> 3 dayI purchased these to do some lighting improvements in a campervan restoration project. They proved very useful since they allowed me to configure the wiring and easily change the configuration as I worked out where to run everything. Solid construction and materials. Tight clamps for the connections. I think these will hold up well.

Greater than one week(The husband here reviewing.) After years of hating dealing with awkward large wire nuts and trying to get all the twists right in the grounding wires and then trying to stuff everything back into the box, these Wago connectors are a joy! Im actually looking forward to using these on every wiring project I can, going forward. They are like a breath of fresh air!

> 3 dayThe best way to install these is to use the wire strip length diagram on the back of the unit and then cut and strip your wires to the same length. After lifting up the levers above each hole you are going to insert a wire in, shove the wire all the way in until you can see it touching the back and fold down the lever all the way down tightly. Pull the wire to make sure that it is secure. On stranded wire, try to avoid twisting the wire before shoving it in the hole to the rear. These are designed to be used on wire between 24AWG-12AWG but 12AWG and 14AWG work best. Only insert one wire at a time and lock it down with the lever before going to the next wire. Make sure to pull it to insure that you have it all of the way back and locked down tightly. The 221 series is smaller than the 222 series but, both are limited to the same size wire. I recommend these over wire nuts for tying solid copper wire to stranded copper wire 100%.

> 3 dayI had been reading reviews on some wire connectors that popped up in my feeds and the general recommendation was to stick with the original Wago 221 lever-nut connectors. I happened to have a wiring project at hand and bought this small sampler box to try them. OMG! These things are brilliant! They easily accommodate a variety of wire gauges and are easy to use and install. I think they take less time to prepare and install than traditional twisted wire nut bundles. Best of all, in an electrical box that is both a junction and contains switches or receptacles, these things are incredible at saving space, especially if you are also trying to include bulky items like dimmers or home automation smart switches/outlets. Your ground wires and neutrals can be connected and grouped neatly together in an easy-to-trace row of flat connections and pressed out of the way to the back of the box instead of the giant wad of twisted wires finished with a huge wire nut (and sometimes electrical tape) that tend to consume a huge chunk of the valuable real estate inside the electrical box and often requires you to squeeze the switch/outlet into the tight remaining space. These clever lie-flat lever-nuts leave plenty of room for the switches or outlets. Connections are quick and easy and almost flawless every time. You barely have to strip any insulation off the end of a wire for connection. In this case, it is almost less is more. I have been frustrated many times by a wire losing contact in that twist under a wire nut - or a short when a wire is inadvertently contacted/pierced as the switch/outlet is screwed in place. Often the wire shorts are difficult to trace and identify, and a pain unpacking and unbundling and re-twisting the wires together (or mending an inadvertent piercing of the wire insulation. Not a problem with these ingenious connectors. The assortment comes with 2, 3, and 5 wire connectors. I thought I might need to connect more than 5 wires, but that did not prove to be the case. If it were necessary, two connectors could be easily daisy-chained. I encountered a couple of 4 wire connections that wasted one of the slots of the 5 connector lever-nuts, and I momentarily wished there was a 4 wire connector - but apparently, that doesnt exist. While I kind of hated wasting the extra wire slot, I didnt lose any sleep over it. I liked these 221 series Wago lever-nuts so much after trying them out on the current wiring project, I have since purchased a larger assortment pack as I dont want to ever run out because I dont plan on using traditional wire nuts ever again! And I dont want to if I can avoid it! Thank you Wago for a great product, and these assortment packs are a great way to get started using them. While I havent looked, I presume I can purchase bulk packs of a single-size connector like you can with traditional wire nuts if I find I am using a lot of one size. But, that is a problem for another day...

> 3 dayHonestly, wire nuts suck but theyre very cheap. These connectors are pricey but they make everything so much easier, especially when youre trying to connect multiple 12 gauge wires. Definitely not cost effective when youre wiring or re-wiring a house, but for small jobs they are worth every penny. I wish I would have tried these years ago, I just rewired my bathroom and couldnt believe how much time they saved me.

> 3 dayI bought these a while back just to have on hand. I replaced a light in my kitchen and remembered I had these and man are these easy to use. WAY easier to use than a wire nut and holds very well. Especially helpful for connecting single strand wire to multi strand where wire nuts can be a bit of a pain to bite correctly.

Greater than one weekI redid all of the lighting in my basement before finding out these exist. Having to twist all of the wires together and then cut them at an even height is such a pain before wrapping them in a wire nut, particularly when I started getting in to the 4-5 wire connections. Ugh. These wago connectors simplify the process significantly, all you do is pop the wire in and snap it down and boom youre done! To make things even better on each wago connector theres an 11mm guide so you know how much to strip off the wire before connecting it in. I redid the lighting in my living room and added accent lights with wagos and was so much happier, it was such a breeze in comparison to using wire nuts. For extra safety I always use electrical tape over and do at least one pass over the entire wago. Ive re-checked the wago connections 3 months later and havent had any issues.

Greater than one weekFar simpler to use than all other two/three/four wire connection systems. As firm a connection as soldering and black tape and much easier to take apart and/or re-connect when/if necessary; most important: takes up far less space/volume than almost any other connection system
