> 3 dayI really like these, much thinner than a wire nut. You just lift the little tab slide in the wire then close the tab. They are really nice with strand wire you can slide them in and lock without tearing it up like a wire nut does when mixing a strand and solid wire

> 3 dayWAGO 221 Lever Nuts are like law and order for your wire pairs, or Star Treks famous photon torpedos and phaser banks when compared to sling shots and rock throwing. You still need to observe wire strip length guidelines for best results. For heavy bundles its still seemed like a good idea to tape or heat shrink the levers down as a backup, since it is possible under over-stuffed electrical switch and outlet boxes conditions for a lever to find its way open. Sometimes the same conditions encourage conventional wire nuts including newer quick-connect style connectors to let go of the captive wires for the same reasons. Most of the time they worked great without any additional considerations during the test period for combining say a smart switch with tinned stranded wire with the structures solid-core Romex 14-gauge and some 12-awg load and neutral wires. Same for grounds. Over all these really speed up work including any troubleshooting requirements. If you value you your time and safety these offer a clear value over cheaper connectors. Way-to-Go WAGO!

> 3 dayNo dislikes. I have struggled with wire nuts over the years. Just when you think you have it all wired, one of the wires falls out. Electricians who use hundreds of wire nuts every week have no problems with them, but for homeowners they can be tricky and if you have to undo the wire nut the wires come out sorta corkscrewed. These WAGO connectors are brilliant. Strip the wire, shove it in, close the gate, done and very secure. Best of all, since the pack comes in 2, 3, and 5 sizes you can wire up 5 wires at once - easily. That is not easy for us amateurs using a wire nut. If you ever have to undo the connection, simply lift up the gate and the wires come right out. Remember, cut the power to the connection FIRST. I will never us a wire nut again.

> 3 dayThese connectors are the cats meow. So easy to use I almost considered redoing some previous work. Wire nuts are running for their lives from fear of being replaced.

> 3 dayI redid all of the lighting in my basement before finding out these exist. Having to twist all of the wires together and then cut them at an even height is such a pain before wrapping them in a wire nut, particularly when I started getting in to the 4-5 wire connections. Ugh. These wago connectors simplify the process significantly, all you do is pop the wire in and snap it down and boom youre done! To make things even better on each wago connector theres an 11mm guide so you know how much to strip off the wire before connecting it in. I redid the lighting in my living room and added accent lights with wagos and was so much happier, it was such a breeze in comparison to using wire nuts. For extra safety I always use electrical tape over and do at least one pass over the entire wago. Ive re-checked the wago connections 3 months later and havent had any issues.

Greater than one weekI recently rewired our entire downstairs family room with new ceiling lights, new switches, and new outlets. These made it simple and straightforward. So far, among the best DIY products I have purchased.
