This is the first solid-state drive Ive had it this type. Ive got to say, Im pretty impressed. With the physically small size of this drive, and the capacity of 500 gigabytes, and the fact that its fast as Greased Lightning, Ill never go back to a standard Drive! The drive itself is easy to set up, no special software needed, and Windows Disk Management had no problem seeing and setting up the drive. Currently, Im using this in an external enclosure to transfer files between computers. This is way more convenient than the old Styles external drive I had. My old driveway at about a pound and a half and this one is just a couple of ounces. I cant wait until my next home computer build when I will make certain to choose a motherboard that will be able to use drives like this. The speed is amazing. If you do use this in an enclosure, you will probably notice as I did that it does build up a little bit of heat. Just having the enclosure plugged in, over time it gets warm to the touch. Im sure this is the nature of the Beast, but its not exactly comforting. Next time I choose an external drive enclosure, I will make sure to get one with a heatsink on the external.

Best M.3 drive for the price. I recommend it. Its fast.

This is a perfectly nice SSD drive but it would have been nice to know that I had to buy the screws to secure it to the motherboard separately.

Easy to install, never had a problem with western digital ssds so I doubt I’ll have issues with this one either.

Great product to improve hard drive storage. This was used for gaming laptop thats also used for audio and visual editing. Improved boot up and start up time, excessive storage to manage multiple applications.

Does what I need it to do. Which is mostly for gaming. It helps a lot with my loading times. Loads battle.net app quickly along with wow and cod. Steam still loads fairly slow. However I have halo the master chief collection that loads quickly. I have noticed that GTA 5 still loads slowish. My main complaint would be that after you install the drive, you must download the drivers in order for your pc to recognize it. I have only been using it for a few weeks. So I dont know how long the drive will hold up or if speed will diminish over time. All in all. Im happy with it and I think its a good budget M.2.
