Saw these on a YouTube diy video on installing 3 gang outlet. Very easy to use and easy to be sure wires are seated firmly and don’t take up as much room as wire nuts.

I love these connectors. I am a handyman and this saves time and makes connections secure and solid. There is some talk about the levers opening while closing a box or pushing in a outlet or switch. Easy solution, which I do anyway, WRAP THEM IN ELECTRICAL TAPE. Solved. Watch YouTube videos about them, you will love them too.

I saw these while searching for terminal blocks and decided to try them. Not only do they work well but they take up less space and they are very easy to use. Shortly after getting them I had to replace the power cord on a 1 1/2 HP motor that terminated in a small metal box. Small wire nuts had been used and they were baked. Good wire nuts wouldnt fit. I remembered these lever-nuts, pulled out 3 and dropped them in the box to see if they would fit. They did and I couldnt believe how much easier they were to use compared to wire nuts. Pop the lever, insert wire, close lever and done. I didnt fully trust them so after a few minutes under load I checked their temperature and they were still cool.

I recently purchased an echo show during Amazon prime sale. Along with the echo show I bought several smart switches and smart plugs. I had to wire them into my house. This product made the job super easy. The first one I tried using wire nuts and found it very difficult to get the wiring back into the wiring box. However, after using this product it was a breeze. Highly recommend. By the way in case you’re wondering they are UL compliant and very sturdy and safe.

As a General Contractor, I often have clients that are undecided when it comes to lights and switch placements. It used to be a real hassle because designing on the fly when under a tight schedule can be very time consuming. Its similar to the proverbial moving company stories: Move the couch over here. Hmm...No, lets try over here...that doesnt work, lets move it back to where it was. Meanwhile, I am working with clients as well as subcontractors so it is important to know where the placements for the design will be. Wago wire levers changed the game. It allows me to quickly change fixtures, switches and placement without the hassle of wire nuts or push splices. Change your mind? No problem...When everything is settled, I can remove the hardware and put the wire back so the subs can move forward with client confidence. To me, thats worth the extra cost for these. The 5 wire splice is perfect for splicing ground wires together and takes hardly any time or effort to shove everything back in to the box. If you are bound to smaller boxes due to age or design, these are the only UL listed solution that can make it happen when the box cannot be replaced. Ever try to wire a dimmer switch into a box from the 60s? Its almost impossible. I will caution you to always double check: * Each wire that is inserted must be inserted all the way so you can see the end through the other side of the lever splice. If you cannot, you must open the lever, check your wire length and try again. * Fully depress the lever down so you feel it click past the indent which keeps it in place. Sometimes the lever looks fully depressed but it is actually not. * After pushing wires back into a box, double check that there are no levers that have lifted. This happens quite often and is not the fault of the design. The force of solid copper wires can be enough to rub against the levers and pop one or two open when pushing them in. It has happened to me frequently. If I know a project is complete and signed off, I will usually wrap the lever nuts once with 3M electrical tape. This ensures the levers will not pop open ... ever. When I think about the time I spend fitting fixtures for clients using other products, it easily adds up well beyond the extra cost of lever splices. Knowing a light fixture has to come back down for paint is no longer an ugnnn moment. If you know you are wiring something and it will likely never need to come back out again, I would actually advise using push/plug style splicers. They are just as fast but a chore to come back out (which is the point) They cost much less than the lever nuts so its a win win. Otherwise, the lever nuts are an amazing invention and will likely be here to stay. You can use them for car stereo wiring, home electrical and more. They even allow a mix of different wire types used together such as 18ga stranded with 16ga solid. Gotta love that.

Includes all 3 sizes of WAGO 221 LEVER-NUTS in a convenient plastic case that will fit in most pockets. They are sorted into compartments by size. Use them to connect any combination of solid, stranded, and flexible copper wires faster and more reliably. Includes: 16x 221-412 (2 conductor), 12x 221-413 (3 conductor), 8x 221-415 (5 conductor).
