When we opened up the bag, all of the pieces to use it were not included. Very disappointed. We were with an experienced camper and he said it was not a good hammock. First time using was this past weekend and we cannot return because its too late now. Im sad because we would have avoided the review otherwise. Maybe we can buy the pieces at REI. Bought this product (intended for myself) for a camping trip and perhaps some backyard relaxation, happy to report it was easy to set up (I bought the tree straps so I didnt have to fuss with knots), supported well over 200lbs, and only needed height/support adjustment a couple of times - it seemed to stretch initially? Anyway - the double is pretty big for an average sized adult (I bought the double after reading some reviews that it was preferred over the single). It basically closes up around you like a cocoon. My kids thought this was great; I was slightly annoyed because I had to keep my arms out in order to see properly around me, *or* pay extra attention to where I sat in the hammock (higher up the side) so the fabric couldnt creep up around me so much. Wonderful for hiding and playing peekaboo from your friends and/or siblings! On its maiden run, this hammock also supported 3 tweens goofing around in it, much to my surprise. Heres hoping it continues to support me in my backyard!

I think this hammock is great for the price. The carabiners are a bit heavy. Replaced them with cheap but strong aluminum ones and cut off 2oz. When laying in it I can just barely feel the seem between the two colors. I think the seem feels a little tighter than the cloth giving it a little less give. It doesnt have much of an effect on comfort but all things equal I think I would prefer no seam...it does make it a lot prettier though. The included tree straps worked great. They are very slightly heavier(about 3oz per strap) than some specialty brands but at the price I cant justify paying that much extra for other straps. Total weight for me after switching out the carabiners was about 20oz. A little heavier than ideal, but not that far off from ultralight specialty brands that cost a lot more. It is very slightly shorter than I prefer.An extra foot would go a long way to making this super comfy to sleep in. So basically it is very slightly worse than spending four times the price on specialty ultralight brand products and at this price point is an incredible value while still performing really well.

This was a gift from my wife. It is a very good hammock. And the price is even better. The double is very large. I have broad shoulders and have tried other double hammock and could not close the sides over me if I wanted shade. This hammock with me my wife and my 2 toddlers all in it( yes that’s 4 people in this bad boy) we can still close the sides over us all. The only minor con is the straps that come with it. They are fine quality but the adjustments only change about 18 inches per strap. Which is still very functional but means you may have to strap it pretty high on a tree or find some trees pretty far apart. But over all a great product and looking to buy a smaller one for the kids.

I bought two of these double hammocks for my 9 year old and I to enjoy the outside during quarantine as much as possible. I’ve had them about a month now and we use them every non-rainy day. The quality is great. They are comfortable. And since my daughter would rather be in mine with me than her own I can attest that they are durable. I was worried about the negative reviews when I bought them. Although there were so many positives I always worry they are paid for, but I figured the price was good and I’d just give them a try. Turns out they are great and the company never asked for a review. So, I write this from the comfort of my hammock and a big thank you to Owl for saving quarantine!

Easy to put up.

Right off the bat when I opened this, I was impressed with how durable it seems and the material is soft to the touch and comfortable. I set it up in the driveway, one end tied to a tree and the other to my Jeep. It took me a couple tries to get it high enough. It’ll seem like it’s high enough, but then you get in and it droops down a little. Once I got the height right and got in, I was super impressed. It’s very comfortable and felt very sturdy. I weigh about 215 Lbs and it could definitely hold another person no problem. I got the two person hammock and it’s definitely big. With just me in it, the sides have a lot of excess space and can wrap over the top of me like a cocoon. I can’t wait to take this camping and see how it is. Great product!
