Greater than one weekI like using WAGOs for their ease and cleanliness in home electrical work. Ive read and viewed some content saying that they are inefficient and time will tell if I have to go back and remove them from my walls, but until then, theyve made wiring simple electrical projects pretty easy.

Greater than one weekNo dislikes. I have struggled with wire nuts over the years. Just when you think you have it all wired, one of the wires falls out. Electricians who use hundreds of wire nuts every week have no problems with them, but for homeowners they can be tricky and if you have to undo the wire nut the wires come out sorta corkscrewed. These WAGO connectors are brilliant. Strip the wire, shove it in, close the gate, done and very secure. Best of all, since the pack comes in 2, 3, and 5 sizes you can wire up 5 wires at once - easily. That is not easy for us amateurs using a wire nut. If you ever have to undo the connection, simply lift up the gate and the wires come right out. Remember, cut the power to the connection FIRST. I will never us a wire nut again.

> 3 dayI have only been using Wago Lever-nuts for about a year after seeing them recommended in a Youtube video. After about 50 years of using wire nuts for various projects I am well aware of their many shortcomings. A perfect example would be wiring up a light fixture in my house where the light fixture comes with stranded wire pigtails to connect to the single strand house wire. Wire nuts are unreliable when it comes to attaching stranded wire to solid wire. I just completed a project which required a bunch of connections of stranded wire of various gauges, as many as 5 wires coming together in a single connection, and the Wago Lever-nuts were a real joy to work with. Only a year of experience with them is not much but at this point in time I love them. One feature I really like a lot is the ability to lift the lever and disconnect a wire and reconnect it again very easily. Tends to make isolating and troubleshooting very easy. Also connecting stranded to solid wire is easy and reliable as is connecting different gauges of wire.

Greater than one weekWhile installing a bathroom exhaust fan using the lever nuts, I locked each one onto the appropriate wire on my bench, then just made the last connections up in the unit, with no worries of dropping the wire nuts or putting them in wrong.

> 3 dayWire nuts are SO 2020! This is the future of wire connections. I wont go back to wire nuts after using these. Once the wires are stripped and inserted, no tools are needed to make changes. Just flip the lever, move the wire and flip the lever down to secure. Perfect for audio/video connections. Will buy again. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayLiked the product as it’s easier to use than wire screw nuts and seemed potentially safer. Most people don’t know that there is a very specific way to *properly* make connections with a wire screw nut. That said using these handy items is a breeze, very fast to make solid connections and lower profile than said screw nuts so it’s easier to pack into tight or crowded junction boxes. HOWEVER!!!! I found the tabs that hold the connection can EASILY be bumped open when you’re pushing them back into the junction box. The tabs can catch something and pop open which can leave a live wire exposed creating a potentially hazardous situation, especially if you don’t recheck your connections when done. So… YOU MUST wrap electrical tape around the connector so that the tabs can’t accidentally become unsnapped. Not a big deal since I already do that with wire screws anyway. Yes these are more expensive than wire screw nuts but it’s much easier to make a very tidy job well done. Plus I like that each wire has its own connection instead of bundling together and hoping it stays put.

> 3 dayI am a DYIer (a big one) so these connectors are great. Easy to connect AND disconnect. I do believe these provide more surface contact than the push in connectors. I wish this one was availbe for aluminum wiring though.
