> 3 dayI upgraded my previous M.2 SSD and this drive is so fast and working as expected. I would recommend it.

31-05-2025This product performs as intended and is great for what it is. I think its good for entry level gaming but even better for daily use and casual use. If you are looking for top specs this is not it. However, it is an excellent basic use SSD.

Greater than one weekNo issues at all, connected easily to Computer Management gave it a volume name, formatted That easy and kind of fast. Formatting took forever, not a problem. Just not a fan of Quick Format. WD has always been a great product, very reliable products. Been using WD for over 25 years.

> 3 dayI know for certain my motherboard is compatible. I tried installing in both m.2 ports and it wont show up in the BIOs in either. After troubleshooting for a while, I realized the only explanation was that it’s already dead. I wore an anti static bracelet and made sure to handle it carefully when installing, but it was never good to begin with.

Greater than one weekUsing this SSD through a USB 3.0 adapter to a computer whose internal SATA port is broken. A 2.5 SATA drive via USB does not work properly. I cloned to this drive and to my surprise, it works just fine. I have better than SATA 2.0 speeds from Crystal Disk Mark. Great way to get life from a broken PC

> 3 dayThis SSD is a great addition to my computer. I moved my operating system over to this drive and my computer is so much faster. It was very easy to install, just too a few screws to remove and then add back in.

31-05-2025The drive ended up not working at all, To the point where whenever the drive was even inserted into my motherboard my computer wouldnt even let me get into the BIOS, just a completely blank screen. I looked into it and others seemed to have similar issues with this specific NVMe drive too.

> 3 dayI bought this as a secondary drive on my new laptop. It already had a WD Blue 500GB, but since it is a gaming laptop and I know I was getting Microsoft Xbox Game Pass for PC, I kind of needed the extra space. The performance is top-notch. Everything is nearly instant. It took me 20 minutes to remove my laptops back panel, 2 minutes to install the WD Blue and screw it down, Then another 20 to replace the back panel. Seriously, it has almost 30 screws. The drive was recognized right away. I performed a quick format and started installing games. My next upgrade will be to PCIe Gen4 WB Blacks, but that will be a ways off. If youre on the fence about buying one of these, no matter the size, just hop on down and grab it. Youll be glad you did.
