Works amazing for video editing, gaming, everything. Runs fast and effectively! Downside was it did not come with an m.2 screw, which was only a minor inconvenience, other than that AMAZING product!

Very slow boot for a NVME. Speed is similar to my very old sata ssd. No instructions or clone software for the average user like myself. Only paperwork was warranty paperwork. I had to google for an hour and use a 3rd party clone software to clone my windows and backups. Horrible experience. WD for its size, skimped out on the cloning software. You cant assume people want to reformat and start from scratch. Also, you cant assume all customers are PC mechanics. I want to return it badly. I wanted to support an American company in WD. I see why Samsung just came in and became #1 immediately.

I wasnt really looking for extra speed - just more space. Out of curiosity I tested my PC before and after switching and got 2 to 3 times increases in read/write times in ATTO Disk Benchmark. What else can I say other than it really is an SSD. It works, and thats just about the bare minimum thats required of it, so good job I guess.

This just arrived. The seal on the box is broken - it was already opened. I will try this out and check the statistics to see if it was used. However, I am not happy about purchasing a NEW item and receiving an open box item!!! Update: Ive installed this and ran a diagnostics. It is functioning 100% and is incredibly fast. It appeared to already have 1 hour of usage and 1 power cycle on it already. Its like having a new computer instead of a 2 year old computer. CONS: The include Acronis cloning software did not work. I researched the issue and was able to boot into the Acronis boot loader, but it said it could not detect all of the drives and would not function. It seemed to think that I was waiting for a USB drive to startup, even after selecting to wait, it did not work. MSI x470 Gaming M7 AC motherboard with Ryzen 2700x. I put this in the PCIe M.2 #1. I tried a few other cloning applications and the only one that worked, and was very simple to use is called Macrium Reflect 30 day trial for Home usage. It took about 30 minutes to clone the system drive with 300GB of used space. It also allowed me to manually increase the size of the C: partition to use up the remaining space on the new drive. If I would purchase this again, but I would pay more money and get the largest size that I could afford. The computer boots in like 4 seconds and about 10 seconds after I log into Windows 10. Everything is instantly responding.

Installation took 5 minutes in my sons Lenovo laptop. Double check your laptop for the hold down screw! SInce his didnt come with an NVME from the factory there was no bracket or screw. The drive does not come with one. Luckily I had a screw that fit and was able to make a small washer to hold it down.

Installation was easy, you just need the correct YouTube video to guide you through it. Im very happy with the capacity size. While its has only been a month, its been great and quite an upgrade from what I had :>
