed and I have broken the board in somewhat,I can say that for $60.00, this is a solid purchase if you are looking to buy a long board. The deck is solid with little-no-flex. The wheels are holding up fine and there has not been any visible deformities yet. The bearings that the board came with are decent, however, I did have to clean them and re-grease after I rode the board in the rain. But becasue these bearings are rubber shielded it was not a hassle and easy to do. Overall a solid board for the price.

> 3 dayMy daughter had regular skate board. but she watched youtube video and wanted to try turn around on the long board . so we got this. as soon as she got it and tried. Its more stable than regular skate board. so she almost did it since she got on. l tried to ride on it. l made it because of stable. some kids like more flip using regular board. This one is long and heavy.so this one is not for flip kind of trick. but my daughter is so happy to get this and ride it every day!

> 3 daywhen it first arrived and i opened it for the first time i thought oh no this may have been too big and maybe it wouldve been better if i have gotten the penny nickel 27 inch board or a regular skateboard 31 inch and that i should just return it. so i tried to just hop on it inside my house and gave it a shot, boy was i wrong. this board was freaking awesome!!! i dont know if it was because this is my first time riding a skateboard in general and the adrenaline just kicked in but what i can definitely say about this board it is definitely smooth and comfortable. there was and is no way i can return it as i grown to love it within the past 2 hours (haha) this is definitely a great board ^_______^ i bought this board along with a 21 inch board for my friend as me and her plan on skating for the first time this winter break :)
