> 3 dayI’ve always used wire nuts for wiring things. Buddy of mine said I needed to try the wago’s, so I did. These were so easy to use and I knew 100% of the time that all my wires were connected.

> 3 dayAmazing replacement for wire caps - great for home DIY electrical work. When you inevitably wire something wrong, this makes it literally a snap to undo and redo while holding VERY strong and consistent connections. There’s a reason almost every DIY channel on YouTube recommends these now! Just double check your local codes first. Depending on your needs, I would actually suggest to buy one of the other variety kits that has more of the 2 and 3 wire connectors (or whatever you need). I have no use for the 5 and 6 wire ones in this kit so I knocked off a star on value for money.

> 3 dayNice assortment of connectors for the price if youre interested in trying these type of connectors. These make connecting solid wire and stranded wire much easier compared to wire nuts. They cost a little more than caps but are simpler to use-dont need to twist wires together, reusable and wont damage your wires like cap nuts or push connectors do. Buy in bulk packs to save some coin..for me 2 and 3 wire connectors used the most for fixtures and switches/outlets.

> 3 dayThe best way to install these is to use the wire strip length diagram on the back of the unit and then cut and strip your wires to the same length. After lifting up the levers above each hole you are going to insert a wire in, shove the wire all the way in until you can see it touching the back and fold down the lever all the way down tightly. Pull the wire to make sure that it is secure. On stranded wire, try to avoid twisting the wire before shoving it in the hole to the rear. These are designed to be used on wire between 24AWG-12AWG but 12AWG and 14AWG work best. Only insert one wire at a time and lock it down with the lever before going to the next wire. Make sure to pull it to insure that you have it all of the way back and locked down tightly. The 221 series is smaller than the 222 series but, both are limited to the same size wire. I recommend these over wire nuts for tying solid copper wire to stranded copper wire 100%.

> 3 dayI went cheap and got a set of the no-name connectors. 2 years later I have had to replace a couple of them because they just give out. Now I will only use the cheaper no-name ones for low voltage connections but for home 110v current - use these lever nuts

10-06-2025These are a solution to splicing wiring or making connections that can either be temporary or permanent. The ease of sliding a stripped wire into each slot and pushing down the clamping device makes it very easy and simple to connect those loose or broken wires. I use these in areas especially where I may have to disconnect and reconnect wires, or just to know that if needed, wiring can be easily changed . . . VERY good idea and versatile uses . .
