> 3 daySmall, light, works great. You have to initialize it before your computer will recognize it of course.

Greater than one weekI wanted this as a cheaper, perhaps more reliable alternative to an external. It would not work with any of my 3 adapters, that have worked with internal drives before.

> 3 dayI bought two of them. One disk failed almost immediately. The second one just failed, in a really bad way. Even SMART monitor tools cannot access its electronics. It lasted about 2 years. 1/3 of what Seagate SSHD disks of the same size have lasted. I have had Seagate SSHD disks serve me faithfully for 5.8-6 years, 24/7 as opposed to these junk WDC makes in Malaysia.

> 3 dayThis was fairly easy to install, I have a custom built PC so all of the cables were already there. It does NOT come with a cable nor mounting screws. If you want it to look professional then youll have to buy those separately or rip them out of an older PC. You do have to configure it first which was a little troublesome at first because Im not a Windows person. I simply hit the Window button and type Administrative Tools then clicked Computer Management then scroll down to Disk Management. Your new drive should be there ready to initialize and configure. For Linux its the standard mounting command. I play video games and this drive is much faster than a spinner drive, glad I purchased it.

Greater than one weekPros - it was easy to pop in. One screw held in the DVDROM. And two more on the mount. SAVE THE SCREWS. Drops right in the caddy, caddy plugs right in. Cons - My Windows 8.1 did not recognize the drive. I had to do a little digging in the control manager before I found where to format it. Overall, its working fine, and now I have 1.5TB on my laptop, used for my karaoke business. I havent used the DVDROM in ages, nice to upgrade and eliminate wasted space.

> 3 dayThe WD Green SSDs are good value for the storage capacity. However, in terms of IO transfers its slower than other brands and other WD models. For large storage and if you want something faster than HDDs, the Green SSDs are good value. If you are looking for an SSD with better performance needed for fast storage, then would look else where.
