I can honestly say I was very surprised how much my son loves this giraffe. The little nubs and legs are great for putting different geometries inside babies’ mouths, and now that my son is teething, he gets the biggest smile when I pull out this toy. One thing to note is that the company warns against getting water inside the squeak hole. It can get trapped in there, and apparently some giraffes were found to have mold in them a few years back. I usually just put my thumb over it while washing her off and it seems to be fine. She is a little expensive for the size of toy that she is, but I think this toy is well worth the price tag. Not made in China (like so many toys sold in the US today), but in France, you can feel how good the materials used to make Sophie are by just picking her up. Definitely would recommend to parents of teething babies, and just babies in general.

My 4 month old doesn’t really enjoy it as much as the “teething ring” version. I purchased both when he was 3 months and does not put the teething ring down! Maybe once he gets a little older he’ll enjoy this one.

I bought this for my niece. It was on her wish list for her baby shower. Such a cute gift! As far as how it works for teething....I guess well find out when those teeth come in. It got lots of oohs and aaahs at the baby shower.

I have raised 9 children, 23 years as a childcare provider and a grandmother of two. I have purchased Sophie for each and everyone of the babies I’ve taken care of. Amazing smell, texture, boa free and throw in fridge makes the best am quiet toy for school drop offs

My daughter has an easy time holding it and getting into her mouth unlike other toys we’ve tried but it collects fuzzy and hair really easy, I have to constantly rinse it off which can be a little difficult since you have to plug the squeaker hole.

I bought one of these for my son, and from day one he has adored it - it comes everywhere with us and he always has it in his mouth or swinging around. It lasted through cutting his front teeth, but it got so much attention that the plastic finally started to crack. We ended up replacing it, and Sophie continues to be one of his most favorite toys. We got this as a gift for a friend’s newborn, and not only did she love receiving it but her son is just as obsessed with his Sophie as our son. It’s really great quality, easy for little hands, and easy to clean. I highly recommend.

Purchased this item for all 11 of my grandchildren and all Moms loved it, soft, easy to clean and especially easy for baby to hold , great for teething!
