> 3 dayA couple of weeks ago I decided to finally pull the trigger and buy a longboard and after a little bit of research and indecision I decided to settle on the Volador because of its relatively low price point and nice simplistic design. When the board arrived, I took it for a test run to see if I liked the feel of the board. Apart from the tightness of the trucks everything seemed fine, although the trucks were a bit tight so I ended up loosening them a bit so I could take turns better.. When I took it back inside and took a closer look at the board, I noticed that the grip tape had bubbles. Im not sure if that was a result of riding around in the heat or if they was there before, but fortunately that was an easy fix with a screwdriver to pop the bubbles. Now that a few weeks have passed and I have broken the board in somewhat,I can say that for $60.00, this is a solid purchase if you are looking to buy a long board. The deck is solid with little-no-flex. The wheels are holding up fine and there has not been any visible deformities yet. The bearings that the board came with are decent, however, I did have to clean them and re-grease after I rode the board in the rain. But becasue these bearings are rubber shielded it was not a hassle and easy to do. Overall a solid board for the price.

> 3 dayMy daughter had regular skate board. but she watched youtube video and wanted to try turn around on the long board . so we got this. as soon as she got it and tried. Its more stable than regular skate board. so she almost did it since she got on. l tried to ride on it. l made it because of stable. some kids like more flip using regular board. This one is long and heavy.so this one is not for flip kind of trick. but my daughter is so happy to get this and ride it every day!

Greater than one weekIts a good board for the price range. it feels light and resposive when taking corners, NO WHEEL BITE! Its incredibly stable at high speeds 30-35+mph and grips well, there is a nice curve on the edges to keep your feet where they belong, also a little kick-up on the front and rear to make picking it up easy, may need to tighten or loosen up some things when you get it, wheels, bushings, etc.(I gave the bushings about two turns tighter and I dont get wheel bite, Im 59 150lbs to put into perspective) just needs a good set of bearings and its a competitive setup.

> 3 dayFirst time skating, so I really cannot compare this to any other board, but as a product in general its not a bad buy for $70 (The price has changed daily since I had bought it). I actually received two of these boards, because the first one was unfase to ride as one of the wheels would not stay on. Normally this would be an easy fix, as I should be able to just tighten the nut that keeps the wheel in place, however there was some problem with the wheel or the truck that would not allow the nut to be secured. They sent me a replacement board after a day or two of negotiation. It must be noted that both packages were in pretty bad shape, with the second package looking as if it had been opened mid transit. The product itself is simple, and the design is great. It comes covered in a plastic bag, and has plastic wrap around the deck. The problem with this, is the wrap is difficult to remove around the trucks, as it was put on the deck before the trucks were fastened. It came pretty loose, but a couple turns with a skate tool fixed that, as the trucks had standard sized nuts. Great product, alright company.

> 3 dayI love this board! As a very clumsy person who has has no poor experience with longboarding, I thought I wouldn’t do well. But this board is super reliable! It’s been only a few days but I’ve been zipping down the neighborhood and down hills around town. It’s very sturdy too ( my dad, around 250lbs, jokingly tried to hop on it, and the board didn’t even cave) . I seriously recommend this to anyone, especially beginners!

Greater than one weekThis thing is beautiful. From the graphic design to the shape of the board and it’s concave shape. The ride is sooo smooth and the wide wheels and flex make it so comfortable to ride it. Of course the value factor is out of the water good and you get way more than what you pay for. Now.... for the 1 reduced star rating... the vendor quality control is very lacking. We had originally placed an order for the lemonade design which is a greenish/yellow color pattern. Well, they sent us the cocktail color pattern instead which is the same pattern as lemonade but purple hues. Funny thing is that the bag the bird came in had a label that said “Lemonade” which is obviously wrong. Also, we noticed 2 of the wheels had marks like if they’d been sitting on something hard which made a permanent indentation on the outside edges. 2 of the 4 wheels had this issue. We returned this order and asked for a new Lemonade model. Well, guess what... same exact issues on the new one. Wrong color (cocktail) was received again while label on bag said lemonade, and once again, wheels had permanent knicks/marks on 2 of the 4 wheels. Returned it again for a refund and place a new order for a different color pattern (Fuji summer). Finally!!!! Got the right color, and wheels were perfect. Even though this was a pain, we persisted because we could tell right away with even the slightly issued boards that these are great long boards. Very happy now. Hoping this is just a warehouse quality issue They can fix rapidly and you don’t experience this yourself. Enjoy!

> 3 dayI like this board, I have another VOLADOR and I think they are great boards, especially for their price. I weigh about 190 LBS and it has no problems with fractures or turning at all! I gave this 4 stars for a reason (maybe 2): when looking at the boards, they are altogether seeming that all youre doing is picking out the design, when in reality the sizes are different with the different design patterns. Secondly, it says 40 inch when at the bottom it specifically says 38 inches. Im not really upset at the size of the board, but I am pretty aggravated because I love my 42 inch VOLADOR so much, I wanted to get the exact same size, just a different pattern, and Im even gonna buy another one in a couple days. Im writing this review because these boards are fantastic, i just feel like i was mislead during the process of choosing the pattern. Ill still be ordering more of them, I just hope this allows the process for people in the future to not have this same issue, and just tell me its 38 inches when it clearly says it at the bottom

> 3 dayThis is my first board Ive purchased for myself. Im really liking the experience of boarding down a huge hill even though Ive fallen from death wobbles a couple times. My friends have loosened the trucks for me noting that Im about 133 lbs and not heavy. Also, having shorter legs at 52, the length of this board gives me ample room to have a comfortable wide stance when riding. Others that are taller than me and range in weights from 165-220 have said: -They would replace the trucks -The board itself is too bendy for them due to their weight -The bearings are uneven (or something like that... I dont remember) Overall, this board is a great fit for me as a lighter weight person and a beginner!
