I would love to give this beautiful board 5 stars but it arrived with damaged grip tape fresh out of the packaging. Small but definitely noticeable and kind of a bummer for my first board. It otherwise rides beautifully and I’m super excited to start my longboarding journey.

Good for a beginner ‘s, as I myself am. I am by no means an expert, still very much a novice so I can’t speak to the nuances of the board. But even as a beginner I can tell that the stress fractures forming Where the trucks attach to the board speak to the quality of the board itself. I’ve had the board for maybe two months now and have strictly used it on a tennis court outside my home as I learned how to balance and turn in maneuver, for the first month and 3/4. I have only taken it on a path, a paved pathway three times for a total of about 6 miles. Still far from putting major even moderate wear and tear on the board and the stress fractures have surfaced. Now i got the board for 40 bucks on Amazon warehouse so I’m not complaining but if I paid the full price I might be irritated

I like it. Im used to skateboards but not much in a long board. If you buy a built deck that you don’t get to configure then you’ll want to replace the trucks, bearings and wheels with a better set eventually or depending on your preference. I enjoy a smoother ride so I’ll be upgrading. But $70 for everything, even if the only thing included was the deck, is cheap. I can see how a lot of boards came damaged at the time of delivery since Amazon didn’t put any packing material in the box at all. The bird was getting thrown around in there. I have a tiny piece of grip tape that’s a little damaged, but that’ll happen when using the board anyway. Eventually all grip tape needs to be replaced. This is a great starter board though, that you can upgrade as needed. I’m about 127 lbs, so buying a board isn’t really a worry for me, if you’re taller, heavier or more muscular however I’d recommend going to a skate shop or an online retailer with stronger boards. I figure I’ll have this board for about 1-2 years before it would need replacing.

The longboard is good but is abit unbalance when I put it in a flat floor one of the wheels is higher then the rest. Not sure if it is the board or something else but it does ride smoothly.

This thing is beautiful. From the graphic design to the shape of the board and it’s concave shape. The ride is sooo smooth and the wide wheels and flex make it so comfortable to ride it. Of course the value factor is out of the water good and you get way more than what you pay for. Now.... for the 1 reduced star rating... the vendor quality control is very lacking. We had originally placed an order for the lemonade design which is a greenish/yellow color pattern. Well, they sent us the cocktail color pattern instead which is the same pattern as lemonade but purple hues. Funny thing is that the bag the bird came in had a label that said “Lemonade” which is obviously wrong. Also, we noticed 2 of the wheels had marks like if they’d been sitting on something hard which made a permanent indentation on the outside edges. 2 of the 4 wheels had this issue. We returned this order and asked for a new Lemonade model. Well, guess what... same exact issues on the new one. Wrong color (cocktail) was received again while label on bag said lemonade, and once again, wheels had permanent knicks/marks on 2 of the 4 wheels. Returned it again for a refund and place a new order for a different color pattern (Fuji summer). Finally!!!! Got the right color, and wheels were perfect. Even though this was a pain, we persisted because we could tell right away with even the slightly issued boards that these are great long boards. Very happy now. Hoping this is just a warehouse quality issue They can fix rapidly and you don’t experience this yourself. Enjoy!

I’ve been using for a month almost every day and it’s been great so far. I bought it as a cheap replacement for my board that I couldn’t take abroad but I was pleasantly surprised with the flex of the board. Turning is very easy as well, even at the first try. The only thing that scared me on the moment is that the screws of the trucks were almost totally gone after a few hours riding. Might be careful with that when receiving the board, but with a t tool it shouldn’t be a problem. Anyway, great board for the low price and cruising around !

I bought this longboard as a beginner and had to save up for it! It arrived at my doorstep on a Thursday and I didnt notice it until the next morning when I left the house to walk my pet chicken, Sally. I was sooo excited that I accidentally scared Sally and woke up my neighbors. Anyways, the packaging was neat and the longboard itself deserves a 5-star review.

Im a 21 year old that wants a longboard as a means of getting around my college campus and for recreational use. I chose a board over a bike because the board is much more portable (i.e fits in a car). Ive always loved board sports (skateboarding, snowboarding, paddleboarding), so I figured it was time to get my first longboard. Did some research and item comparisons to a longboard my friend got at Target and a bunch of other longboards right here on Amazon. Pulled the trigger not knowing what to expect. Heres my impression of the board: Deck: Deck was the perfect size for me. I am 60, have longer than average limbs/legs and am currently around 190 lbs. It does have a bit of give/flex that made me uncomfortable at first out of fear the board will break (and that I will break something along with it), but this fear goes away the more comfortable you get with it. Skateboards tend not to have this level of board flex because of the smaller wheelbase. Good grip on top. Bottom came with a few bumps and imperfections on the finish, but nothing a week or two of regular use wouldnt have done to it anyways. I also understand because this isnt a professional board, so Im expecting quality, but understandably not the best. Only issue is the tail/nose are tiny, so while you do have a longer wheelbase in relation to the size of the board, its difficult to prop the board up on 2 wheels. Trucks: Seems to be average quality. I thought the handling was too soft for me, so I tightened the kingpins a bit. And then lossened them. And then tightened them. It took maybe 5 minutes to find my preferred tightness, which is one where I dont feel wobbly and can still turn. Ive gone down a few hills and I felt stable after my first couple runs where I was a bit afraid about not knowing how fast I would go and if I could handle the speed. Again, Im a beginner, but I was able to figure it out. Ive tried going for sharper turns by putting more of my body weight on one side/over the edge of the board, but I keep falling. Im gonna chalk that up to the fact that Im new to this and not blame the board. Wheels: Wheels seem to be decent quality similar to the trucks, though the trucks are better quality. Again, not cheap but not the best quality. Decent. Average or a bit above average, I wouldnt say below average. I will probably replace the wheels with Shark Wheels later on. The bearings, though, were terrible. I followed the advice of another reviewer and bought some Bones Redz for around $10 (without spacers, spacers are already included). Huge improvement on the stock bearings without even breaking them in. Its a shame they cut corners here. Now that theyre broken in, I get a lot more distance on each push. To summarize: -Board components are all average or a bit above average, with the exception of the bearings, which are terrible. Im new to longboardong, this is my first longboard and Im buying it over the internet without any real external guidance, so I didnt want to spend more money without truly knowing the best board to get. I couldnt find a cheaper board that came assembled and didnt come from eBay. Nothing about this board astounded me, but thats just because I had realistic expectations. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and I dont think you can find a better board for $49. If it came with a decent set of bearings I wouldnt have had to replace, I would have given it 5 stars. Edit 1: Its 2 weeks later and Ive cleaned the bearings I bought for the first time and replaced the wheels with Shark Wheels (70 mm 78A Ghost Formula). I rode it around for the past 2 days and though I originally didnt like the new wheels, I changed my mind after I saw how much faster I could go, how mich firther I could coast, and how I didnt get stuck on cracks that would have tripped me up on my other set of wheels. I also ordered a pair of Caliber II 50-degree trucks and I expect to see improved handling since these are 40 degree trucks. Still like the board. Edit 2 (01/03/2019): At this point, Ive logged dozens of hours on this board. I now own other longboards, but this is my favorite. The deck, while not the highest quality, remains the only original part of the board. I still stand by my statement that it is worth the money; if you want a real professional longboard board, youre going to have to spend at least $150 on just the deck itself. With that money, I bought a pair of Caliber II trucks for $35, a set of Shark Wheels for $45 or $40 (cant find receipt), and Bones Reds bearings for about $10. Those 3 elements, especially together, will change the way the board performs and responds more than just the deck. Just some food for thought.

*THIS IS A REAL REVIEW, I DID NOT GET PAID FOR IT* Okay now that that is out of the way, I really love this longboard. I wanted to learn to ride and didnt want to buy a $200 dollar board just to find I didnt enjoy it. However, I fell in love with my board once it arrived. It has been really easy for me to ride and learn on, although I am not super skilled so I cant say anything on the specifics of the board. I have gotten going pretty fast and been able to turn well while riding. One of the only draw backs was when I got it the plastic wrapping on it went under the trucks so there where little bits of plastic that I had trouble removing. As a side note this company was really helpful because when I first put my order in I had my previous address for the shipping. When I contacted them they got back to me right away, even though it was the middle of the night and had it changed. They were very prompt, accommodating, and understanding!
