Got a new PC which had a real fast main SSD. It was not the typical form factor so I mistook the secondary drive (1 GB spinning drive) at the primary drive. Ergo I got this second SSD drive so I installed it and another spining 4 TB. You can never be too skinny or have enough disk storage.

This is by far the slowest most aggravating purchase i have ever made. The only thing that makes up for it is its size. I got the 1tb for $100+ my computer booted fast with a traditional HDD, so I converted this SSD to a USB mountable USB drive :( cause i cant let 1tb go to waste. Spend a bit more, get a samsung :/ I never write reviews, but i spent hours installing windows and creating system images... only in the end i reverte back to my traditional HDD and waiting for a REAL ssd to come in post to do it all over again. SSD III SSD III cables It was the drive. dont do it.

Got it on black Friday for 75$. Really happy with it. Packaging was very poor, but the internal package was fine, no tears or bends, and the ssd works perfectly fine.

From a 7200 RPM hard drive, this is a huge upgrade for me. I used it in my temporary gaming tower and its super fact compared to the mechanical hard drive I had before. I wish it was slight more faster and the differences between this green one, black one and blue one are more apparent.

This is an entry level solid state drive (SSD), and for standard use will be satisfactory. Compared to older mechanical hard drives (HDDs) these will make your computer superfast. They also consume less power in a laptop and can improve battery life, and are not fragile if dropped. The down side is that the potential lifespan of the less expensive SSDs is not considered robust. For heavy use like gaming, I would pony up for a drive with longer lifespan as measured by read/write cycles
