> 3 dayThese are the BEST means of connecting electrical items with differing wire size and/or type (solid vs stranded). They are reusable; and extremely DIYer friendly.

> 3 dayWAGO 221 Lever Nuts are like law and order for your wire pairs, or Star Treks famous photon torpedos and phaser banks when compared to sling shots and rock throwing. You still need to observe wire strip length guidelines for best results. For heavy bundles its still seemed like a good idea to tape or heat shrink the levers down as a backup, since it is possible under over-stuffed electrical switch and outlet boxes conditions for a lever to find its way open. Sometimes the same conditions encourage conventional wire nuts including newer quick-connect style connectors to let go of the captive wires for the same reasons. Most of the time they worked great without any additional considerations during the test period for combining say a smart switch with tinned stranded wire with the structures solid-core Romex 14-gauge and some 12-awg load and neutral wires. Same for grounds. Over all these really speed up work including any troubleshooting requirements. If you value you your time and safety these offer a clear value over cheaper connectors. Way-to-Go WAGO!

> 3 dayAmazing replacement for wire caps - great for home DIY electrical work. When you inevitably wire something wrong, this makes it literally a snap to undo and redo while holding VERY strong and consistent connections. There’s a reason almost every DIY channel on YouTube recommends these now! Just double check your local codes first. Depending on your needs, I would actually suggest to buy one of the other variety kits that has more of the 2 and 3 wire connectors (or whatever you need). I have no use for the 5 and 6 wire ones in this kit so I knocked off a star on value for money.

Greater than one weekThese are by far the best thing I’ve tried in a very long time. I kept putting off buying them and finally I ran into a project that my old push in connectors were not able to hold the wires from a new flush LED panel light I put in the kitchen. I remembered that these were able to hold wire sizes even smaller than the ones on the panel, so I ordered them. Already ordered more and getting rid of the old ones I had. Never going back to them.

> 3 dayThese connectors are way more expensive than standard wire nuts, however, they have their uses where they can be superior. The 3-port and 5-port units in particular are far easier/better/safer than nuts and they are way more compact. The fact that they can easily be removed and rearranged is also a huge plus. I wont use them on every job (due to cost) but I will certainly use them in many situations. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayNo dislikes. I have struggled with wire nuts over the years. Just when you think you have it all wired, one of the wires falls out. Electricians who use hundreds of wire nuts every week have no problems with them, but for homeowners they can be tricky and if you have to undo the wire nut the wires come out sorta corkscrewed. These WAGO connectors are brilliant. Strip the wire, shove it in, close the gate, done and very secure. Best of all, since the pack comes in 2, 3, and 5 sizes you can wire up 5 wires at once - easily. That is not easy for us amateurs using a wire nut. If you ever have to undo the connection, simply lift up the gate and the wires come right out. Remember, cut the power to the connection FIRST. I will never us a wire nut again.

08-06-2025Easy to use…strip the wire, insert into slot, close the clip and the wire is secured. Traditional wire nuts have a tendency to fall off from road vibration and these will hold your wiring together nicely. I use these when I replaced my RV ceiling puck lights and in the future replacement of the pucks will be much easier with these clips.
