> 24 hourWith wire at the smaller end of the specifications, I found the clip action to be very positive, and -- unlike the experience of some reviewers -- quite unlikely to pop open. The videos make it look like the lever action just requires a light touch, but the springs are surprisingly strong, and I couldnt find a way to make one pop open under the usual folding and shoving that takes place when you pack all the excess wire back into the box. I could imagine slightly different behavior with wire thats at the large end of the specs, but I havent had a chance to see if this makes the spring force weaker or stronger. In every application so far, Ive found these to be at least as solid as wire nuts, and of course theyre much quicker and more compact. Another advantage is that wire nuts can be twisted on extremely tight, giving the impression of a super-solid connection, when in fact the grip on ALL the stripped ends may not be equally reliable, and with three wires, or mixed solid and stranded, one of them can be loose without any obvious indication. With the Wagos, you can easily see and feel the grip on each individual wire.

> 24 hourWAGOs were used when I replaced some lever light switches with some smart switches. Easy to use and install. Wish I had bought a pack with the 8-conductors because one of the original wire nuts had four wires going into it and I needed to add two more. The wire nut wouldnt hold onto all of those wires so I had to use one 5 connector and one 3 connector.

> 24 hourI had been reading reviews on some wire connectors that popped up in my feeds and the general recommendation was to stick with the original Wago 221 lever-nut connectors. I happened to have a wiring project at hand and bought this small sampler box to try them. OMG! These things are brilliant! They easily accommodate a variety of wire gauges and are easy to use and install. I think they take less time to prepare and install than traditional twisted wire nut bundles. Best of all, in an electrical box that is both a junction and contains switches or receptacles, these things are incredible at saving space, especially if you are also trying to include bulky items like dimmers or home automation smart switches/outlets. Your ground wires and neutrals can be connected and grouped neatly together in an easy-to-trace row of flat connections and pressed out of the way to the back of the box instead of the giant wad of twisted wires finished with a huge wire nut (and sometimes electrical tape) that tend to consume a huge chunk of the valuable real estate inside the electrical box and often requires you to squeeze the switch/outlet into the tight remaining space. These clever lie-flat lever-nuts leave plenty of room for the switches or outlets. Connections are quick and easy and almost flawless every time. You barely have to strip any insulation off the end of a wire for connection. In this case, it is almost less is more. I have been frustrated many times by a wire losing contact in that twist under a wire nut - or a short when a wire is inadvertently contacted/pierced as the switch/outlet is screwed in place. Often the wire shorts are difficult to trace and identify, and a pain unpacking and unbundling and re-twisting the wires together (or mending an inadvertent piercing of the wire insulation. Not a problem with these ingenious connectors. The assortment comes with 2, 3, and 5 wire connectors. I thought I might need to connect more than 5 wires, but that did not prove to be the case. If it were necessary, two connectors could be easily daisy-chained. I encountered a couple of 4 wire connections that wasted one of the slots of the 5 connector lever-nuts, and I momentarily wished there was a 4 wire connector - but apparently, that doesnt exist. While I kind of hated wasting the extra wire slot, I didnt lose any sleep over it. I liked these 221 series Wago lever-nuts so much after trying them out on the current wiring project, I have since purchased a larger assortment pack as I dont want to ever run out because I dont plan on using traditional wire nuts ever again! And I dont want to if I can avoid it! Thank you Wago for a great product, and these assortment packs are a great way to get started using them. While I havent looked, I presume I can purchase bulk packs of a single-size connector like you can with traditional wire nuts if I find I am using a lot of one size. But, that is a problem for another day...

> 24 hourI use them in place of twist wire nuts and theyre great. I have set them up on new ceiling lights and dont spend nearly as much time getting things together putting the wires together. My wife definitely appreciates them. And I also use them when installing new power outlets/sockets.

> 24 hourI have used traditional wire-nuts for 50+ years... till now. This package has a nice selection of sizes to choose from. The transparent connector enables you to see that the wires have been inserted correctly. Wago wire connectors are compact, easy to use and reusable. Im sold on Wago wire connectors.
