Just updated this review. Unfortunately not good news. After 6 months of great performance, this 1TB drive is toast. Computer locked while I was working on it and would not reboot. Did a chkdsk /r and there are thousands of bad clusters. Tried to claim warranty and WD website is worthless, it would take weeks to get a warranty replacement and I just cant be down that long. Just ordered a Samsung for $10 more, hopefully it will last longer.

Basically it just flat out died after three months, complete waste of money
