> 3 dayPurchased this drive to use as a bigger space for my OS. and not even for about under a year and theres already a bad block, which now I have to handle this through warranty to get a new SSD. Would only recommend you use this Drive for gaming only. This SSD unfortunately has a short life span.

Greater than one weekNeeded an SSD to upgrade to Mac OS Mojave, since apple is forcing the new APFS filesystem on everyone, and APFS makes traditional hard drives crawl. Have had good luck with WD hard drives, this is my first SSD. Will try to remember to update this in a year or two. UPDATE: Drive started registering errors in Jan 2020, so about 6 months usage. Not really worth the money. After reading several reviews I replaced it with a (smaller capacity) WD Blue SSD. So well see how that goes.

> 3 dayI bought 3 of these total and upgraded my work PC, my work laptop and my wifes PC. This was the best upgrade I have made to our computers in years and it was super low cost. Boot times are 100% faster. Its like getting a new computer but better. These were really easy to install and there are plenty of instructional you tube videos but you can be logical and figure it out. I have been running drives for about a month with no issues and best of all no sound. By nature SSD have no moving parts and whats noticeable is the lack of sound or noise coming from my computers now. All in all I would buy more but dont need more.

> 3 dayThe speeds are good enough for using this as home NAS. Time will tell how reliable this is, but it is surely more reliable then the bunch of 250gb ssds which were using a bunch of usb to sata adapters that it has replaced. So instead of 4 (some really old and crappy ssds) I have one 1tb ssd which will be used mostly as a place for downloads while the two 2tb micron ssds hold the stuff for permanent storage.

> 3 dayI wanted this as a cheaper, perhaps more reliable alternative to an external. It would not work with any of my 3 adapters, that have worked with internal drives before.

Greater than one weekPros - it was easy to pop in. One screw held in the DVDROM. And two more on the mount. SAVE THE SCREWS. Drops right in the caddy, caddy plugs right in. Cons - My Windows 8.1 did not recognize the drive. I had to do a little digging in the control manager before I found where to format it. Overall, its working fine, and now I have 1.5TB on my laptop, used for my karaoke business. I havent used the DVDROM in ages, nice to upgrade and eliminate wasted space.
